HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 85 The Marauder’s Map

"You know him?"

Snape suddenly asked, his eyes still looking at the direction Mellors left, his eyes unclear.

This new professor is very strange.

Aces turned his head and looked at him, feeling strange.

"No, Professor, I don't know him."

"But... he seems to know me?"

Hearing this, Snape looked away and sneered.

"I assume you know who you are?"

Artes understood what Snape meant and couldn't help teasing him.

"But isn't my status as a professor useless?"

"Hmph, you should be glad that you don't just have an identity."

Hearing the deep meaning in Snape's words, Artes was about to speak.

"gentlemen?"

Elise suddenly interrupted their communication.

"what happened?"

Assel paused for a moment, then turned to ask.

"Sir, I have something else to do. I'm leaving first."

She didn't know why she always felt like she shouldn't be here, so she asked to leave.

"Okay, you go."

After Asseth finished speaking, he looked at Snape again.

"Professor, are you free?"

Snape lowered his head slightly.

"If Mr. Asseth could use his magic-blocked brain, he should know that I am not you, the idle troll."

"Professor, can you use another adjective? I have nothing in common with the troll."

"I hope Mr. Asseth understands that you are just as... troublesome as the troll."

Snape spoke the last word slowly, then turned away.

Aces choked for a moment, and before he could reply, he saw the black robe tumbling and disappearing at the end of the corridor.

trouble? he?

Asseth couldn't equate this word with himself. After all, since he was a child, the most praised thing he heard was "worry-free".

But think carefully about what happened since he and Snape met.

Maybe he does seem a bit troublesome to the professor?

Asseth turned around and thought about this problem as he walked towards the Forbidden Forest.

Passing a corner, Ass's eyes suddenly became sharp.

He turned sideways to avoid the oncoming hand, his wand slipped into his palm, and he quickly raised it to point at the person who came.

"Fred? George?"

Aces barely stopped his counterattack.

The Weasley twins' eyes widened, staring blankly at Artes' smooth movements.

"Fred!"

"George!"

They suddenly turned to look at each other.

"I am not wrong, right."

Their eyes were bright, they jumped up and high-fived, saying in unison:

"This is so cool!"

Aces put away his wand and stood aside speechlessly watching the two cheering to themselves.

He waited until the two of them entered the next stage - a strange dance with no intention of stopping.

In the end, he couldn't help but interrupt them.

"Is your celebration over now?"

The red-haired twins stopped and looked at Ass with sudden realization, seeming to remember that there was someone else here.

The ignored Asseth took a deep breath, constantly reminding himself to maintain his noble demeanor.

"What do you want from me?"

After a while, he calmed down, smiled perfunctorily at the two of them, and asked them what their purpose was.

Fred and George looked at each other, and their eyes locked for a while.

In the end, George was slightly better and won.

His eyes flashed with excitement, he approached Asseth, lowered his voice, and said mysteriously:

"Aces, we found a treasure."

Aces didn't understand his strange behavior, but he continued it anyway.

"What baby?"

Fred and George looked around like thieves for a while. After confirming that no one was there, Fred took out a piece of parchment from his arms and handed it to Artes.

Aces raised his eyebrows, interested.

Based on his alchemy skills, he could naturally tell that the parchment in Fred's hand was not a simple parchment, but an alchemical product.

"Where did you get it?"

Asseth asked as he took the parchment.

"Borrowed it from Filch."

Seemingly thinking of Filch's furious face, the two laughed in unison.

"We found out it was a map covering all of Hogwarts."

"And, everyone in Hogwarts."

After hearing their words, Asseth carefully checked the parchment in his hand.

His inspection took a little long.

George couldn't help but poke Fred from behind and give him a look.

I'm afraid you're going to lose. Let me just say that Asseth can't see it.

Fred was a little regretful, but he didn't admit defeat with his hand. He poked it back so hard that George almost screamed.

Hey! It hurts!

George glared at Fred and stretched out his hand to fight back, but Fred quickly dodged his hand.

The two quarreled for a while, then they remembered that there was also Asseth.

Fred looked up, ready to introduce their findings to Asseth.

Then he was shocked to find that Asseth was raising his wand and preparing to light it on the parchment.

Merlin's briefs, maybe Artes couldn't figure out the secret of the map, so he got angry and prepared to destroy it!

Before Fred could stop him, he saw the wand had been touched on the parchment, and a map of Hogwarts gradually appeared on the parchment, with names constantly moving on it.

Merlin's thong!

Fred stretched out his hand dullly and patted George, pointing his finger to the opposite side, motioning him to look at Artes.

George followed Fred's hand and saw the map emerging.

"No! This is impossible."

George shook his head playfully, his voice full of disbelief.

Fred cooperated with him.

"It's just that incredible."

After Asseth finished studying the map, he looked up and was speechless by the performance of the two men.

He shook the map in his hand. The traces of the map gradually disappeared and soon turned back into a plain piece of parchment.

"Can you guys be a little... normal."

Asher paused and chose a more euphemistic word.

The two looked at each other and shook their heads in laughter.

"how did you do it."

George couldn't help but ask.

Fred also looked at Asseth expectantly.

Aces shook the parchment in his hand.

"You mean how I turned it into a map?"

Fred and George nodded.

"That's not how we found it to be opened."

Aces handed over the map and asked them to demonstrate it.

Fred took the map and said seriously: "I solemnly swear that I have evil intentions."

As soon as Fred finished speaking, a map of Hogwarts gradually appeared on the parchment.

When the map was completely revealed, Fred said again: "The prank is over."

Just like before, the traces of the map began to disappear until they were completely gone.

"That's it."

Fred handed the map to Asseth again.

"how did you do it?"

George asked again.

Ace picked up the map and explained it to them.

"This map is not a real alchemy product in essence. The maker used a little... shortcuts."

Aces thought about it for a while and decided to use the word shortcut. After all, in his opinion, it was indeed a shortcut.

"Shortcut? Does it matter?"

The two still didn't understand what Asseth meant and continued to ask.
