HP: Embrace the Darkness
Chapter 909 Extra - Vacation and Weight Loss
As usual, we don’t follow the timeline, this is considered daily.
-
After a busy semester, it’s finally time for vacation.
After announcing the score rankings of the four major colleges, the "diligent" Headmaster Snape didn't want to face these students whose brains seemed to be ravaged by slugs for even a second. He directly announced a holiday and left in his black robe.
Everyone stared at him as he left, not quite used to a holiday without a long speech as the start signal. But they reacted the next second and burst into deafening cheers, and the auditorium suddenly became lively.
Snape walked quickly, and only a lingering echo of the cheers reached him, but he could still hear the excitement clearly.
Are you that happy?
Snape suddenly stopped, his face so gloomy that it seemed as if water could drip out.
The thought that he would have to go back during the holidays to mark those shitty test papers, while the students who caused all this were still so happy, made the "small-minded" Principal Snape feel a little unbalanced.
Thinking that he didn't have to worry about too much debt, Principal Snape simply turned back and gave the cheering students a holiday paper.
Three articles per person.
Snape felt relieved after hearing the wailing behind him. Just as he was about to leave, he turned around and saw Aces standing not far away waiting for him.
Headmaster Snape was caught in the act of torturing students, but he was not nervous at all. "Didn't you have something to do today? Why are you here?"
"Of course, I'm here to pick up our principal and take him home. By the way..."
A student came over, and Athis smiled and took Snape's hand and walked to the corner.
"By the way, let me report on the progress of my work. The test papers have been corrected and the results have been sent out. They will receive their results as soon as they return home. Now, your vacation begins."
The surprise came too suddenly. Snape was stunned for a few seconds before he reacted. His eyes suddenly lit up, like a lit torch, bursting with blazing light.
Now that the shitty test paper has been graded, he doesn’t have to face mental pollution anymore!
Thanks Merlin!
The black robe fluttered quietly due to the excitement of its owner, and inadvertently, it hooked onto the trouser leg of the man opposite.
Athis lowered his eyes, and recalled his previous awe and doubts about the black robe of the Potions Master. He couldn't help laughing, and then, just like he did in the past, he extended his hand to Snape gracefully.
"So now, shall we go home?"
"Well, go home."
Snape, with an unconscious smile on his face, took Aces' hand.
In a flash of light, both of them disappeared.
Professor McGonagall and Professor Sprout, who had just heard the sound and walked over, were left looking at each other.
"Isn't Severus going to mark the papers?" Professor McGonagall, who was truly dedicated and focused on her work, asked a soul-searching question.
Sprout was envious and relieved, "I think... maybe someone completed the task for him."
……
At the beginning of the holiday, when everyone was in love, Aces and Snape did not live in Cavendish Manor for fear of leading the children astray, but moved into Prince Manor instead.
There were only two of them here, so there was no need to worry about anyone disturbing them.
Without the annoying test papers and essays, Snape's holiday life was quite comfortable.
Every morning, sleep until you wake up naturally.
If Ases doesn't have important work that day, he will get up with him, have breakfast, and spend a wonderful day with him.
If Ases had work, when he got up, his breakfast would be placed in the dining room with a warming spell.
There is usually a note next to the breakfast, on which is a message from Ases trying to persuade him to eat breakfast.
After all, when he was alone, the Potions Master didn't like to waste time on breakfast.
Of course, that's not the point.
The point is, after breakfast, he can stay in the potions room all day and no one will bother him!
This is the two-way journey between the Potions Master and the Potions Room.
If a potion master remembered to come out for lunch at noon, Athis might even give him a touching compliment.
Today, it was obvious that Ases had work and was not seen early in the morning.
Snape, who was holding an empty bed, felt the temperature of the quilt beside him and found it was freezing cold. He confirmed with regret that Athis had no time to accompany him today.
In the dining room, Snape ate a hearty breakfast while thinking about how to improve yesterday's failed experiment, and occasionally wrestled with a problem.
They stayed up so late yesterday, so how did Ases manage to get up early in the morning, prepare breakfast, and go to work?
Is he just that energetic?
Snape poked at the steak on the plate and couldn't help pinching his stomach.
The feel...is quite soft.
He has lived too comfortably in recent years and has not exercised much.
Although I didn't gain weight, I gained weight visibly.
On the other hand, Ases has been training for so many years, and his muscles are textbook-beautiful when he exerts force.
Is this the reason why Ases is so energetic?
Snape frowned, feeling a little unhappy when thinking about his final sleep last night.
Is there such a big difference in their physical strength? Yes, that bastard is younger than him, but it still seems a bit embarrassing.
Snape cut off a piece of steak angrily.
I have to say that Ases's mindless praise over the years has been very useful.
At least the Potions Master's first reaction was embarrassment, rather than worrying about the difference in age and physical strength between the two.
The humiliated Potions Master made a solemn announcement after Ases returned.
……
On the sofa, Aces hugged Snape with a strange look in his eyes.
"Sev, if I understand correctly, you mean to work out with me?"
Snape glanced at him sideways. "Why? No way?"
"It's not impossible, but Sif... you have to know that my training is more... more physical and combat-oriented, and it's easy to get injured."
Asseth was as tactful as possible.
Putting aside his magic power, the Potions Master's strength and reaction ability are stronger than most people. However, in close combat, physical strength and reaction can only be regarded as icing on the cake, and are by no means the key to victory. Moreover, melee combat is different from the wizard's long-range attacks. Even if he lets go, he cannot guarantee absolute safety.
If he doesn't dare to guarantee it, others will dare not to do so even more.
Snape was not a person who overestimated his own abilities. Hearing the worry in Ases's words, he hesitated for a few seconds and took a step back: "Then I'll go and take a look first."
"Okay, I'm planning to go back to the manor tomorrow, so let's go back together. It's a good opportunity to see Alois and Albert. They'll be very happy to know you're coming back."
The next day, the two returned to Cavendish Manor early and had breakfast.
It was only seven o'clock. Alois and Albert did not wake up so early. Aethel and Snape did not disturb them. They said hello to Anna and William and went out for a walk.
The two of them walked all the way to the training ground. It was still early and the training ground had not yet opened. Ases took the key to open the door, waved his hand to open all the windows, and took the physical training clothes to change into. Snape found a place to sit down and prepared to study his future training plan.
On the other side, there was a person who was suffering from sleeplessness.
Gavin stayed up all night last night to complete a task and originally planned to take a nap, but when he lay down on the bed he was too excited to fall asleep.
After tossing and turning for half an hour, he gave up, resigned himself to his fate, got up, changed his clothes, and went out for a morning run to release the energy brought by the adrenaline.
Passing by the training ground, the training ground, which opened a full hour earlier, caught his attention. He turned and ran towards the training ground.
When he ran to the training ground and saw Ases flexing his wrist inside, Gavin slammed on the brakes and turned around to run.
It was early in the morning and he didn't want to be beaten!
And he felt sleepy.
But he came at a very coincidental time. Ases had just finished warming up and was looking around to find someone to practice with him. When he ran, Ases noticed him.
"Why are you running? Come and fight with me for a few moves."
Gavin turned his head too quickly and Ases didn't see his face, but those who could appear on the training ground were all our own people, everyone was the same.
Gavin stopped in despair, then turned around with despair. He was wrong. He shouldn't have stepped out of the room today.
Is it the pillow or the bed that doesn't smell good? Why does he torture himself?
As Gavin turned around, Ases could see his face clearly.
"Hmm? Gavin? I remember you were on a mission last night? When did you come back? Why did you get up so early? Aren't you tired?"
The young master knew that he was on a mission last night!
Gavin's eyes widened, he couldn't believe what he heard. After a few seconds, he remembered to answer Ases.
"I came back an hour ago. I couldn't sleep so I got up to run... I'm not tired."
"You can't run even if you're not tired. And you're running all night. Do you want to live? Go back and rest." Ases waved his hand to send him away.
Gavin's eyes widened even wider, as if they were going to pop out of their sockets. He looked fierce to begin with, and when he glared, he looked even fiercer.
But his unconscious movements broke this sense of ferocity.
I saw him grabbing the clothes with his hands hanging at his sides and tossing them hard, tossing the front and then the back. The clothes were wrinkled after he tore them.
A burly man of about 1.9 meters in height demonstrated to the two people on the spot what it meant to be so moved that one was at a loss for words.
But Gavin really couldn't control his surging regret.
They would report when they received a mission, but with so many people reporting, Ases actually remembered his mission time and even cared about whether he was tired and asked him to go back and rest.
Damn, what was he doing just now! ?
Isn't it just practicing with the young master?
What's so scary!
That's the young master, the young master who will remember the time when he goes on a mission. What's the big deal about sacrificing a little sleep time! So what if he gets beaten up! At most, he will be a brave man again in 18 years.
Gavin successfully brainwashed himself. He held his breath and walked towards Ases, with an imposing manner like the wind whistling and the water cold as the wind.
"Master, I will fight with you!"
He almost shouted this sentence to encourage himself.
Ases subconsciously took two steps back, looked at Snape, and asked with his eyes: Did he say something wrong?
Snape received the signal and shook his head in an indescribable manner: he didn't think so.
That would be strange.
Ases looked at Gavin suspiciously, wondering if his brain had been ruined by staying up late.
Gavin didn't understand what was going on and thought that Ases was about to attack. He took a deep breath, raised his hands and got ready, and shouted, "Master, I'm ready. You don't have to... show mercy."
He said it with difficulty and determination.
Because he saw Snape.
The young master appeared at the same time as Mr. Snape, who rarely appeared in the training ground.
This shows what! ?
Of course, it means that the young master wants to shine in front of Mr. Snape.
So! What should a subordinate do?
Of course, the purpose is to fully demonstrate the young master's strength in all aspects.
If he wants to show his full range, then Ases must not let up at all, so Gavin will be prepared to be beaten in advance.
The more Gavin thought about it, the more excited he became. He stared at Ases with burning eyes, just waiting for Ases to make a move.
For the first time, Ases felt that he couldn't keep up with Gavin's thinking, but since Gavin wanted to fight, he naturally wouldn't refuse. However, for Gavin's sake, he still had to set a few rules:
"Without a referee, the winner will be determined by who falls to the ground first. Lack of sleep will cause distraction and mental confusion. I will be careful. If you feel that you can't do it anymore, call a halt immediately. Do you understand?"
Gavin shouted, "I understand!"
Seeing that Gavin did not make any moves except shouting, Ases knew that Gavin would not take action first, so he raised his hand and punched him.
Gavin dodged sideways, grabbed Ases' wrist with one hand and chopped at his elbow with the other.
Normally, this move should be aimed at the neck, but now we are not risking our lives, so we will naturally not attack the neck.
The next step is to attack the lower body.
Gavin raised his foot and swept horizontally. His movements were smooth and continuous without any flaws. If he had a different player on the opposite side, with both the chopping and sweeping movements, he might have lost. Unfortunately, the player on the opposite side was Ases.
Ases even had time to comment: "Your movements are slower than usual."
Before he finished speaking, Athis advanced instead of retreating, twisting his captured wrist outward, causing Gavin's arm to twist, avoiding the first move. Then, Athis fell to the ground, using his arm as a support point and a medium for transmitting force, and swung violently with the help of inertia -
Gavin flew into the air and landed heavily on the ground. Using this force, Ases quickly stood up and stepped on Gavin's knee. At the same time, his hands broke free from their restraints and he took control of Gavin's hands. He then twisted and folded them, and finally pinned Gavin to the ground, unable to move.
All this happened in just a few seconds, and Snape's worry in the audience fell to the ground before it even rose up.
Gavin woke up completely with a sharp pain. He screamed loudly: "Hand! Hand! Hand! It's going to break. Master, be gentle."
"I know my limits. Look, it's not broken, is it?" Ases laughed, let go of his hand, stepped back three steps, and calmly watched Gavin get up and cry while holding his elbow.
Gavin glanced at Ases with resentment.
How could his young master's 37-degree mouth say such cold words? It was almost spiraling 365 degrees, what's the difference between that and being broken.
The resentful look from the 1.9-meter-tall man was too destructive. Ases could not bear it. He coughed twice and defended himself: "I told you to go back and rest from the beginning."
It's you who didn't reply.
Gavin understood what Ases meant from his unfinished words and felt even more aggrieved.
Yes, I almost forgot that he asked for this beating.
"Okay, apply some medicine and go back to have a good rest. I'll give you three days of paid leave."
Aces's remaining conscience got in the way, and he gritted his teeth and gave Gavin a day off. Gavin's eyes widened again, and without waiting for Aces to urge him, he ran out and said goodbye: "See you next time, Mr. Snape, goodbye, young master."
As soon as Gavin left, only Athis and Snape were left in the training ground.
Asis was still thinking about how to persuade Snape to change his training method. Snape came over, grabbed his hand that had just been controlled and examined it carefully. When he saw no obvious scars, his cold expression relaxed.
“Be safe during training.”
"Okay." Aces disliked the smell of sweat on his body, waved his hand to clean himself up, and changed his clothes before hugging Snape, "Sev, do you still want to exercise?"
"I do." Snape said firmly, and then changed the subject, "But there is another way."
"What kind of change?" Ases asked curiously.
Snape curled his lips and chuckled, raised his hands to put his arms around Athis's shoulders, and moved closer and closer to him in his surprised eyes, and a light kiss fell provocatively on his rolling Adam's apple.
"Understood?"
"Understood!"
Athis grabbed Snape's neck, leaned over and kissed him, with magic floating around him.
The next second, the space twisted and the two people who were kissing disappeared out of thin air.
Inside the training ground, in an unnoticed corner, a book was blown open by the wind, and a page of news was turned, which said: Studies have shown that sex life has many benefits for human health, including but not limited to keeping fit...
