Rocot: Reborn

Chapter 287

"The God of this world? How ridiculous..." Roccod's deep laughter echoed in the empty laboratory, with a hint of sarcasm and disdain. "Evelyn, you don't really think that I would believe such nonsense, do you?"

Evelin's face turned livid in an instant, and she gritted her teeth and said, "Lockold, don't refuse a toast and drink a forfeit! Do you think you still have a choice now?"

"Choice?" Rocot raised his eyebrows, a dangerous light flashing in his eyes, "I have always had a choice, you just haven't seen it yet."

"Really? Then let me see what else you can do now!" Evelyn roared, raised her hand suddenly, and a black energy beam gushed out from her palm, heading straight for Rocot's face.

Locot did not dodge or evade, but just stared coldly at the energy beam. Just when the beam was about to hit him, his body suddenly turned into a ball of black smoke and disappeared on the spot.

"What?!" Evelyn was shocked. She never thought that Rocot could dodge her attack.

"Are you looking for me?" A cold voice came from behind Evelyn. Evelyn turned around suddenly and saw that Rocot had appeared behind her at some point. The corner of his mouth curled up with an evil smile, and in his hand he held a dagger that was flashing with black light.

Before Evelyn could react, the dagger in Rocot's hand had already pierced her chest. The black energy flowed into Evelyn's body along the dagger, madly devouring her vitality.

"Ah!" Evelyn let out a shrill scream, her body trembling violently, her eyes filled with fear and despair.

"Don't you want my power? I'll give it to you now!" Rocot said coldly. There was no mercy in his eyes, only endless coldness and cruelty.

The black energy raged in Evelin's body. Her skin began to fester and her hair fell out one by one. Her originally beautiful face became hideous and terrifying, like a demon crawling out of hell.

"Lockold...I won't let you go even if I become a ghost..." Evelyn uttered the words with difficulty. Her voice was hoarse and unpleasant, like a broken bellows.

"Then let's talk about it after you become a ghost!" Rocot sneered and pulled back the dagger. Evelyn's body collapsed limply on the ground, black energy gushed out from her seven orifices, completely devouring her.

"Evelyn!" Ivan watched his sister die in front of him with bloodshot eyes. He struggled desperately and wanted to rush over to kill Rocot, but the soldiers held him down tightly, preventing him from moving.

"Rocot! You devil! I will kill you!" Ivan roared, his eyes filled with flames of hatred.

Rocot turned around and looked at Ivan coldly, with a mocking smile on his face: "Kill me? Just you?"

"I..." Ivan was speechless. He knew that with his current strength, he could never be a match for Rocot.

"Ivan, you are still too naive." Rocot shook his head, with a hint of pity in his tone, "This world is a world where the strong prey on the weak. Do you think that you can change this world with your pitiful kindness?"

"I..." Ivan wanted to say something, but Rocot interrupted him impatiently.

"That's enough, Ivan. You should be thankful that I don't want to kill you yet." Rocot said coldly, "Now, get out of my sight, or I don't mind sending you to reunite with your good sister!"

Ivan stared at Rocot, his fists clenched so tightly that his nails dug deep into the flesh and blood flowed through his fingers.

"What? Do you still want to take action?" Rocot raised his eyebrows, and a dangerous light flashed in his eyes.

Ivan took a deep breath. He knew that now was not the time to turn against Rocot. He had to be patient and wait for the opportunity. One day, he would kill Rocot with his own hands and avenge his sister!

Ivan closed his eyes, took a deep breath, suppressed the anger and hatred in his heart, then he suddenly opened his eyes, looked at Rokod coldly, and said word by word: "Rokod, remember this, one day, I will make you pay the price!"

After saying that, Ivan no longer paid attention to Rocot. He turned around and staggered out of the laboratory. His back was full of sadness and despair.

Roccod looked at Ivan's back as he left, a cold smile on his face. He whispered to himself, "Ivan, do you think you still have a chance?"

After saying that, Rocot turned around, his eyes fell on a huge machine in the center of the laboratory. The machine was flashing with strange light, as if it was the eye of a demon from the depths of hell, emitting a terrifying aura that made people's hearts palpitate.

"Evelyn, do you think that everything will end when you die?" Roccod's mouth curled up with an evil smile, "You are wrong, everything has just begun!"

Roccod walked up to the machine, reached out his hand, and gently stroked the cold metal shell of the machine, with a crazy light flashing in his eyes.

"Soon, I will become the god of this world, and you will all become my slaves!"

Rocot laughed wildly, and the laughter echoed in the empty laboratory for a long time...
