My Rebirth and the Strange Adventure of Black Zhen
Chapter 333: Black Zhen's Hands Rub the Medieval Singularity (Part )
The love between Malfurion Stormrage and Tyrande Whisperwind, which has grown stronger over the past thousand years, is well known to everyone. This deep love is like the brightest star in the night sky, shining with eternal light; it is also like the gurgling spring in the mountains, endless and long-lasting. Their love story is like an epic poem, which has been passed down by the world for a long time.
Although Malfurion Stormrage was extremely intelligent - something that Maiev, the leader of the night elf race guardian, had never doubted - Maiev, the leader of the night elf race guardian, knew that telling Malfurion Stormrage the truth would only waste time.
He would still save his possibly dead Tyrande Whisperwind first, rather than hunting down Illidan Stormrage.
Illidan Stormrage is a threat to the entire world.
Steal the artifact Sargeras' Eye from the Tomb of Sargeras, and use the artifact Sargeras' Eye in the ruins of Dalaran to cast magic that affects the entire world of Azeroth.
With the help of the magical Eye of Sargeras, Illidan Stormrage was able to destroy the Frozen Throne in the northern continent of Northrend.
But the price was that multiple continents in the entire world of Azeroth began to tear apart.
Just like ten thousand years ago, when the Well of Eternity exploded, that huge continent was torn apart.
The tearing of the continent made the spirits of nature restless, and the Kingdom of Lordaeron, which had already suffered from the Scourge of the Undead, was on the verge of destruction.
In addition, Illidan Stormrage had been in conflict with the Burning Legion as early as ten thousand years ago, which indirectly caused the younger brother of Maiev, the leader of the guardian of the night elves, to be seriously injured.
Ten thousand years later, in order to find the magical Eye of Sargeras, Illidan Stormrage buried Nasha, a good friend of Maiev, the leader of the guardian of the night elves, in the Tomb of Sargeras, which was on the verge of collapse.
Even the best-tempered people will resent each other.
Maiev, leader of the night elf race, has a personal dislike for Illidan Stormrage.
Combining the righteousness of the world of Azeroth and the desire for revenge against Illidan Stormrage, Maiev, the leader of the guardian of the night elves, wished she could keep nagging Illidan until he died.
Then, Maiev, the leader of the night elf race, told Malfurion that Tyrande had been killed by the Scourge. She blamed Illidan for Tyrande's death. To Maiev's relief, the desire for revenge revived the grief of Malfurion, just like Maiev herself. Illidan wanted to pay for his blood debt.
Soon, the guardian leader of the night elves, Maiev, Malfurion Stormrage, and the blood elf prince Kael'thas Sunstrider surrounded Illidan Stormrage.
When Illidan Stormrage's magic was interrupted, he began his protest and defense of his innocence, but Maiev, the leader of the guardian of the night elves, simply did not listen.
Maiev, leader of the guardian of the night elves, sentenced him to death on the spot and prepared to execute him immediately.
Unfortunately, Tyrande Whisperwind's fate suddenly had a glimmer of hope at that moment.
When the blood elf prince Kael'thas Sunstrider told the truth, Illidan Stormrage cunningly offered to help Malfurion Stormrage rescue Tyrande Whisperwind.
Malfurion Stormrage could not refuse the help of the naga and their evil master Illidan Stormrage, and Malfurion Stormrage vented all his worries and anger on Maiev, the leader of the guardian of the night elves, rather than on Illidan Stormrage.
Otherwise, the shadow elf troops who are not accustomed to water will not be able to rescue Tyrande Whisperwind who is besieged by the Undead Scourge in the area where rivers intersect in a short period of time.
Malfurion Stormrage, who placed the life of Tyrande Whisperwind above all else, made his choice.
Malfurion Stormrage summoned roots from the ground, bound Maiev, the leader of the guardian of the night elves, tightly, and then went to find Tyrande with Illidan Stormrage.
Maiev, leader of the night elf race defenders, freed herself from the entanglement of vegetation and rallied the remaining warriors, which took long enough for Illidan Stormrage to rescue Tyrande Whisperwind.
When Maiev, the leader of the guardian of the night elves, arrived, she witnessed Malfurion Stormrage and Tyrande Whisperwind bidding farewell to Illidan Stormrage with deep affection.
Malfurion Stormrage used the excuse that Illidan had saved his wife to expel Illidan again.
Malfurion Stormrage first expelled Illidan Stormrage ten thousand years ago.
Malfurion Stormrage and Illidan Stormrage were exempted from the guilt of having once served the Burning Legion by virtue of their brotherhood.
Illidan Stormrage was a demon who slaughtered innocents, spread corruption and madness among the beasts of the forest, and nearly brought Azeroth to its knees. Jarod gave Malfurion the responsibility of dealing with Illidan, but he let the demon go - only because he saved Tyrande's life.
It was clear that Malfurion felt that Illidan had paid the blood debt he owed, but Maiev disagreed. The Watchers were dead, betrayed by their own leaders. If those leaders would not even pay for their blood debt, then, in the name of the Moon Goddess, Maiev was determined to do it herself.
So when Illidan suddenly opened a portal and stepped through, Maiev and her warriors followed without hesitation, because she knew that Illidan was very reluctant to risk his life.
Coming out of the portal, Maiev and her warriors found themselves on a shattered planet in Outland. They soon discovered that Illidan was the only one who had come to Outland, having left his naga servants behind in Azeroth. Outnumbered, Illidan found that his own evil powers were no match for cold weapons, and he was easily captured.
Everything was going too well, but as Maiev was returning to her base with the caged demon, she was attacked. The naga arrived in Outland, bringing new allies with them: the blood elves that Maiev had helped fight the Scourge. Maiev and her warriors fought against the naga and their betrayed blood elf allies, but the new combined forces were too numerous and they were ultimately defeated. The naga and the blood elves recaptured Illidan and set him free.
Illidan and his allies have had little contact with Azeroth. His brief return to Azeroth and his defeat by Arthas Menethil is well known, but Maiev's ultimate fate is unknown. Since tracking Illidan to Outland, she and her companions have never been seen in Azeroth. Given her obsessive hatred for Illidan, his presence is clearly a bad omen for her. Perhaps she is dead, killed in her quest for revenge.
However, not long after, Maiev Shadowsong was found in a prison in Outland. It turned out that she was captured by Illidan and his allies while hunting Illidan in Outland, and was imprisoned in a secret prison outside the Black Temple, guarded by a group of kind-hearted Ashtongue Sworn. Later, the blood elves left Illidan because Illidan could not satisfy their desire for magic, and Illidan transferred the Naga away from his side, which gave Maiev the opportunity to fight back. In the end, Maiev and Akama joined forces to defeat Illidan and kill him, fulfilling their long-cherished wish of revenge.
Ten thousand years ago, Tyrande Whisperwind grew up with Malfurion Stormrage and Illidan Stormrage as childhood friends. One day, Malfurion heard several legends about a secluded forest demigod. Although the night elves had long lost interest in nature, Malfurion still had a deep respect for the natural world. He told Illidan and Tyrande about the legend of Cenarius. The three night elves thought that finding the demigod would be an interesting adventure, although they actually did not believe in the existence of Cenarius like their own people.
The trio were stunned when Cenarius emerged from the shadows of the bushes and interrupted their pleasant conversation. Cenarius offered to teach them the ways of druidry. They eagerly accepted the offer. Malfurion was a fast-moving and talented student, but his brother was clumsy and growing impatient. For her part, she would gladly accept any knowledge Cenarius could offer, but she was already an apprentice priestess of the Sisterhood of Elune, and her devotion to the goddess meant that she could no longer worship any other gods. Malfurion continued his training as a druid alone.
Invasion and war
Before Malfurion achieved his spiritual advancement, he was troubled by a dream. He saw the Highborne abusing the magic of the Well of Eternity in their palace, and he was powerless to stop it. This dream convinced him that if no one stopped Queen Azshara and her high-ranking sorcerers, they would cause a great disaster. Malfurion told his thoughts to Cenarius, who was also concerned about this.
However, by the time the night elves realized what was happening, it was too late. Demons swarmed from the royal palace and began slaughtering all who stood in their way, and the War of the Ancients began.
When Illidan learned that Malfurion had been his rival for Tyrande's affections, he was plunged into pain and depression. The priestess had already realized that she needed to choose one of the brothers as her mate, and Illidan accused her of having already made her choice: Malfurion. She was stunned, and then she realized that Illidan was right.
Prisoner of the Burning Legion
As the war progressed, a group of satyrs led by Lord Xavius kidnapped Tyrande from the battlefield and imprisoned her in the palace. Because of the protection of the goddess Elune, Tyrande was protected from harm, so the demons could not torture the high priestess as they expected. Out of curiosity, Azshara and one of her maids, Lady Vashj, met with Tyrande. Perhaps Tyrande's connection with Elune impressed the queen. In any case, the queen asked Tyrande to be her maid.
Tyrande politely replied that she could only believe in Elune from the beginning, and thus politely rejected her offer. The Queen was dissatisfied but left soon afterwards, but Vashj soon returned and tried to kill Tyrande but failed. Vashj irrationally believed that Tyrande would take away the Queen's favor from her.
Escape from Zin-Azshari
Dath'Remar Sunstrider also met with Tyrande and began to trust her. A large group of Highborne had begun to become dissatisfied. The Burning Legion seemed to believe that they had gained sole control of the Well of Eternity, and they had the Highborne working around the clock, even cutting off their food and shelter so that more demons could be summoned to Azeroth. Their agreement with Sargeras had brought no reward, and they felt that there might never be any.
Hope supported Tyrande, and she encouraged Dath'Remar as much as she could. One night he came to her cell and told her that the rebellious Highborne were about to flee the palace. He would help her escape and hoped that she would advocate for their interests to the remaining night elves, knowing that their own people would see them as traitors.
She readily agreed, as she felt that Dath'Remar and his rebels deserved one more chance. As they flew away from the city, she was abducted by a Doomguard and carried into the air. Although she would have died without the power of flight, she pushed him off in midair and allowed herself to fall to the ground. An unexpected spell slowed her down to the ground: Illidan had saved her.
dangerous situation
Illidan brought Tyrande to the Well of Eternity, where he planned to cast a spell that would reverse the portal Sargeras was trying to use to reach Azeroth. Tyrande was not interested in this crazy idea, but Illidan would not listen to her advice.
Malfurion and other heroes soon arrived, interrupting the argument between Tyrande and Illidan. The night elves and their allies managed to close the portal. Unfortunately, the magic of the Well of Eternity had been seriously polluted during the war, and closing the portal put a huge pressure on the Well of Eternity. The Well of Eternity exploded, forming the Cataclysm. Ancient Kalimdor broke into several new continents and formed new oceans. The cold sea water drove away the remaining night elves and their allies, and before the huge flood receded, they could only move forward along the only way to Mount Hyjal.
After the Well of Eternity exploded, it lost its original power, and the night elves could no longer live forever. Illidan created a second Well of Eternity on the top of Mount Hyjal without regard for the consequences. The leader of the night elves, Lord Commander Jarod Shadowsong, gave the right to judge Illidan to Malfurion. Malfurion did not dare to let his twin brother recklessly seize power, so Malfurion sentenced his brother to be imprisoned forever.
The Night Elves' Split
After the war, Malfurion and Tyrande came to terms with their love. Their deep love comforted each other during the long quest to rebuild the social order of the night elven. Tyrande Whisperwind, now High Priestess and Malfurion's partner, instituted a major reform in night elven society. She created a new all-female military unit called the Sentinels and decreed that they would be directly affiliated with the Sisterhood of Elune. Nobility and magic were now considered corrupt and shameful relics of the past.
