HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 61 Accidental Injury

Aces was keenly aware of the people following behind him.

Hearing their accelerated pace, Asseth's eyes sharpened, and he sidestepped to avoid several black-robed wizards who bumped into him.

He raised his hand and waved the wand, casting a few spells involuntarily.

The spell hit one of the wizards accurately, and the powerful impact pushed him away for a distance and fell heavily to the side of the road.

Seeing this scene, the other wizards hesitated.

"Get away if you don't want to die."

Aces lowered his voice and warned. The strong strength and ruthlessness of his attacks made them want to retreat.

They looked at each other and after confirming that Asses was not easy to mess with, they could only retreat with regret.

Seeing that they were quite sensible, Asseth did not pursue them, but took back his wand.

After Asseth finished showing off his muscles, there were far fewer eyes looking around.

Feeling the reduction of prying eyes, Asseth breathed a sigh of relief.

Although these glances do not cause any actual harm, they still make people feel uncomfortable, as if they are being stared at by a cold beast that doesn't know when it will bite you.

Aces tidied up his messy black robe and left the scene quickly.

Afterwards, Asseth kept silent and continued walking forward, watching the scenery along the way.

Suddenly, among the many black robes in front of him, a particularly distinctive black robe caught his attention.

He had only seen such a flowing black robe on one person.

The steps under his feet changed naturally and he walked towards that familiar figure.

Snape felt very unlucky today.

Have a great vacation without having to deal with those stupid and naughty trolls.

He could have been reading a book at home, or brewing his potion.

But all this was ruined by one person.

He still doesn't understand why that idiot Karkaroff asked him to meet.

And the damn old bee didn't know where he went today, and he couldn't find anyone to discuss it with him.

Snape's face was so gloomy that he could drip water. He impatiently put on his black robes and walked quickly towards Knockturn Alley.

Arriving at Knockturn Alley, Snape felt even more unlucky.

When he came to Knockturn Alley before, he obviously didn't meet so many idiots.

After fighting off his pursuer for the third time, Snape finally couldn't help but strike harder.

The idiot who dared to sneak up on him was beaten unconscious by his spell and lay on the ground.

Snape scoffed.

I hope he is lucky enough, otherwise it will be a question whether he can get out of Knockturn Alley alive.

No longer paying attention to the wizard lying on the ground, Snape continued to the agreed place.

After arriving at the appointed alley, Snape silently hid in the corner, waiting for Karkaroff.

However, Karkaroff never showed up.

Snape's patience gradually wore away in the endless waiting.

Did Karkaroff feed his brain to the troll?

If he didn't come again, he couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't poison him to death.

While waiting, footsteps came from behind Snape again.

Here comes another idiot who overestimates his abilities.

Snape raised his eyebrows, waiting impatiently for the owner of the footsteps to approach.

Footsteps quickly came behind him.

The moment the footsteps approached him, Snape drew his wand with his backhand.

"The divine edge has no shadow."

"professor?"

Shouts and spells collided.

The familiar figure made Snape's pupils suddenly tighten.

Damn it, it's Asseth.

But it's too late, the curse has been thrown out and cannot be taken back.

The distance between the two was not far, and Artes couldn't avoid Snape's curse for a while, so he could only try his best to turn sideways to avoid the fatal position.

The sound of the blade entering the body was particularly obvious in the alley.

Aces fell to the alley with a groan.

Seeing the stunned look in Asseth's eyes, Snape's heart tightened.

He pursed his lips in confusion, and just as he was about to step forward to break the curse, Karkaroff's voice came over.

"Snape? I'm sorry, I'm late."

Snape paused as he stepped forward to lift the curse.

Damn Karkaroff, he didn't come early, he didn't come late, he just came at this time.

After Snape was killed, Karkaroff was heartbroken.

He clenched the wand in his hand and quickly prepared to kill Karkaroff after saving Artes.

Feeling Snape's hesitation and the voice coming from him, Artes quickly sorted out his thoughts.

We can't let the professor save him here.

Thinking about Snape's identity, Arthas thought to himself.

He gritted his teeth and covered the bleeding wound, and reluctantly reached out to hold the door key on his body.

The next second, the door key is activated.

Snape, who was a step too late, could only watch as Aces teleported away.

At that last moment, Snape didn't even dare to look into Arthur's eyes.

He couldn't imagine how Aces felt after teleporting away.

Was he disappointed in him, as a professor injured a student and didn't even try to save him.

Even if it's just hesitation.

Snape looked at the blood on the ground and remained silent.

Karkaroff came to Snape for no apparent reason, saw him looking at the blood on the ground with a clear look in his eyes, and spoke disdainfully.

"Who doesn't have eyesight? There are really more and more people who don't have eyesight in Knockturn Alley."

Awakened by Karkaroff's words, Snape calmed down the expression on his face and turned to look at Karkaroff indifferently.

"I don't understand, Karkaroff."

"What makes you, the headmaster of Durmstrang, come to me, a professor of Hogwarts?"

Karkaroff didn't pay attention to Snape's tone, or he knew Snape's temper.

He pulled up his sleeve to reveal the Dark Mark on his hand.

"I don't believe you didn't feel it. Some time ago, the Dark Mark on my hand suddenly became much more obvious."

Snape interrupted impatiently.

"If that's what you came to me for, then we have nothing to talk about."

He didn't want to waste time with this idiot.

He knew his own curse. If Asseth didn't have a counter-curse, he would only bleed to death.

Sensing Snape's impatience, Karkaroff was puzzled, but he was a little afraid of Snape and did not dare to say anything.

Snape steeled himself and quickly ended the meeting with Karkaroff.

Then he walked out of Knockturn Alley and wanted to find Asseth.

But he didn't know where Asses' door key was transmitted, so he could only try his luck at the safe house first.

When Snape walked towards the safe house, his mind was still in chaos, so confusing that he involuntarily used Occlumency.

He didn't know what Asses would think of him, but he knew that he had to save Asses.

He couldn't look at that person who looked so much like him and believe that his child died in his hands.

Snape's eyes were empty and he looked down at his hands.

You can't die in his hands.

There was a Fidelity Charm in the safe house, and Snape was mentally prepared to be shut out.

But when he arrived at the safe house, he discovered that his authority had not been revoked, and he successfully entered the safe house.

Snape searched around the safe house and found no trace of Artes.

He left the safe house and headed in one direction.

Since it's not in the safe house, it can only be in Cavendish Manor.

However, if he, a hurtful person, comes to pass, will Ass's parents let him go?

Snape laughed at himself, but he never stopped.

After all, it was him who hurt Asseth, and his parents should be angry.

No matter what, Asseth's injury is important.
