"Hiss--" There was a soft sound beside my ear. "Hiss--"

Harry felt like he was trapped in a dark nest. He couldn't hear the meaning of the voices around him, which made him feel irritated. He wanted to break free from the shackles that trapped him, but the potion that was poured into his mouth seemed to have put a layer of shackles on him. His struggle was like running wildly on a road with no end - it was completely in vain.

Thousands of thoughts were tangled in my mind. Chaos - gradually becoming clear - falling into chaos again, and so on.

Until this time, the force that dragged his thoughts into the abyss did not appear again.

There was a flash of light before his eyes, and Harry opened his eyes suddenly.

What came into view was the familiar ceiling of the London apartment. As if sensing Harry's movements, a snake head stretched out.

"So you're awake." In front of me was a black snake with white markings.

"California Kingsnake?" Harry gasped. "You—you're back?"

"Strictly speaking, I was fished out a few hours ago." There was a sudden bulge on the belly of the California King Snake. "I was almost trapped in the passage of the underground lake of Gringotts and turned into a dried snake. It was also very difficult to record the shapes of those goblin languages."

"What is this?" Harry pointed at the strange large bulge in the snake's belly with some confusion.

"This is the boiled meat your friend made for me. He was so sleepy that he almost passed out, and he looked unhappy." The California king snake pointed downstairs with its tail. "I swallowed it in one gulp and then digested it slowly."

Harry felt a little weak all over. He moved his limbs in confusion. Wedding photos... the island... and then...

Harry walked down the stairs and saw Lancelot lying on the sofa downstairs, holding something tightly in his hand.

Teddy. Harry remembered that the last time he woke up, he was surrounded by a group of goblins and the long-lost Teddy. That meeting was so unreal that he was wishing that it was all a nightmare. It must be a nightmare. His brain always liked to uncontrollably recall the past. How could Teddy stand with the goblins...

The apartment was silent in the early hours of the morning.

Harry glanced at the clock. In the past, he would never wake up at this time, but now he seemed to have just woken up from a sleep that could not be longer. Reason gradually returned in the confusion. The atmosphere of the apartment made Harry feel at ease, but there was also a sense of weirdness. Something had changed.

Harry dragged his feet slowly around the apartment, his limbs gradually becoming warm and strong. There was a piece of meat left on the plate in the kitchen that had only been boiled, and Harry swallowed it like a California king snake. The boiled meat was still warm, and it seemed that it had not been too long since Lancelot returned to the apartment.

Lancelot did not sleep deeply, his brows were tightly furrowed, as if he saw something disgusting in his dream.

Harry had been walking around the apartment for a full circle, and he couldn't quite tell what he was looking for.

"Where is my other master?" the California kingsnake hissed.

Harry paused as he finally realized what was wrong. Everything in the apartment that belonged to Draco was gone.

Draco filled his wardrobe with clothes, daily necessities, and exquisite furniture brought from Malfoy Manor. It turned out that Harry was so uncomfortable with the apartment because half of his things were missing. Harry didn't have many things to begin with, and now everything he saw seemed empty.

Draco Malfoy. In his memory, he and himself were in the hotel on the island last time, and he wanted Harry to put on the wedding dress again... Was this also a dream? In the dim living room, Harry felt a sense of unreality. There were a lot of memories about Draco Malfoy in his gradually clearing brain. Even all the rooms in this apartment were attached to memories, the sound of Draco cooking, the sound of taking a shower, teasing each other in front of the mirror, and the sound of turning pages before going to bed.

The incoherent memory fragments and the inexplicable reality in front of him made it difficult for Harry to think. He even felt that the clothes he was wearing were a little strange, and he didn't remember buying such clothes.

"While I still remember, I can draw the characters of the Elf language for you. You know, snakes don't have a large brain capacity." The California King Snake hung half of its body from the upstairs. "I can use my tongue."

Harry nodded, and as the California king snake twisted and turned to recover everything it had seen, Lancelot suddenly cursed in his sleep and woke up with a start.

"Are you okay?" Harry tried to suppress the many questions in his mind and asked hurriedly. He saw a large red bloodshot in Lancelot's eyes. The small notebook he held tightly in his hand seemed to have the logo of the Daily Prophet on it.

"Harry." Lancelot rubbed his face roughly, "Do you feel anything unusual? If you feel unwell, I will take you to the hospital."

Harry waved his hands to show his health. "Why..." There were too many questions at the moment, and Harry didn't even know where to start. And just as the California King Snake said, Lancelot looked very upset now.

"Draco was taken away by his parents," Lancelot said without Harry asking, "I'm afraid he went home."

"But aren't we on vacation on an island? Taking pictures?" Harry said slowly. He wasn't sure.

"There was an accident. But we are all back." Lancelot replied.

"Accident? Are we all back safely?" Harry asked.

Lancelot's mouth twisted oddly, "So far. Goblins and werewolves may have plans for an attack at the Quidditch World Cup in a few days."

Harry's heart sank. Goblins and werewolves. The memory of Teddy might not have been a dream.

"I'm feeling dizzy right now, sorry. I've been running around and arguing all night." Lancelot's eyes dropped, "If you're free after daybreak, could you help me pay the bill for the potion shop in Diagon Alley? I took some of the stock away last night because I needed potions urgently."

"No problem." Harry nodded. "What medicine do you need urgently? I remember Draco has a medicine box. If you need more, I can give you some."

"The compound - nothing." Lancelot avoided Harry's gaze. "I'm afraid I only have one night's more information than you do. But it looks terrible outside right now."

"If Draco returns to Malfoy Manor, you and I are here, and Ed has gone home too?" A fear rose in Harry's heart, he felt that Teddy was related to these events.

Lancelot lay flat on the sofa staring at the ceiling, but did not answer immediately. "Don't worry about him."

Harry felt that the bad mood emanating from Lancelot had intensified. "Actually, I remember the last time I woke up, I was surrounded by a large group of goblins in a room with my godson." He said without thinking. "But now I'm back here."

"There will be many important things to do after daybreak." Lancelot closed his eyes. "Ed—suitable for being made into a cat mummy—hang it on the wall along with his stubborn bones."

Harry didn't quite understand the insult that suddenly came out of Lancelot's mouth, "I think Ed is a very worthy friend, just like you. Is there some misunderstanding between you two?"

Lancelot glanced at the crooked goblin language drawn by the California king snake and covered his face with the small notebook with the words Daily Prophet printed on it. "If we are lucky, we may get some news, some in-depth news about the enemy." He stopped talking and seemed to have fallen into a deep sleep again.
