My Rebirth and the Strange Adventure of Black Zhen

Chapter 369 Joint Development Agreement between the Horde and the Alliance (Continued)

After the liberation of Ironforge, Turalyon and his comrades joined the Alliance without hesitation and successfully forced the Horde back to Blackrock Spire. This fierce battle brought heavy blows to both sides. On the battlefield filled with smoke, Turalyon witnessed a thrilling duel - a life-and-death contest between Lothar and the Horde Chieftain Doomhammer.

Faced with such a scene, Turalyon was extremely anxious and tried his best to rush to where they were, but he was surrounded by the orc camp and could hardly move forward. He could only watch as Doomhammer smashed the Stormwind Royal Sword with amazing power, and then swung the huge warhammer and hit Lothar's helmet hard.

When Turalyon reached the broken sword with difficulty, knelt down and came to Lothar's side, the arrogant laughter of the tribal chieftain and the prophecy of victory echoed in his ears: "I have won! All our enemies will perish! Until your entire world belongs to us!"

These words were like a revelation, awakening the long-dormant faith in Turalyon's heart. For months, he had been struggling to wield the power of the Light as freely as Uther or other paladins. However, at this moment, Doomhammer's arrogant declaration became the fuse that ignited his fighting spirit.

He could not understand how the Light could accept all creatures and all souls when there were such deformed, cruel, and purely evil beings like the Horde orcs walking the world. However, Orgrim's words enlightened him: the orcs did not belong in this world. Turalyon interpreted this phenomenon as: the Light accepted every life in Azeroth, but those who did not belong here - such as orcs - were not included in its scope of tolerance. At this point, Turalyon regained his firm belief in the faith, and the haze in his heart dissipated. He became wise again. He held Lothar's broken sword in his hand, and resolutely knocked out Doomhammer and disarmed him. At this moment, the Holy Light surrounding Turalyon blinded the orcs around him, and they had to retreat. Not only that, the powerful power emerging from Turalyon's body even dyed the black stone around him white. Later, Turalyon and other paladins began to reorganize the Alliance army, while the Horde orcs fell into deep fear and panic. Some orcs continued to fight, some chose to surrender, and some tried to flee the battlefield.

After this thrilling battle came to an end, the command of the Alliance army was naturally handed over to Lothar's adjutant, Turalyon. Everyone firmly believed that this young, promising, wise and brave general was fully qualified to take on this important task. Especially Uther, when he saw that Turalyon finally strengthened his beliefs and no longer felt confused and hesitant about the future, his heart was filled with endless relief.

In recognition of Turalyon's outstanding achievements and his heroic performance in the war, the Alliance officially awarded this respected elder Paladin the supreme honor of "Lightbringer". This title not only represents honor and respect, but also symbolizes that his spirit will always illuminate the way forward for the Alliance.

As the battle was lost, the Horde had to retreat step by step, and finally retreated to the Swamp of Sorrows and the Dark Portal. However, under the wise leadership of Turalyon, the Alliance army pursued the victory and destroyed the Dark Portal connecting the world of Azeroth and the continent of Draenor in one fell swoop - this was also the only way for the orcs to return to their homeland. The Orc Horde, which lost its support and was in constant internal strife, eventually fell apart in the face of the powerful military force of the Alliance. At this point, the threat posed by the Horde was completely eliminated.

In order to prevent the orcs from making a comeback, the Alliance established several heavily guarded internment camps to hold captured orcs and began to rebuild the kingdoms that were devastated and shattered in the war. At the same time, Turalyon led his people back to the once destroyed Stormwind City. Just a few months after returning to the ruins, Turalyon and Khadgar once again set foot on the land of the Burning Plains to admire the majestic sculpture erected to commemorate the great Sir Lothar.

Standing in front of the statue, the two stared at it silently, with a lot of emotion in their hearts. This statue witnessed the birth and death of countless heroes, and also engraved that magnificent history. At this moment, they seemed to hear Sir Lothar whispering in their ears, encouraging them to keep moving forward and protect this beloved land.

Years later, General Turalyon accepted the commission of Terenas Menethil II and began to form an Alliance expedition (later named the Sons of Lothar). This powerful army passed through the rebuilt Dark Portal and set out on a journey to distant Draenor. There, they discovered that an orc shaman was trying to use an artifact full of mysterious power to open multiple portals, giving the Horde the opportunity to invade other worlds.

When the Alliance expedition arrived in Outland, Turalyon immediately reunited with Alleria Windrunner and repaired their relationship. Afterwards, they launched an attack on Hellfire Citadel without hesitation. Unfortunately, the cunning Ner'zhul had already taken the opportunity to escape. While they were fully pursuing the crazy shaman who fled with the Skull of Gul'dan, Deathwing was secretly planning a bigger conspiracy.

Since closing the portal requires the power of the Skull of Gul'dan, the Alliance had to split up. Khadgar, Turalyon, and Alleria led a part of the force to deal with the threat of the black dragon lurking in the dark; on the other hand, Danath Trollbane, Alleria's rangers, and the brave Wildhammer dwarves continued to pursue, determined to bring Ner'zhul to justice.

During the journey full of hardships and dangers, Turalyon and his brave friends resolutely plunged into a thrilling battle - to aid the tribes composed of Gronn and ogres to resist the horrifying threat of Deathwing. In this life-and-death contest with the black dragon army, they fought bloody battles and sacrificed their lives, and finally successfully recovered the vital skull and caught up with the army led by General Danath to siege the Black Temple in time.

However, despite the Alliance's best efforts, they were unable to stop Ner'zhul from opening the portal and escaping. As the chaotic energies unleashed by the portal ran wild, the entire planet was in danger of falling apart. In this critical moment, the courage and selflessness of the paladins stepped forward to assist Archmage Khadgar in closing the Dark Portal from Draenor. As Draenor began to fall apart before their eyes, Turalyon did not hesitate to lead the remaining Alliance expedition through a mysterious portal in search of a safe place to hide.

This terrible disaster eventually turned Draenor into a shattered ruin of Outland, and Turalyon, Alleria, Khadgar, Danath and other Alliance forces returned to Draenor without hesitation. They knew that only here could they continue to protect Azeroth and prevent it from being affected by the destruction of Draenor.

After a brief investigation, Turalyon and his friends returned to Honor Hold. This solid fortress still stood firm despite the catastrophe, like a monument standing on the ruins of Draenor.

On the other side of the world, the Alliance built a huge statue of Turalyon in Stormwind City's Valley of Heroes to commemorate this great hero. Here, the leaders of the expedition gathered around him, as if they were always with him. In the statue, Turalyon held the broken greatsword inherited from Lothar, pointing forward firmly, as if guiding the Alliance in the direction of victory.

It is worth mentioning that Thoras was also one of the human leaders who participated in the creation of the Alliance of Lordaeron. He was not only a close friend of King Terenas, but also because of the close connection between him and the Kingdom of Lordaeron, he readily agreed to join the Alliance. When the Second War broke out, the Kingdom of Stromgarde did not hesitate to send half of its domestic troops to the Alliance army. Thoras knew that in order to curb the threat posed by the orcs, this battle was imperative!

Genn Greymane actually did not intend to form this coalition at the beginning, after all, no one knew how the future would develop. However, under the strong persuasion of Thoras and his good friend Admiral Proudmoore, Genn finally made concessions and decided to work together to build an alliance.

Unfortunately, the Kingdom of Stromgarde has not had many opportunities to show its true military strength. Half of their army (not with Lothar's army) is fully engaged in resisting the Horde attack from the dwarven kingdom of Khaz Modan: this place has long been occupied by the old Horde led by Black Fang. Facing such a fierce offensive, the Kingdom of Stromgarde has been under great pressure and suffered considerable losses. Although they lost the fortress in Tol Barad, they still did not retreat and continued to fight tenaciously. They once tried to ambush Cho'gall, but unfortunately they were unsuccessful.

In order to continue attacking the elven kingdom of Quel'Thalas, the Horde racked its brains and tried every means to defeat the Kingdom of Stromgarde. During the fierce battle of the Siege of Lordaeron, Trollbane personally led his army to the Alterac Mountains in an attempt to cut off the Horde's reinforcement route and successfully joined forces with General Haas.

After a thorough investigation, General Haas finally confirmed that Perenolde had betrayed the alliance. However, unexpectedly, Perenolde chose to join Trollbane's army and fight alongside them to resist the enemies surging out of the mountains. They fought desperately to prevent the entire tribe from pouring into the capital of Lordaeron like a tide.

As the Alliance continued to make progress in the south, Thoras resolutely decided to hand over a powerful Stromgarde army to his nephew, Danath Trollbane. This brave and fearless army had an important mission: they had to march forward bravely and recapture the Khaz Modan region occupied by the enemy.

After two years of arduous war, victory finally came. After the war, Solas and other kings gathered in Nethergarde to discuss a crucial issue: the Dark Portal seemed to have started to show abnormal activities again. Faced with this grim situation, everyone must work together to formulate a response strategy.

After returning to the capital, Thoras and Terenas immediately received a visit from the goblin Krix Wiklish. The goblin brought a mysterious trade proposal that aroused the two kings' great interest. After the goblin left, they immediately invited Muradin Bronzebeard and Daval Prestor to discuss matters related to Alterac and Lord Pinored. At this critical moment, every decision may affect the future direction of the country.

Thoras then attended religious affairs in the capital. After the fall of Alterac and the revelation of their dealings with the orcs, Thoras Trollbane prayed to King Terenas to give the eastern territories of Alterac to the Kingdom of Stromgarde in return for the risks taken and the lives of the soldiers sacrificed in the war. A few years later, Thoras personally attended the ceremony in Stormwind City to celebrate Arthas's ordination as a paladin.

However, when the Second War ended with the defeat of the orcs, most of the exhausted orcs were locked up in internment camps. However, Trollbane expressed extremely strong opposition to this internment policy. In his opinion, the orcs still posed a huge danger. So he had a heated debate with Terenas, but the two sides could not reach a consensus, which led to a deep rift between them. What's worse is that in order to maintain the normal operation of these orc shelters, huge financial costs must be invested, which directly leads to an increasing tax burden. Many former allies believe that they should withdraw from the alliance in time so that their kingdoms can develop better.

After the High Elves withdrew from the Alliance, Gilneas and Stormwind also withdrew from the Alliance. [Several years before the Third War, Trollbane was disappointed by the Kingdom of Lordaeron's refusal to execute a large number of orcs in internment camps, and withdrew his aid to the Alliance.

Sometime after this, Thoras was murdered by his son Galen. Although Galen succeeded in his plan to kill his father and his king, Thoras realized before his death that Galen was the murderer, and Galen also realized that his father knew about his true murder. [5] Thoras's body was buried in the Trollbane Family Crypt, and Prince Galen succeeded him as the ruler of Stromgarde.
