HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 839 Respect the old and love the young

After Snape left, the shadows behind the trees twisted, and suddenly a person walked out.

This man was dressed in black robes, similar to the attire of a Death Eater, except that he was missing a mask, and his face was covered by an invisible layer of smoke, making it difficult to see his true appearance.

If Asseth was here, he would definitely recognize that the clothes he wore were exactly the same as the ruthless man who was surrounded by law enforcement and blew up the British underground network nodes.

The ruthless man stood for a while, then turned around and merged into the darkness, looking in the direction to enter Malfoy Manor.

Standing on the second floor of Malfoy Manor, Voldemort seemed to feel something and turned around suddenly.

When he saw the person clearly, his pupils suddenly tightened, and he subconsciously raised his wand and pointed it at the uninvited guest without saying hello.

"you--"

Realizing that his reaction was too great, Voldemort put down his wand and looked at the other person coldly.

"Why are you here again?"

"I will give you five days at most. You will have an opportunity in three days, so take advantage of it."

Without saying a word, the uninvited guest disappeared again, leaving only Voldemort looking uncertainly at the place where he disappeared.

After a while, Voldemort had a dark snake face, raised his wand and touched the Dark Mark, urging Lucius to work, and called Dolohov by the way.

On the other side, Snape, who returned to Hogwarts, went straight to the principal's office.

Mrs. Lovelace coughed silently when she saw that the direction he was going was the principal's office.

Snape paused, knowing that this was a reminder. No longer willing to waste time, he stood still with a sullen face. He raised his hand, pressed against the wall, and used the principal's control over Hogwarts Castle to check the secret passages one by one.

This method is the simplest and fastest, but it consumes magic power. His face gradually turned pale. Before it turned white, he finally found the secret passage.

He leaned against the wall to slow down for a moment, then pretended to be fine and looked at Mrs. Lovelace who had not left.

"You want to come too?"

Mrs. Lovelace nodded helplessly.

"Follow me," Snape said concisely.

The two came to the entrance of the secret passage and quickly investigated the situation inside the secret passage.

Confirming that the secret passage leads to Honeydukes Candy Shop in Hogsmeade, Snape informed Lucius.

He did not need to participate in the rest of the matter. After talking to Mrs. Lovelace, he returned to the principal's office alone.

Because Asseth would come to the principal's office from time to time, for convenience and to ensure the privacy of the two of them, the portraits placed in the principal's office were usually covered with a layer of cloth and would only be opened when communication was needed.

Snape walked up to one of the portraits, lifted the cloth, and said, "Bring me a few words to Dumbledore."

The portrait nodded in agreement.

Snape continued: "He is looking for a secret passage into Hogwarts. I suspect that he is about to attack Hogwarts, and... he seems to be very anxious."

After hesitating for a while, Snape finally stated all his guesses.

"Probably since meeting Potter yesterday, he has become extremely impatient. He even secretly led a werewolf to severely damage the Ministry of Magic last night. I don't know the reason. Maybe I can ask Grindelwald."

"That much?" the portrait asked.

"That's all."

Snape nodded tiredly.

They came back from Hogsmeade yesterday, had a meeting in the evening, and had another meeting today. They met Voldemort twice in such a short period of time, and he spent an unusual amount of energy.

"Okay, I will bring the news to Albus." The portrait looked at Snape hesitantly, hesitated for a few seconds, and then said with concern, "You look very bad, young people should pay attention to rest."

After he finished speaking, he was prepared for Snape to scold him and say that he had a bad complexion, but he didn't expect that Snape just pulled his lips, thanked him politely, and turned around to leave.

Is this... a pervert?

The portrait left with full of doubts.

After bringing the news to Dumbledore, the portrait still couldn't understand it, so he deliberately told Dumbledore the whole story.

Dumbledore lowered his eyes silently, looking at the portrait with such a complicated expression that he was puzzled for a while.

"What's going on? Tell me! Don't keep playing riddle games with me. I'm not a student who is easy to fool like you."

Dumbledore looked up, "It's not that he has been reformed, it's that the love hidden in his heart has been dug out."

"What is love or not? Love can make him stop scolding someone? At most, it can make him stop scolding that person. And this is called double standards. Why can't you understand it as well as I can with a portrait?" The portrait obviously didn't believe it and hit the nail on the head. Give his opinion.

Dumbledore stopped explaining and waved away the gossiping portrait.

The portrait curled its lips and slipped away.

Grindelwald sat aside and remained silent. He waited until the portrait left and then sneered, "Al, do you really think he doesn't curse out of love? I saw that he showed no mercy when he mocked us."

"It's not your fault to mess with him."

Dumbledore glared at Grindelwald. He simply didn't know what to say about him. He was so old and yet he had to quarrel with a young man like Severus. The key was that he still couldn't fight.

He didn't understand, what would happen if Severus was allowed? The three Severus combined are not as old as them, so why don't you just love the younger ones? ?

"Why should I give in to him! He is young and reasonable, but I am still older! Why can't he respect me as an old man?"

Grindelwald refused to accept it and banged the table and shouted.

"I watched Artis grow up, and I watched him grow up. But he fell headlong into a deep pit like his, and he was an old cow eating young grass. Before I said anything, he actually I have the nerve to say that I tricked that kid, fart, how has Asses ever suffered a loss, even——”

A hand silently patted Grindelwald's shoulder. Grindelwald's voice stopped abruptly. He subconsciously picked up his wand, but was pressed down by another hand without a doubt.

"Gellert, look what I heard?"

Artes repeated Grindelwald's words with a half-smile, "Old Sev eats young grass? How do you know I didn't do it myself? And, have you really never tricked me? Gellert, you have to be conscientious." .”

Hearing the voice of Arthas, Grindelwald put away his wand and slapped his hand away in disgust.

"Go, go, keep a distance, lest someone blame me for bullying a child again."

"Don't be so weird." Artes sat down on the sofa next to him, smiled and nodded to Dumbledore who looked over, "Mr. Dumbledore."

Dumbledore smiled kindly in return.

Grindelwald was annoyed and interrupted the two of them from laughing.

"Am I yin and yang? You should really see what yin and yang is like in that precious professor of yours."

Aces pinched his brows and bent his long legs casually. His fatigue made him a little unenergetic, and his tone became calmer, creating a sense of distance for no reason.

"Why do you think you know Sev better than me? And, please allow me to correct your wording. Sev is not called yin and yang, it is called the art of language. Even Death Eaters can appreciate the artistic sense in it. Why can’t you appreciate it?”

Damn appreciation.

He was the one being scolded, and he admired it.

Grindelwald really wanted to slap away the unreasonable love brain in front of him.
