Rocot: Reborn
Chapter 156
"That's straightforward! I like dealing with smart people." There was a hint of appreciation in the man's voice, but his tone was still as cold as ice. "You will be glad for your choice, Rocot."
Roccod did not speak, but looked coldly at the mysterious man in front of him. He did not know who the other party was, nor did he know what the other party's purpose was, but he understood that in this world where the strong prey on the weak, only strength can control one's own destiny.
"I will provide you with all the help you need, but you must remember that our deal is based on absolute obedience." The mysterious man paused, with a hint of warning in his tone, "If you dare to betray me, I will make you regret coming into this world."
"I, Rocot, never break my promise." Rocot's voice was low and hoarse, as if it came from the depths of hell. "But I also hope that you can remember your promise, otherwise..."
"What else?" The mysterious man seemed to be irritated by Rocot's tone. An invisible pressure descended instantly, making Rocot almost unable to breathe.
"Otherwise, I will let you know what true fear is." Roccod gritted his teeth and squeezed out a sneer. Although his body was still very weak, the ruthlessness in his bones had not diminished at all.
The mysterious man was silent for a moment, then suddenly burst into laughter, his laughter full of mockery and disdain: "Interesting, really interesting! I haven't met a toy as interesting as you in a long time."
"Toys?" Rocot frowned, with a hint of anger in his eyes.
"Don't get me wrong, I just like to see you struggling to survive." The mysterious man restrained his smile, with a hint of teasing in his tone, "Don't worry, as long as you are obedient, I promise you will get everything you want. But if you dare to go against my will..."
The mysterious man did not say anything more, but Rocot had understood what he meant. He knew that he had embarked on a road of no return, and what awaited him would be a bloody storm.
"Tell me, what should I do?" Roccod took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down. He knew that now was not the time to act rashly. He had to survive first before he could talk about revenge.
"It's simple. Kill Richard." The mysterious man's voice was as cold as a poisonous snake. "He is your biggest obstacle and the leader of those who betrayed you. As long as you kill him, you can take back everything that belongs to you."
"Richard..." Roccod repeated the name in a low voice, with a complicated look in his eyes. Richard was his good friend and the person he trusted the most, but in the end he betrayed him and pushed him into an abyss of no return.
"Why, you can't do it?" The mysterious man seemed to see through Roccod's hesitation, and said with a hint of sarcasm, "That's right, how can an indecisive person like you be a match for Richard?"
"Shut up!" Roccod roared, his eyes full of murderous intent, "I will kill him with my own hands, and then send those who betrayed me to hell one by one!"
"Very good, this is the Rocot I know." The mysterious man nodded with satisfaction, "I will provide you with Richard's whereabouts. As for what to do, it's up to you."
After saying this, the mysterious man disappeared into the night, as if he had never appeared.
Rocot stood there, his clenched fists slowly loosened, his eyes flashing with a cold light. He knew that the prelude to revenge had already begun...
After the mysterious man disappeared, Rocco did not act rashly. He knew that Richard was now fully grown and surrounded by experts, and a head-on confrontation would undoubtedly be like an egg hitting a rock. He needed power, resources, and a place where he could hide and secretly accumulate strength.
"Damn, this body is too weak!" Rocot cursed in a low voice and struggled to get up from the ground. The original owner of this experimental body seemed to have suffered inhuman torture. There was not a single intact piece of skin on his body, and it exuded a disgusting stench.
"Cough, cough..." Roccod covered his mouth and coughed violently, a fishy-sweet taste rising in his throat. He looked around and found himself in a dark and damp alley. Not far away came the pungent smell of rotting garbage.
"What a disgusting world..." Roccod frowned in disgust, resisting the discomfort in his body and walked deeper into the alley. He needed to find a safe place to treat his injuries before he could start his revenge plan.
Just then, a burst of hurried footsteps came from the alley, accompanied by a woman's scream: "Help! Robbery!"
Rocot stopped and frowned slightly. He didn't want to meddle in other people's business, but the woman's voice reminded him of someone - his sister, Lilith.
Back then, it was because of his negligence that Lilith was kidnapped and murdered, and he fell into deep self-blame and pain.
"Damn it!" Rocot cursed inwardly, clenched his fists, turned and walked towards the alley.
At the alley entrance, a thin woman was being cornered by two ruffians, shivering. The woman had a pretty face, but now it was filled with fear and despair, with tears streaming down her eyes.
"Hey, little girl, just come with us and we promise to make you feel comfortable..." One of the thugs with dyed yellow hair said dirty words while reaching out to touch the woman's face.
"Get away! Don't touch me!" the woman screamed, trying desperately to dodge the yellow-haired man's dirty hands.
"You stinky bitch, if you don't accept my toast, you'll have to drink for me!" Seeing this, another burly thug flew into a rage and raised his large hand like a palm-leaf fan and slapped the woman in the face.
"boom!"
There was a dull thud, and before the burly gangster could react, he flew backwards like a kite with a broken string, and fell heavily to the ground with a scream.
"Who?!" Seeing this, the yellow-haired man was immediately shocked and quickly turned his head to look behind him.
I saw a tall man in black who appeared at the entrance of the alley at some point, holding a black pistol in his hand, with smoke coming out of the muzzle.
"You... who are you?" The yellow-haired man looked at the man in front of him who exuded a cold murderous aura. He was so scared that his legs went weak and he began to stutter.
Roccod ignored the yellow-haired man and walked straight to the woman, looking down at her and asked in a cold tone, "Are you okay?"
The woman raised her head and looked at the lifesaver who suddenly appeared in front of her, her eyes full of gratitude and confusion. She opened her mouth and wanted to say something, but her throat seemed to be blocked by something and no sound came out.
"I..." The woman took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down, but her voice was still trembling. "I'm fine, thank you for saving me..."
"You're welcome." Rocot interrupted her coldly, "I just don't want to see anyone running wild on my territory."
"Your territory?" The woman was stunned for a moment and looked at Rocot with some confusion.
Rokod didn't explain, but turned to look at the burly thug who was still lying on the ground wailing, with a cold light in his eyes. He raised his foot and stepped on the burly thug's chest mercilessly, and asked in a grim tone: "Tell me, who sent you here?"
