HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts
Chapter 5 Hogwarts Express
In the blink of an eye, autumn has quietly brought the start of school.
In the bustling King's Cross Station, Lucius stared at his son Draco, his eyes full of love and expectation.
He leaned over, put his hands on Draco's shoulders, and said earnestly: "When you get to school, you must listen to your sister, understand?"
Draco nodded seriously, his eyes firm to show that he would do it.
"And the most important thing is to protect your sister." Lucius emphasized his tone, with a serious look in his eyes.
He patted Draco's shoulder, a trace of relief flashed in his eyes, and he smiled and said, "I believe my little dragon will do well."
After saying that, she hugged Draco tightly.
Narcissa on the side hugged Cygnus tightly, tears in her eyes.
After all, Cygnus and Draco have never been separated from her since they were born. This time they have to be separated for such a long time and have to wait until Christmas to see them, which makes her feel reluctant.
Cygnus patted Narcissa's back gently and said to her comfortingly, "Don't worry, mother. We will be back soon."
Draco also came over. He stood on tiptoe, kissed Narcissa's cheek, and said in an innocent voice, "Mom, we will take good care of ourselves, don't worry."
After saying this, he even straightened his chest, trying to make himself appear more mature and reliable.
He never left his parents' side, but luckily Cygnus would be there for him.
Lucius put his arm around Narcissa's waist and pulled her close, letting her lean against his broad chest.
"When children grow up, they will have to be independent one day. We have to believe in them, they will do well."
Narcissa nodded gently and wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes. She tried to force a smile and said, "Yes, fortunately Cygnus did not go to school in the distant Beauxbatons, otherwise I really don't know what to do."
She held Lucius' hand tightly, as if it was her only support.
Lucius stroked Narcissa's hair gently, his eyes full of love.
He bent his head and kissed her forehead gently.
At this time, Lucius turned his gaze to Cygnus, his eyes full of tenderness.
He knew very well that as the eldest daughter in the family, Segnus had always been responsible for taking care of her younger brother. Now that she was leaving her parents, she was nervous and uneasy.
He stepped forward, gently held Cygnus's hand, and said in a gentle tone:
"When you get to Hogwarts, you must take good care of yourself, understand? If you get into trouble, write to me. Remember, you are the eldest daughter of the Malfoy family and have the right to go home at any time."
Upon hearing this, a trace of gratitude flashed in Segnus' eyes. She nodded vigorously, indicating that she would remember her father's words.
Holding Draco's hand, Cygnus boarded the Hogwarts Express and walked into the Malfoy's exclusive luxury compartment.
The box is richly decorated with soft sofas and golden wall lamps, which show the nobility of the Malfoy family everywhere.
After the two sat down, Cygnus patted Draco's hand gently and comforted him, "Don't worry, everything will be fine."
They put their luggage away and looked outside. The platform was bustling with people coming and going.
Their parents stood on the platform, waving goodbye to them.
Narcissa wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes from time to time, while Lucius kept smiling, trying to reassure the two children.
Draco was sobbing, tears welling up in his eyes, his little hands tightly grasping the edge of the window.
He tried to hold back his tears, not wanting to appear weak in front of his sister.
And Cygnus was not affected by Draco at all.
"Going to school, I never thought I'd have this day in my life."
She thought silently in her heart, but a sly smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.
Thinking back to those days, she always envied her younger brothers who went to study at the Imperial Academy, while she could only stay in the cold palace.
At that time, the queen mother was still alive, but she was out of favor, and that man ignored her.
Segnus knew that it was hard to survive at that time, so going to school? That was simply a fantasy.
But now, she is not satisfied with just surviving.
Segnus has great ambitions in her heart. She wants to arm herself with intelligence and thoughtfulness. This school is just the first step in her plan.
At this moment, the door of the box was pushed open forcefully, and Bryce swaggered in with Theodore.
Brace was dressed in a gorgeous robe, and his demeanor was full of confidence and flamboyance, while Theodore was much more restrained, holding a thick book of spells in his arms, with his black hair blocking his eyes, looking a bit bookish.
As Theodore walked in, his eyes lit up the moment he saw Segnus. He smiled slightly and nodded gently to greet her.
As soon as Bryce arrived, he lay carelessly on Segnus' legs, like a big golden retriever, which made Segnus laugh and cry.
When Draco saw this scene, he immediately glared at Blaise with dissatisfaction. He pursed his lips, frowned, and clenched his little hands into fists.
He stepped forward and smacked Blaise's shoulder hard, trying to push him off his sister's legs.
"Hey, Blaise, could you be a little polite?" Draco frowned and spoke in a somewhat aggressive tone.
Blaise just chuckled, patted Draco on the head nonchalantly, and said, "Don't be so stingy, Draco, we are all friends."
Segnus couldn't help laughing as she watched the two bickering. She patted Blaise's head gently, motioning him to get up.
"Okay, Brace, stop it, Theodore, you can sit down too." Segnus said with a smile.
Theodore nodded and sat down opposite Sensenas, placing the spell collection on his knees and glancing at Sensenas from time to time.
Cygnus looked at the noisy boys in the box and suddenly thought of Pansy and Daphne. She asked curiously, "Where are Pansy and Daphne? Why can't I see them?"
Theodore, who had been silent all this time, raised his head slightly, shifted his gaze away from the spell collection, and answered softly:
"They said they were worried that there wouldn't be enough seats in the private rooms, so they would meet us after getting off the train."
Segnus nodded in understanding.
Blaise's eyes suddenly lit up, as if he remembered some explosive news. He leaned forward and said to Draco in a low voice:
"I heard a piece of news. Did you know that Harry Potter is also on this train?"
There was a hint of mystery in his tone.
Hearing this name, Draco couldn't help but roll his eyes and said with some disdain: "Huh, I know, and I became good friends with him."
As he spoke, he deliberately puffed out his chest with a smug look on his face.
Suddenly, the door of the private room was gently pushed open, and a little witch with brown curly hair hurried in, her eyes scanning the surroundings anxiously.
Seeing that everyone was there, she seemed relieved, but then became nervous again.
"Excuse me, have you seen a toad?"
The little witch's voice was trembling. She seemed really anxious. "Neville's pet toad is missing. We have been looking for it for a long time but couldn't find it."
The moment she saw Segnus clearly, her eyes widened involuntarily, and she was obviously shocked by Segnus.
She stood there in a daze, and for a moment she even forgot what she was going to say.
I thought to myself that Segnus was so beautiful that I couldn't help but want to be friends with her.
However, she felt that an ordinary witch like herself might not be worthy of the young lady's attention.
Draco's face was so gloomy that water could drip from it. He crossed his arms over his chest and stared at the little witch who had intruded without permission with dissatisfaction. The corners of his mouth drooped and he blurted out a complaint:
"Really? It's so rude to not even say hello when you come in."
Segnus raised her lips slightly, a gentle and cunning smile bloomed on her face
Cygnus smiled slightly, patted Draco's shoulder gently, and said softly, "Draco, be gentle with girls."
She turned her head, looked at the little witch with soft eyes, and smiled: "I am Segnus Malfoy, nice to meet you. I didn't see any toads, but I can help you find them."
The little witch's nervous expression relaxed a little after hearing this. She looked at Segnus gratefully and replied:
"Thank you, Cygnus. My name is Hermione Granger, and I'm Neville's friend."
Cygnus nodded, then looked around the box and whispered the flying spell: "Neville's toad is coming!"
As she chanted the spell, Neville's toad crossed the long corridor and landed accurately in her hands.
With a deft movement, Segnus grabbed the toad and handed it to Hermione.
Hermione took the toad and thanked him excitedly: "Thank you, Sensei! You are amazing!"
Cygnus looked at Hermione and smiled. She could feel that Hermione had a pure and strong soul.
This aura made her guess that Hermione's parents must be doctors or something like that, to be able to raise such a pure and kind girl.
Hermione hugged the toad tightly, her eyes full of gratitude.
She nodded to Cygnus and turned to leave.
When she reached the door, she suddenly stopped, looked back at Cygnus, and gave him a sincere smile.
"Signus, thank you so much. I hope we can still be friends in the future." Hermione's tone was full of anticipation.
Segnus smiled and nodded: "Of course, I am looking forward to it too."
Hermione's eyes sparkled with excitement as she gripped the door handle tightly and pushed the door of the box open.
As she left, she turned and waved goodbye to Cygnus.
Hermione's footsteps disappeared at the end, and Cygnus turned back to his seat, his expression becoming serious.
She looked at the boys in front of her and said in a low voice, "The head of the Greengrass family wants to marry Daphne to Marcus Flint."
"What?" Draco jumped up from his seat, his face full of disbelief, "Marcus Flint is a troll!"
Blaise also frowned, and shook his head quickly, saying with certainty, "Daphne would never want to do that. She's so smart, how could she possibly fall for a guy like Flint?"
Theodore listened silently without saying anything, but his eyes revealed his dissatisfaction with the marriage.
Segnus sighed and shook her head gently: "This is the sadness of pure-blood families. Profits are often more important than feelings. We must find a way to stop this."
At this time, Theot Nott, who had been silent all this time, finally spoke up, "So what should we do now?"
Although his voice was not loud, it was particularly clear in the quiet room.
Segnus smiled slightly, shook his head slowly, and said softly: "Now, we just have to wait, and you will understand later."
The knock on the door interrupted the silence in the room, and Draco roared impatiently.
"Come in!"
Neville Longbottom's flushed face poked through the crack in the door.
Neville looked at Sensenas cautiously and stammered, "I... I came to thank Sensenas."
His voice was so low that it was almost inaudible, and he was obviously in awe of the elegant little witch.
Cygnus smiled and said, "You must be Neville."
Hearing his name, Neville's face turned even redder. He lowered his head shyly, took out a box of cookies from his pocket, and stammered, "This... These are the cookies my grandma baked. I hope I can be friends with you."
Segnus took the biscuit considerately and said with a smile, "Then we will be friends from now on."
Her gentle voice comforted Neville, and his tension eased.
Neville nodded vigorously with trembling hands, as if cheering himself up in his heart.
Then he quickly turned around and fled out of the box.
His footsteps echoed in the corridor, revealing his inner nervousness and uneasiness.
Draco stared at the scene in front of him impatiently, his brows furrowed, as if two little bugs were dancing on his forehead.
He finally couldn't help it and muttered in a tone full of dissatisfaction: "Sister, why do you want to get involved with those pure-blood scum? That witch, oh my god, she is actually a mudblood!"
Cygnus turned her head and glared at Draco sharply, interrupting him:
"Draco, don't judge someone based on their background. If I became a Muggle, I might not be better than Hermione."
She paused, then added firmly, "We should look at a person's qualities and abilities, not their ancestry."
Draco pursed his lips. Although he disagreed in his heart, he did not refute his sister.
He turned his head and looked out the window, with a hint of dissatisfaction in his eyes.
At this time, Blaise came over and patted Segnus on the shoulder to show his support:
"You are right. People are diverse. We cannot lose the opportunity to appreciate the strengths of others because of prejudice." He looked at Draco with a smile, "Perhaps, that witch has strengths that we don't know about."
Theodore joined the conversation, nodding in agreement.
Segnus gently held Draco's hand, and Draco's emotions were relieved by his sister's comfort. His frown gradually relaxed and his eyes became soft.
"Okay, I'll try to accept it." There was still a hint of reluctance in Draco's voice, but more of a compromise.
Segnus smiled with satisfaction, she knew that her brother was kind deep down, but was blinded by some prejudice.
The train rumbled slowly into the night. The lights in the compartment were warm, shining on everyone's face, making it look particularly friendly.
As the train gradually approached the legendary Hogwarts Castle, Cygnus' eyes sparkled with a determined gleam.
