Hogwarts: Atypical Slytherin

Chapter 208 (Interrogation 3) (Page 12)

"Professor Dumbledore asked me to..." The young man's voice sounded from the other end. Before he could finish speaking, his tone of doubt turned into a strong rainstorm, "What are you doing?"

As soon as Harry Potter entered Dean Slytherin's office, he saw a scene that made him angry: "Snape! Let her go!"

"Perhaps you should know what respect is!" Professor Snape shook off the cloth on his hand. "Ten points from Gryffindor for disrespecting the professor, Mr. Potter."

"We were just talking, Harry." Crowney looked at the boy apologetically, as points had been deducted for their frequent interactions, "Sorry."

She straightened her collar and roughly understood Dumbledore's intention.

"You have to wait a moment." She walked to Harry's side, "The situation is a little complicated now..."

Harry finally didn't focus only on Claudia this time. He found Peter Pettigrew, who was trapped on a stool and slumped like a corpse.

Professor Lupine said something to him again. When he just walked in the direction of Harry Potter, Dumbledore appeared in the office holding a man.

The man was wearing a pillory, and his hands were wrapped in chains, as were his feet.

The black leather buckle passed through the ball six, and then galloped behind Sirius' head, controlling his messy hair. Not long after Sirius had just switched back from the animal state, he very sensitively felt another uncomfortable and scrutinizing gaze mixed with surprise, disdain or anger.

His eyes slid along the feeling and saw the owner with raised eyebrows.

Dumbledore didn't give him any time to be distracted. Just when he was still thinking about the meaning of that unclear look, Dumbledore's cold hand accidentally touched the side of his face.

Immediately afterwards, the instrument of torture fell with a clanging sound. The metal connection made a loud sound as it hit the ground.

"Sorry." He said, "There were too many people just now. If you want to negotiate with them, it will take more time."

"It's nothing, Albus." Sirius shook his head, "I should thank you."

Who is this?

Harry squinted his eyes, not recognizing who the radiant and handsome man in front of him was for a while, but it didn't take long for him to match the scrawny murderer in the newspaper who was yelling at the camera.

The pupils of his eyes stood up in a straight line, looking a bit like a snake glaring eagerly: "Sirius Black?!"

He took out his wand from his pocket and cast the spell very quickly: "How dare you!"

But another spell lit up from behind him, and Harry turned around angrily and saw the person he trusted most who was being protected behind him.

Claonia Albert interrupted his spellcasting.

"Wait! Harry!"

"Why?" Harry felt his anger rising from the soles of his feet: Dumbledore was on the side, and he caught Black! But why did you let him go again?

Clowney too? Why?

He felt a little like crying again.

The only person he trusts the most————

"Why did you stop me?!"

"Harry, the truth and us..." Clooney was about to explain to him, but her small voice was quickly covered by another breathless voice.

"I really don't understand!" A thick-toned boy came out of the door with a loud voice like thunder, interrupting everyone's ongoing actions.

Harry turned his head unhappily and saw another face that often appeared in newspapers: "I was thinking of coming back later, Albus!"

"But I heard them say you took our criminals away?"

Minister of Magic Fudge, while wiping the sweat that fell like a waterfall on his head with a white handkerchief, he tried to make himself look less embarrassed.

Apparition was not allowed in Hogwarts, so he could only teleport nearby and then rush to the office slowly.

Perhaps Professor Dumbledore didn't plan to be in the Headmaster's Office because he wanted to take care of the Minister of Magic who had come all the way? Going downstairs is always better than climbing up the winding stairs.

He was startled when he saw Blake who was not restrained by anything, and his reaction was similar to Harry's. It is not a pleasant experience to look up and be in the same room with a vicious murderer who is being counted, safe and sound, without any containment measures.

Fudge subconsciously pulled out his wand and began to regret not asking the officials originally stationed to come with him. He cursed Albus Dumbledore a hundred times in his mind.

"Wait, wait, minister." Dumbledore pressed his palm down, not receiving Fudge's signal of dissatisfaction. "You need to give us some time."

He pointed to the short, fat man tied to a wooden stool beside him: "Maybe you want to take a look at this guy first?"

Fudge followed his finger and saw a shuddering face: "Peter Pettigrew?"

"This is why I hope you can come here in person." Dumbledore smiled and looked at Harry, "Of course, there is you, Harry."

The boy held by Crowney was standing beside Miss Albert, glaring at the criminal who killed his parents. He was indeed waiting for an explanation.

"We have all made some mistakes." Dumbledore motioned for everyone to sit down, as if preparing for a small hearing.

He shook the bottle of Veritaserum: "Peter had taken Veritaserum before you came - and so had Sirius."

"After you understand everything, you can take these two away first." Dumbledore said, "After the effect period is over, you can ask again."

Fudge stared into Dumbledore's eyes for a while, then sighed in resignation.

"You know, Albus, I never refuse a pinch," Fudge replied glibly.

The Minister of Magic walked slowly to Dumbledore's side, seemingly wanting to show his confident side. But just as Sirius was about to turn around and meet his former friend, he stood up on tiptoes like a rat passing by the living room in fear, and quickly turned in front of Dumbledore.

This was really funny, and Claudine couldn't help but laugh.

Poor Peter Pettigrew, he had to take an overdose of Veritaserum in one go in order for it to be ineffective in front of the Minister of Magic.

There's no harm in doing this, but it just makes the truth come out more quickly.

The inquiry led by Fudge went quickly. The Minister of Magic in charge almost completely reproduced their previous questions in full view of everyone.

But it's a little different.

Fudge held his wand horizontally in front of him, grasped each end of the wooden object with his fingers, and felt around on it.

"What should I ask?"

"Perhaps..." Dumbledore responded gently to his questioning gaze, "We can start with the 'Big Bang' first?"

"Oh, yes, yes, you're right, Albus." Fudge nodded and coughed twice.
