Harry Potter: Reunion with the Enemy

Chapter 62 Draco's Lies, Truth, and Confession (Part )

In the chaos, Lancelot nimbly dodged the anti-thief spray and stepped into the door of the fairy workshop.

At this moment, most of the goblins in the workshop were attracted by Draco. While Draco's nonsense to the lie detector echoed throughout the tower, Lancelot was calmly examining the various precious raw materials, drawings and semi-finished products at each long table in the goblin workshop.

"Let me see, these are more valuable than the golden gate, aquamarine diamonds, chrysoberyl cat's eyes, spinels..." Lancelot muttered to himself, occasionally holding up some raw materials to observe the light. "Instead of sinking to the bottom of the sea, let me take them away. I will find a better home for you..."

Lancelot glanced at the lie detector that the goblin took out to detect Draco from a distance, "This is a product specially made for Aurors of the Ministry of Magic. Is it a replica of it by the goblin?" Next to it were the Aurors' special mirrors and various detection equipment for detecting dark magic. It looked like Mad-Eye Moody's desk was moved here.

Suddenly, the design drawings piled up on the other side attracted Lancelot's attention. The sword, ring, crown, shield, just looking at the pictures and designs recorded on the parchment was amazing enough. In addition to the detailed pattern design, the edges of these drawings were also filled with dense goblin words. Lancelot was already very proficient in the goblin language, but because the handwriting was too small, it was still very difficult to read.

Lancelot felt that some of the blueprints for the sword and the ring looked familiar, but he could not find the relevant memories in his mind for a while. "So familiar..." Lancelot looked at the half-empty package and stuffed all the blueprints on the table into his package. "These blueprints were burned by the fire. That's right, dear fairy friends, don't ask where they went."

By the time Lancelot had quickly swept the entire tower, Draco had already rushed to the bottom floor.

"Quiet! We have to find the culprit!" One of the goblins waved his arms to try to clear the black smoke, while loudly reminding his companions.

"Besides the blond wizard, are there any other invaders?" echoed the goblin in the workshop.

"But the lie detector has already proved that it's not him." A small objecting voice popped up, "Although I know that wizards are most likely not good people."

"The fire is spreading from the dungeon! Is there a traitor among the goblins responsible for feeding medicine to the dragon?"

After a violent vibration, there was the sound of the wall breaking. A terrifying scene suddenly appeared outside the translucent window of the workshop. A huge dragon had rushed out of the dungeon. Its huge body was thrashing in the sea, as if it was trying its best to get closer to the sea surface. The green blood of the fire dragon dyed the sea surface a strange color.

At this time, Draco stumbled up from the bottom floor, holding something invisible in his hand. He strode towards the door uncontrollably, his expression almost out of control.

"Stop!" A leprechaun quickly blocked Draco's way. It saw a bloody hand. "What is this?"

Another goblin quickly stepped forward and splashed anti-theft spray, and a thin, bloody figure appeared. Not only was half of his clothes burned by fire, but his leg was also obviously cut with a bloody wound.

"Thief?" A goblin stepped forward and glared at the gradually visible Harry, then looked back at Draco suspiciously, "Or your accomplice?"

Draco had quickly changed his expression to one of disgust, and pointed at Harry and said to the goblin: "This is the idiot from the Ministry of Magic. I just caught him and now I have to deal with him."

Harry, who was pinned to the ground at this moment, looked at Draco with some surprise and confusion.

Then, he quickly followed Draco's line of sight and saw the lie detector not far away. As a common tool used by Aurors, Harry was very familiar with its functions and imperfections.

Harry glared back at Draco breathlessly, "Yeah. You're secretly training dragons for profit. When I get back to the Ministry, none of you will be able to escape."

Lancelot was hiding in a corner watching the two perform. He looked out the window and whispered to himself, "No one can escape - but those who should have escaped have already escaped."

Outside the window, another dragon squeezed out from the crack in the wall, and its wings slammed violently into the sea water that had turned dark green, making a deafening sound. Its hind legs kicked the outer wall of the tower and it swam away quickly.

The black smoke was gradually submerged by the flood, and the holes in the outer wall allowed seawater to rush in. The roar of the fire dragon on the bottom floor and the sound of the water pouring in mixed together. The junction between the second and third floors of the tower was obviously blocked by the fire dragon.

"Accomplice!" The goblin could no longer suppress the trembling of fear.

"Of course not, we've been sworn enemies at school for seven years." Draco denied, "The lie detector will prove my innocence."

"He called me names and humiliated me many times," Harry responded coldly.

"He cursed me," Draco shot back quickly.

"He also nearly knocked me off my broom at a Quidditch match by pretending to be a Dementor," Harry said, raising his voice.

"He broke my wand and released our house-elf with malicious intent." Draco had just taken back the only remnant of his wand - a unicorn feather - from Harry.

"I was tortured in their dungeon." Harry squeezed his wand, which Draco had tucked back deep in his pocket.

"Okay, okay, even if you two are so irreconcilable, the loss of the fairy underwater dungeon this time is probably closely related to you two." The fairy interrupted their conversation reluctantly.

Because at this moment the influx of seawater is about to flood the passage from the second floor to the top floor of the slaughterhouse.

The area around the tower has become a gathering place for escaped fire dragons.

"Retreat - take everything in the workshop and we will Apparate to another base." An old goblin who looked like an elder gave orders.

The goblin looked back at Draco coldly, "Since you know the whip Andre, I believe we will have a chance to meet again. Now I will leave it to you to deal with him. We will meet again in the future. There will be a day to settle accounts." After saying that, it threw a pair of magic handcuffs to Draco, "Don't let us down when we talk about it next time we meet."

Draco handcuffed Harry with magic handcuffs in an extremely neat motion. "You're right. This is the only way to deal with dishonest people."

The water level was rising, and the goblins in the tower were Apparating away at a very fast speed.

By the time all the goblins had fled, the roar of the underground dragon had been hidden in the sea water, which had already reached above the waist. Seeing that there were no goblins around, Draco bent down and carried Harry, who was exhausted and bleeding excessively, on his back.

"What a wonderful speech." Harry said with a hoarse voice.

There were only a few things left that the goblin hadn't taken away, and the lie detector was still quietly recording and detecting every sentence it could receive on the table.

"Although now is not a good time to talk about this." Draco carried Harry towards the door.

"What? Ahem." Harry asked, coughing.

Draco put his lips close to Harry's ear and spoke the Parseltongue that Salazar Slytherin had taught him.

Harry was stunned for a moment, then a smile appeared on the corners of his cracked mouth: "I think you should cherish the seven years we have been enemies."

Draco stood still on the steps covered with sea water, looked back at Harry's profile without saying a word.

"After all, once you say I love you, the identity of lover is yours alone."
