The freshmen followed Professor McGonagall's steps closely and entered the Hogwarts Great Hall.

Harry Potter walked onto the stage trembling, his hand tightly grasping the brim of the Sorting Hat.

After that, the Sorting Hat read out loud:

"Gryffindor!"

In an instant, the entire auditorium exploded with thunderous applause. Gryffindor students stood up one after another, waving their napkins and cheering for the new student.

"Students, welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!" Dumbledore's loud voice echoed in the hall.
