Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 119: Fugitive Sirius Black

When Hermione heard this, she immediately put her hands on her hips and started to grin, "Why don't you go back and write now!"

Harry was so frightened that he forgot to take his book and ran away.

Looking at Harry's receding back, Hefeth couldn't help but applaud and laughed, "Mother He is so mighty and domineering!"

"Hephis~~~" Hermione lowered her head embarrassedly.

She was used to taking care of two poor students every day, and just now she even forgot that Hephis was right next to her.

Harry came running back out of breath and glanced cautiously at Hermione.

Then he quickly picked up the book, turned around and ran away again.

Hefeth quipped, "Look, it scares the child."

Hermione slammed the table, her arrogance rising, "Humph! Have you finished writing?"

Hephis smiled slightly, "Teacher Hermione, would you like to come to my room to check it out tonight?"

"You..." Hermione's face turned slightly red, but she could not lose the momentum. "Go ahead, just wait for me."

Hephis quickly changed the subject, "Didn't you say before that you wanted to buy a pet? How about we go now?"

Hermione was very satisfied to see that he had given in. "Well, I want to buy an owl. After all, you all have owls."

Hephis thought for a moment and said, "Owl! I'll give Skadi to you. I can't use it anyway."

Hermione pouted, "Skadi! No, it's a bit ugly."

Hephis rolled his eyes, wondering when did Hermione have any aesthetic sense?

He pulled Hermione into a pet store called Magic Zoo.

The store is small, with all kinds of cages hanging on the walls.

Mm, it smells like the zoo.

There were customers in the store, so they stood by and looked at the various pets.

Hephaestus saw a huge tortoise, its shell covered with jewels, showing off by the window.

A fat white rabbit kept turning into a top hat and then back again, making puffing sounds.

There are also cats of various colors and a cage of noisy ravens in the store.

and black rats in a large cage on the counter.

Hephis saw a good-looking snowy owl, completely white.

She was staring at him with her big eyes, and looked very energetic.

Hephis was about to recommend the snowy owl to Hermione, but he saw that she was already holding a huge ginger cat in her arms.

The ginger cat had thick, fluffy fur, and had a slightly similar hairstyle and hair color to Hermione.

Its legs were a little bent and its face looked like it had been flattened.

"Uh...Hermione, do you want to buy it?" Hephis asked tentatively.

Hermione smiled and nodded, "Look how brilliant its fur is!"

Hephis was speechless.

That's it......

Just this aesthetic?

How dare you say Skadi is ugly?

No wonder she married a woman in the original novel...

"Its name is Crookshanks, and it has been here for a long time." The witch smiled and looked very happy.

"Crookshanks, I want to take it home," Hermione said softly.

"Finally... ahem, Crookshanks is great, and he has some Kneazle blood in him." The witch began to warm up for the price increase.

Hermione happily paid the money, hugged Crookshanks, and left the pet store with Hefferthy.

"Hermione, why don't you give Skadi to you? I can't use it right now." Hephis suggested.

"No need, it's enough for me to have Crookshanks with me." Hermione even tried hard to scratch its neck with her little hands, "Isn't it, Crookshanks?"

Crookshanks meowed with great enjoyment.

Hephis saw that Hermione was having some difficulty holding Crookshanks and wanted to reach out to take her.

But it seemed to hold a grudge against him because of what he had just said, and it refused to let him hold it and even bared its teeth at him.

Got it!

More like her master.

So they had no choice but to return to the Leaky Cauldron and rent a room for Crookshanks to stay temporarily.

Diagon Alley isn't really that big, and there's nothing new there.

The next day, they had nowhere to go.

Except for meal times, they come out to stroll and eat.

Hermione spent most of her time reading, and often urged Harry to complete his summer homework.

Of course, Heffies couldn't stay in the Leaky Cauldron forever.

When he wasn't with Hermione, he went to Vanassa's.

There is business to be done, and it must be business to be done.

As the last day of school approaches, the Leaky Cauldron becomes completely bustling.

Because the entire Weasley family was here, and they were planning to stay here overnight.

Harry finally breathed a sigh of relief because his summer homework was finally completed.

Early in the morning, Harry dragged Ron, who had just arrived, into the bustling Diagon Alley, saying that he wanted to see the Firebolt.

Harry's greatest pleasure now.

Every day he would run to the window outside the Quidditch boutique store and lie there staring at the Firebolt.

When Hephis returned to the Leaky Cauldron.

He happened to hear Mr. Weasley talking to Harry about Sirius Black.

This name is not unfamiliar to Hephes.

No, to be more precise, Snape hated this man to the core.

When he devoured Snape's shadow, he saw Snape's memories of his school days.

The person Snape hated the most was James Potter because of the pain of having his wife taken away from him.

Following closely behind was Blake.

The one who bullied him the most among the four robbers and even almost killed him once.

Hefeth glanced at the photo of Blake in prison uniform with a hideous face in the newspaper, and felt as if his memory was a little confused.

Why did he remember that Black was following Dumbledore?

But it didn't matter, he was on Snape's side.

Since Black was not staying in Azkaban, Hephis didn't mind letting him feel the warmth of the "sunshine" again.

Hephis suddenly remembered something, "Mr. Weasley, long time no see."

Mr. Weasley looked up and saw him, and extended his hand enthusiastically, "Hephis, we were just talking about where you were going!"

Hephis smiled and shook his hand. "I felt a little bored, so I went out for a walk."

"I heard that you have been here for a week." Mr. Weasley also said with a smile.

"One more thing, the car that Ron and Harry drove to school is still with me." Hephis whispered.

"Car?" Mr. Weasley slapped his forehead and then remembered.

"Molly was so angry that time, and Ron didn't explain clearly, so we thought the car was lost."

"The car is in my box now, but..." Hephis hesitated, "Why don't you come and see it yourself?"

Although Mr. Weasley was a little confused, he still greeted the others and followed Hefice upstairs.
