Hogwarts: Atypical Slytherin

Chapter 207 Interrogation (2) (Page 13)

The old man and the young man walked to the entrance of the cave, and Black could only see the girl put her hand on Dumbledore's wrist familiarly, and then disappeared.

This time they returned to the castle.

They moved directly to Snape's door like a ghost. The guard snake was startled again.

Since it was the principal of this school who scared her, she had no choice but to turn her back angrily.

The portrait refused to communicate, or she hadn't thought that the principal still needed her to report, leaving them with their big tails wagging around.

The door opened silently, as if the people inside had been waiting for a long time.

She met the others in Professor Snape's private office. Of course, she had met him before.

Lupine nodded politely to her.

"So, what's going on?" Professor Snape's brows were furrowed, as if he didn't want to interact with the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at all.

"Wait a moment." Dumbledore nodded and motioned for Clooney to start taking action.

Walking up the cellar and passing the naughty stairs, Clooney met the inseparable little lions outside the classroom.

"Ron, did you bring Scabbers to class today?"

She smiled gently, but the first thing she did was not say hello to Harry, but actually ask about Ron's mice.

"Yes." Ron is a good boy, at least he will not reject him when faced with effective methods. He does cherish his little mouse friend and doesn't want him to "die young."

Even so, he felt very at ease with his older companion. He decisively took out the old yellow mouse with one missing toe from his bag. "Yes, Claudine, I listen to you and I always keep it close by."

"Even so, Crookshanks didn't stop attacking him!" Ron glanced at Hermione again and complained.

"Can I borrow him for a while?"

Ron nodded: "Of course! Staying at your place - Black is better than Crookshanks!"

Clooney reached out his hand and took Scabbers from Ron's hand.

Scabbers stayed safely in Miss Albert's closed palms. Here, he did not need to worry about the attacks of vicious dogs that broke into the school: who would have thought that his hiding place was in Slytherin's dormitory?

But when he carried him to the corner of the cellar, he saw someone he never wanted to see again in his life.

The joy of escaping disappeared when he saw the white beard and the eyes that could see through almost everything behind the lenses.

Dumbledore turned his attention to Claudine's hand.

Lupine also saw them. He was still confused after being notified at the short notice. Similarly, he actually thought that his furry little problem had encountered another obstacle.

But seeing the true identity of the mouse on Miss Albert's hand, his eyes involuntarily moved to the mouse's toes.

It obviously saw his gaze, stopped struggling, and worked hard to put its paws into Clooney's fingers.

"Peter?" Lupine asked in surprise, "What is going on?"

It seems that they still know each other and are familiar with each other. After all, few people can identify whether an animal is a wizard or it is an animal only through its Animagus.

Clooney raised his eyebrows but made no comment.

"It's like this." Dumbledore explained easily, "We all agree that this matter needs to be witnessed."

"A very, very important event," he said.

But as soon as he finished speaking, the mouse in Clooney's hand flew to the wooden bench that had been placed in the center of the office for some time.

Dumbledore pointed his wand at it indifferently: "Transformation stopped."

The mouse struggled in fear, but to no avail.

A face that didn't look like a human at all grew bigger and bigger from the mouse's body. After a while, a fat, round man sat on the stool.

He was shaking now.

"This, this, this, this..." he said, "Ah, Albus!!...I mean...Professor Dumbledore..."

"Long time no see, Peter." Dumbledore's tone did not change at all. He asked softly, "Why did you become a mouse?"

The little loving Peter was trembling, and he found Snape with a sinister expression behind him, and an old friend with a surprised face: Remus Lupin.

This made him tremble even more.

"You're not dead?" Professor Luping didn't look as happy as a friend reunited after a long separation, and there was an awkward emotion in his brows.

What is he struggling with?

Peter Pettigrew did not dare to look at Snape's face. He seemed to be hiding something. Defeat at the hands of an underage wizard is not a glorious thing. If the person in front of him now was not the greatest white wizard in history, of course he would try his best to get revenge on her——

but...

"I'm just, I'm just too scared..." Scabbers's rat-like face was pale, and his lips were visibly trembling up and down.

Before he even started asking questions, his appearance to the audience had already changed from a great hero to a...person to be determined.

Compared to Sirius Black, he certainly didn't look at all calm.

Crowney crossed his arms and folded them in front of his chest.

"I, I'm just afraid of being retaliated by them! And then kill! Professor Dumbledore!" he said, "Why are you tying me up? Right?"

"Of course, of course, Peter," Dumbledore said gently, "but you ran away in fear when you saw me. We need to talk."

"No one can hurt you by my side..." The sharp light flashing through his crescent-like eyes made Peter unable to hide. He also tried to deal with it for a while, leaving himself a little chance.

But Clowney didn't have that much patience.

She snorted and shook the Veritaserum in her hand.

This time Snape knew what they were going to do. But he has to be involved again: a despicable plunderer, the most useless follower... known as... a hero... What secret does he have?

As soon as Dumbledore took the potion, Snape took it away.

"Only a few drops," he said in a low voice, "don't waste it."

As he approached, Pettigrew began to struggle crazily, his fat body bouncing hard on the wooden bench like a fish on a chopping board. He fell off the stool and was stuck back again by some unknown spell that Snape used.

"No..." he said, "You shouldn't do this...to a hero!!"

They remained silent for a long time.

"Don't do this... don't do this, Severus! I beg you!!"

Snape's strong fingers restrained his erratic jaw. Of course, he also discovered the abnormality of this former "hero".

"If you waste my expensive medicine..." he said sinisterly, "I will let you make up for it. Peter."
