Rocot: Reborn

Chapter 155

Roccod turned his head sharply and looked at the entrance of the cafe, where a tall woman stood, wearing a tight black leather jacket that outlined her exquisite curves. The woman was wearing a pair of sunglasses, covering most of her face, but from the slightly raised corners of her mouth, Roccod still detected a hint of playful smile.

"Long time no see, Rocot, maybe I should call you... the King of the Night?" The woman took off her sunglasses, revealing a pair of charming peach blossom eyes, with a hint of teasing and provocation in her eyes.

Rocot narrowed his eyes slightly, and a cold arc appeared at the corner of his mouth. "Who did I think it was? It turned out to be you, bitch. Why did old Richard send you here as a lobbyist?"

The woman chuckled, twisted her snake-like waist and walked to sit opposite Roccod. Her slender fingers tapped the table lightly, making a "tapping" sound, as if tapping on Roccod's heart. "Lobbyist? You think too highly of him. Just based on him, do you think I am worthy of being a lobbyist?"

"Then what are you doing here? Are you here to laugh at me? Or do you want to avenge your old lover?" Luo Kede's tone was cold and his eyes were full of mockery.

"Revenge? Just you? If you hadn't been so soft-hearted back then, the Williams family would have been uprooted by you. How could we be here today? Do you think they will let you go if you fake your death and escape? That's ridiculous!" There was a hint of disdain in the woman's tone, but a complex emotion flashed in the depths of her eyes.

Hearing this, a cold light flashed in Rokod's eyes, and he sneered, "Why, are you heartbroken? I was blind back then to believe a vicious woman like you. Do you think that if you come to remind me hypocritically now, I will be grateful and thankful to you?"

The woman's face changed, she stood up suddenly, pointed at Roccod's nose and cursed: "You..."

"Me what? Was what I said wrong? For your own benefit, you betrayed me, sold me out, and even sent me to hell with your own hands. Now why are you pretending to be a good guy?" Rocot hit back without showing any weakness, his tone full of anger and contempt.

"You...you are slandering me!" The woman was so angry that she was shaking all over, and her fingers were trembling as she pointed at Rocot.

"I'm slandering you? Do you dare look me in the eye and say it again?" Rocot stood up suddenly and approached the woman with a dangerous light in his eyes.

The woman was intimidated by Rocot's aura and subconsciously took a step back, her eyes flickering, not daring to look him in the eye.

"What? You don't dare anymore? A woman like you who is full of lies, do you think you are qualified to show off in front of me?" Rocot sneered, his eyes full of mockery.

"Locked, don't go too far!" the woman said gritting her teeth, her eyes full of resentment.

"I've gone too far? Shouldn't I be the one asking you this? If it weren't for that..."

"Enough!" The woman suddenly yelled, interrupting Rocot's words, "Do you think I'm willing to betray you? Do you think I'm willing to watch you being tortured to death by them?"

The woman's voice was full of pain and despair, and her eyes were slightly red, but she still tried hard not to let the tears fall.

"You deserve it!" Rocot said coldly, without a trace of mercy in his tone.

"Yes, I deserve it, I deserve to die, but...but I was forced to do it!" The woman finally couldn't hold back her tears, tears sliding down her cheeks like beads that had broken off the string.

"Being forced into a desperate situation? Ha, what a ridiculous reason!" A trace of disgust flashed in Rocot's eyes, and he turned around and prepared to leave.

"Lockold, wait a minute!" The woman suddenly rushed forward, grabbed Lockold's arm, and begged, "I know you hate me, but I beg you, for the sake of our past relationship, let me go!"

Rocot stopped and looked down at the woman's hand that was holding his arm, a complicated look flashing in his eyes.

Roccod shook off the woman's hand in disgust, as if he had touched something dirty. "Friendship? You still have the nerve to talk to me about friendship? When you betrayed me, why didn't you think about the friendship between us?"

The woman staggered a few steps and nearly fell to the ground. She looked at him with tears in her eyes and choked up, "Lockold, I beg you, I really know I was wrong. Please give me another chance for the sake of our past relationship!"

"Opportunity? What do you think opportunity is? A cheap item that can be trampled on and thrown away at will?" Rocot looked down at her with mockery in his eyes, "I tell you, you ruined it with your own hands, so don't dream of it now."

"No, that's not the case. Let me explain..." The woman wanted to explain, but was interrupted impatiently by Rocot.

"That's enough! I don't want to listen to your hypocritical lies anymore." Roccod looked at her coldly, "Go away, get out of my sight before I change my mind!"

The woman collapsed on the ground in despair, tears blurring her makeup and her vision. She knew that she had completely lost Rocot, and also lost her last glimmer of hope.

Rocot ignored her and strode out of the room. The woman behind him seemed to have her soul taken away, leaving only an empty shell, curled up on the ground helplessly, letting despair swallow her.

After leaving the room, Rocot went straight to the rooftop terrace. The night breeze blew away the remaining anger on his face, but it could not blow away the hatred that had accumulated in his heart for many years.

"Lockold, are you really going to be so heartless?" A deep voice came from behind him.

Roccod turned around and saw a tall figure standing in the night. He couldn't see the face clearly, but he couldn't ignore the strong sense of oppression.

"Who are you?" Rocot asked warily.

"You don't need to know who I am, you just need to know that I can help you." The man's voice was full of temptation, "I can help you take back everything you have lost, and even make you the master of this world, as long as you are willing to pay the price."

Roccod narrowed his eyes, his heart filled with doubt and vigilance. He didn't know who this mysterious man who suddenly appeared was, nor did he know what his purpose was, but he couldn't suppress his curiosity and desire.

"What's the price?" Rocot asked, with a barely perceptible tremor in his voice.

"It's very simple. Submit to me, become my sharp blade, and remove all obstacles for me." The man's voice was like a whisper from hell, full of bewitching magic.

Rocot was silent, he was weighing the pros and cons and struggling. He knew that once he agreed to the other party's request, it would be like selling his soul to the devil, but he had nothing left, what else was there to lose?

"Why should I believe you?" Rocot asked, trying to hide his inner hesitation.

"You don't have to believe me, but you should believe in your own ambition." The man chuckled. "Are you willing to be manipulated by fate and be at the mercy of others?"

Rocot clenched his fists, his nails digging deep into his flesh, but he did not feel any pain. His heart was in turmoil, and the flame of desire was burning fiercely, almost swallowing him up.

"I can give you everything you want, power, wealth, strength, and even... revenge." The man continued to seduce, as if he could see through Rocot's deepest desire.

Roccod took a deep breath, suppressed the turmoil in his heart, and asked, "What do I need to do?"

"It's simple. Kill Richard and announce your return to the world." The man's voice was full of temptation. "I will help you reach the pinnacle of power and make those who betrayed you pay the price they deserve!"

A fierce light flashed in Roccod's eyes, the flame of revenge burning in his eyes. He raised his head suddenly, looked at the mysterious man, and said word by word: "Okay, I promise you!"
