Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 342: Corroded by the Black Mist

Once, Harry was fighting a huge eight-eyed giant spider. This creature was extremely ferocious and fast, and Harry had to concentrate all his attention to avoid its attacks. His heart was full of tension, but every dodge and counterattack made him more flexible and agile.

"Flying sand and rocks!" Harry shouted, and a powerful spell hit the giant spider, knocking it back several meters. But the giant spider quickly counterattacked, and Harry immediately cast a protective spell, wrapping himself in a magical barrier.

"Harry, you can do it!" he said to himself in his heart, "You have become stronger, just keep going."

Finally, after a fierce battle, Harry successfully defeated the giant spider. He stood there panting, feeling an unprecedented sense of accomplishment and confidence. He knew that he was growing and becoming more resilient and powerful.

In the next few days, Harry continued to carry out various training in the Forbidden Forest. He constantly challenged his limits, faced various magical creatures and environments, and gradually mastered many advanced magic skills and combat strategies. His heart was full of hope and faith. He believed that as long as he kept working hard, he would be able to defeat August.

One night, Harry sat under an ancient tree, looking at the twinkling stars in the night sky, feeling a sense of peace and satisfaction in his heart. He knew that the training during this period of time made him more mature and powerful. He closed his eyes and recalled every battle and challenge he had in the Forbidden Forest. Every success and failure made him more determined in his beliefs.

"Harry." A familiar voice pulled him out of his thoughts. Harry opened his eyes and saw Hermione and Ron standing not far away, with concerned and relieved smiles on their faces.

"We came to see you," Hermione said, with a hint of warmth in her voice. "You've been training here for a long time, and we've been worried about you."

"Thank you." Harry said gratefully. He stood up and walked towards his friends. "This period of training has taught me a lot and made me stronger. I think I am now strong enough to face August."

Ron patted Harry's shoulder and smiled, "We always believe in you, Harry. You are the strongest among us, and we will always support you."

"Yes, we face all challenges together," Hermione added, a determined gleam in her eyes.

Harry felt a strong power and support, he knew, with the company and trust of these friends, he would be able to overcome any difficulties and enemies. They left the forbidden forest together and returned to Hogwarts to make final preparations for the upcoming battle.

In the following days, Harry and his friends continued to study and enhance the power of the crystal source, and constantly honed their magic skills. They knew that the final decisive battle was coming, but they were full of confidence and hope.

Harry frowned and looked at the dancing flames: "We have to find out what happened. If this situation continues, everyone will fall into panic."

Hermione nodded in agreement, "Yes, I have looked through many books on the history of Hogwarts, but I can't find any similar records. We have to start our investigation from the beginning."

Ron seemed a little hesitant: "But, this kind of thing should be handled by the teachers, right?"

Harry said firmly: "But we can't do nothing. Professor Dumbledore is not here, and Professor McGonagall and the other professors seem helpless. We are part of Hogwarts, and we have a responsibility to protect this place."

Over the next few days, Harry, Hermione and Ron conducted a secret investigation and discovered that these events seemed to be related to some powerful dark magic. Even more surprising was that this magic seemed to be quietly growing in a hidden corner of the campus.

One night, the three of them decided to go to the forbidden forest to look for clues. Deep in the forbidden forest, there are many unsolved mysteries and dangerous creatures. The moonlight casts mottled shadows through the leaves of the dense forest, and the surroundings are so quiet that it makes people feel uneasy.

Harry, who was walking in the front, suddenly stopped and whispered, "Did you hear that? It seems like there is something around us."

Hermione gripped her wand nervously, "Yes, I heard that too. We have to be careful."

Ron tried to calm down, but his voice was still trembling: "Whatever it is, we must be prepared to face it."

They continued to move forward slowly and cautiously, and soon they saw a glowing rune array in an open space. In the center of the rune array, a black mist was slowly surging, as if it had life.

"This must be the place we're looking for," said Harry, "but we have to find out what this is all about."

Hermione quickly analyzed the structure of the rune array: "This is an ancient dark magic array, possibly some kind of seal or summoning array. We have to handle it with caution."

Just as they were trying to crack the rune array, suddenly, a vague figure appeared in the black fog. It was a wizard in a black robe with a strange smile on his face.

"Haha, it's you, Harry Potter," the black-robed wizard said coldly, "You will never be able to stop me."

Harry looked at the other person warily: "Who are you? Why are you doing these tricks in Hogwarts?"

The black-robed wizard laughed: "I am Cyrus Knox, a former Hogwarts student and now a master of the dark arts. I came back to complete my revenge."

Harry gripped his wand tightly: "No matter what your intention is, we will never let you succeed."

Knox looked at them with contempt: "You kids don't understand the power of black magic. Now that you have found this place, stay here forever!"

Before he finished speaking, the black mist suddenly turned into countless black tentacles and attacked Harry, Hermione and Ron. They quickly dodged and fought back with magic, but the black mist seemed endless.

Harry fought hard, thinking of a countermeasure in his mind: "This is not a solution, we must find the source and destroy the rune array!"

Hermione nodded: "I have seen some clues, but it will take more time."

Ron continued to cast protective spells to protect them from being eroded by the black fog: "I will try my best to buy time!"

With their cooperation, Hermione finally cracked the core of the rune array, and the black fog suddenly lost its power and gradually dissipated. Knox's face changed, and he shouted angrily: "You little brats, how dare you ruin my plan!"

Harry said calmly: "Hogwarts will never be invaded by darkness. Your plot will not succeed."
