HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 653 Forced Swear

Aces is afraid.

Snape realized this immediately, his heart ached, but he did not soften.

He must not give up this opportunity - if Asses escapes this time, it will be even harder to find another opportunity.

Nothing can happen to Asseth, even if something happens to him, he will do whatever it takes to do this.

Ling Chi's knife struck hard at the soul, penetrating into the bones, cutting off the emotions and reason of the soul. Snape closed his eyes, groping for the chest where Ass' heartbeat was out of control, and pinched his chin with his other hand.

"Listen to me, Asseth."

Two pairs of black eyes looked at each other silently in the darkness.

Snape softened his tone and said almost coaxingly: "No one can guarantee that he will not have an accident. You can't, and neither can I. So just in case, I want your oath, no matter what happens to me in the future." Whatever happens, you will survive."

Aces said nothing.

The overwhelming love, anger, fear, and resentment pressed on his heart, and his lips, hands, and heart were trembling. He was speechless and could only tighten his lips to suppress the whine that was about to overflow his lips.

"Aces?"

Snee held Asseth's trembling and cold hand.

He held it tightly, as if he wanted to transfer some warmth in this way, but his hands were also cold. In the past, the person who warmed his hands was Asseth.

Grief spread in his heart, and Snape weakly put his head on Asseth's chest, listening to the messy heartbeat and rapid breathing in his ears like a masochist.

Even so, he ignored the dull pain in his heart and ordered sternly: "Give me your oath!"

Aces finally had a voice, numbly opening and closing his unconscious lips: "I...can't do it..."

It can't be done.

How could it not be done?

Why give up everything for someone like him.

Snape angrily grabbed Artes' collar, pulled him down forcefully, and threatened in a cold voice: "I'm not a good person, Artes, don't believe what I promised you. You'd better think carefully before answering."

The peach blossom eyes hidden in the darkness were penetrated by despair and fear, and bright red blood oozed from the corner where no one could see, and every word he spoke was bloody.

"You force...me?"

"Yes." Snape said firmly, "If you can't bear it, you can leave now and I won't stop you."

Aces stopped talking.

The bedroom fell into an eerie silence.

Snape suddenly felt uneasy, and regardless of the harsh words he just said, he raised his hand and touched forward.

He felt a little more at ease when he touched his still heaving chest, and couldn't help softening his tone again.

"Aces, I have never asked you for anything, except this time——"

"enough!"

"Count me in--"

"I've said enough!"

All the etiquette he had cultivated since childhood was thrown into the corner by Artes, and he was filled with anger and nowhere to vent. In his rage, he roughly pulled Snape's collar, grabbed the back of his neck and kissed him fiercely.

His teeth hit his lips hard and he bit them without pausing. The taste of rust instantly spread in his mouth, but no one cared about it now. Snape obeyed and opened his mouth, taking in all his anger, fear and anxiety.

As the kiss came to an end, Asses regained his senses a little and began to restrain his movements. The tip of his tongue swept across the mouth filled with the smell of blood, and his movements became lighter.

Snape didn't care about the pain. Instead, he nibbled on Arthas's lower lip, indicating that he could use force and that it didn't matter to him.

Naturally, Asseth did not continue to wreak havoc as Snape wanted. He swept away the last bit of the smell of blood, retracted the tip of his sweeping tongue with restraint, and withdrew.

"Sev, give me some time."

Snape licked his numb lips, as if he had not heard the words, and just said what he had not finished, "You put me at ease, please."

"How could you..." Artes lost his words and said in pain, "Why are you forcing me like this?"

"Sorry, Asseth, but I don't regret it."

Snape's voice was dry and low, which made Artes' chest feel a dull pain, and he clearly felt a shackle loosening deep in his heart.

He always had nothing to do with Snape, it was impossible to fight him, he was unwilling to scold him, he was not willing to even fight a cold war, he could only compromise without a bottom line.

There is no other way.

After all, the person who fell in love first had already lost the moment he fell in love. Asseth smiled mockingly to himself.

The lonely and numb laughter struck Snape's nerves that were stretched to the extreme, and then he heard Artes' rhetorical question that was almost mumbling to himself.

"What if something happens to me? If something happens to me, can you ask for your survival the same as you ask for me?"

When the same request is placed in front of me, I realize how difficult it is to fulfill it.

Snape felt the slightest regret for being forced just now, but he quickly strangled him with his own hands and said categorically: "Yes."

However, only he himself knows how much water there is in this "meeting".

"Yes?" Asseth thought of the black panther, "Is it really possible? Can you make the same oath?"

Snape was speechless for a moment.

Artes didn't wait for his answer and continued: "You can't, because you have always faced Voldemort with the mentality of embracing death. Am I right? Severus."

Snape knew that if he didn't take this oath, Artes wouldn't take it either.

He bit the wound on his lip hard, ignoring the resistance in his heart, and forced himself to swear clearly: "I promise to live for you."

Ace's heart felt colder than ever before.

He laughed miserably.

"You are really cruel, Sifu. I have never seen anyone more cruel than you. How can you swear on my name? You know that I am reluctant to let you go."

Snape listened to Arthur's words with self-abuse.

He knew he was in the wrong and forced Artes to do something he couldn't do. He also made the same oath and never gave Artes the possibility of choosing.

But he has no regrets.

Asses had already given up the brightest future for him, and he couldn't even give up his life.

"I'm very sorry……"

I'm still sorry, Asseth smiled sadly.

"Okay, I promise you, no matter what happens to you, I will survive. Is this enough?"

Snape should have been happy to get the answer he wanted, but no, instead, his mind was filled with the sound of Artes's mournful voice like a dying swan.

"Aces?"

Asseth turned over silently and said tiredly: "Go to sleep, tomorrow I will give you the oath you want, no matter what form it is."

The warmth that was close at hand was withdrawn without any warning. Snape's hand trembled, he raised it uneasily, and landed on Artes' shoulder blade from a little distance away. He asked in an unskilled manner, "Arces, You're angry?"

"...not angry." Asseth sighed, trying to maintain a less cold and aggressive tone, "Go to sleep, I just need some time to calm down."

How could he possibly sleep.

Snape pursed his lips helplessly, leaned forward tentatively, hugged Artes' waist like he had done before, and put his head between the shoulder blades.

"You can scold me."
