HP: Embrace the Darkness
Chapter 499 Gathering in the box
A sudden chill ran down Ace's spine, and he felt like he was being plotted.
He looked towards Box 3 where Voldemort was, suspecting that Voldemort was making some bad moves again.
Anna was aware of her son's keenness, so she withdrew her gaze early, instead of alerting the enemy. Instead, she inadvertently diverted the trouble away from the situation and concealed the situation.
The auction went very smoothly. In the first half of the auction, none of the items received first-rate bids, and all were sold at high prices.
During the intermission, Aces took Draco to visit next door.
"Tuk-tuk-"
"Enter."
Grindelwald's voice came from inside, and Artes raised his eyebrows with interest.
It was true that he sent invitation letters to both of them, but the box given to Grindelwald was not No. 2. At the moment, Grindelwald was in Dumbledore's box.
Have these two reconciled?
Eager to test his conjecture, Asseth nodded and motioned to the waiter behind him to open the door.
The waiter stepped forward steadily and opened the door for Asseth.
Hearing the unfamiliar voice, Draco pulled Artes, "Brother? Who is inside?"
"It's Principal Dumbledore and a gentleman whose name I cannot mention. I'll say hello later. I'll call you sir. No, please call me Uncle Gellert."
As an elder, Grindelwald shouldn't give a greeting gift to a junior too much, right? Ace's abacus crackled, he patted Draco's shoulder comfortingly, and walked into the box first.
He raised his eyes and took in the entire situation in the box - two old men sitting opposite each other.
He was a little disappointed, and thought he could tell whether there was reconciliation from the surface, but it seemed that he still had to test it.
Draco followed Artes step by step and nodded reservedly to Dumbledore and Grindelwald, "Headmaster Dumbledore, Uncle Gellert——"
Grindelwald interrupted him with a half-smile, "Draco Malfoy? What did you just call me?"
Draco was at a loss, and he repeated honestly while facing the gaze of the two of them, "Uncle Gellert."
Grindelwald and Grindelwald looked at each other without speaking.
Draco looked at Asseth unconfidently, "Did I scream right?"
Aces patted him on the shoulder and took him to sit down on the sofa. "By the way, some people didn't even prepare a greeting gift for you. I'm sorry to respond."
As he spoke, his eyes seemed to glance at Grindelwald, and it was obvious who the person he was talking about was.
Grindelwald: "..."
Being looked down upon in front of Dumbledore was something Grindelwald would never allow.
So, he was gearing up to teach Asseth, who didn't know how to respect his elders, a good lesson.
He groped around on his body for a while, and while the three of them looked at it curiously, Grindelwald took out a piece of parchment from somewhere and handed it to Draco.
"My real estate in Europe is considered a meeting gift."
As soon as these words came out, the other three looked at Grindelwald with strange eyes. Dumbledore's eyes were the strangest, as if they were meeting Grindelwald for the first time.
Draco looked at the parchment in his hand and then at Asseth, "Brother?"
"Take it, it's a meeting gift after all."
Aces nodded with a smile, poured himself and Draco a cup of black tea, and took a sip.
"Thank you, Uncle Gellert."
After receiving the meeting gift, Draco's smile was real. Sure enough, the thing he picked up for free was the fragrance.
Not long after the two sat down, the door of the box opened again. This time the person who opened the door was not as careful as the waiter. The door of the box was kicked open hard, hit the wall and bounced back, almost hitting the person who kicked the door.
The waiter in charge of Box No. 2 raised his hand to block the door. Seeing that the door had been opened, he looked ashamed and said, "I'm sorry, Master, I couldn't stop them."
"Nothing, please step back first."
The waiter left the box in response, not forgetting to close the door for his young master before leaving.
The door painted with luxurious patterns was closed, blocking out the noise outside. Artes poured a cup of black tea slowly and raised the glass to invite, "Would you like some tea? Tom."
Voldemort's eyes were sinister, and he glanced past Dumbledore and Draco, then stopped at Asseth, forced out a cold and ferocious smile, and sat down on the sofa.
"Of course, my friend."
Voldemort emphasized the word friend.
As expected, Dumbledore frowned in his peripheral vision.
This discovery pleased Voldemort. He picked up the teacup dryly and took a sip regardless of the heat.
As if he didn't see the undercurrent between Voldemort and Dumbledore, Artes nodded to Snape and Lucius, who followed Voldemort in, wearing black robes and masks.
"The head of the Malfoy family, Professor Snape, you're welcome, sit down and talk."
The two people whose identities were identified looked at Voldemort, and Voldemort impatiently waved his hand for them to sit down.
Dumbledore's mouth twitched, and he wanted to remind Artes that this was his box, but then he thought that the entire auction belonged to Artes, and it made sense for him to greet Voldemort, so he kept silent.
His actions fell into Voldemort's eyes.
Voldemort didn't know what he was thinking. His face suddenly turned ugly, his tone was exaggerated, and his eyes moved back and forth between Artes and Dumbledore.
"Dumbledore, if I remember correctly, this is your box? What? Do you mean you don't welcome me? Huh, after all, I am a student of Hogwarts, and I don't even want to pretend. ? I knew you were a hypocrite. How many people have been deceived by your face, but I was the only one who recognized you early."
Dumbledore, who had done nothing, just watched as a dark cauldron was placed over his head. Voldemort even stepped on it, fearing that the lid of the black cauldron would be unstable.
He closed his eyes, wanting to let himself go and ask Voldemort which eye saw him and didn't welcome him.
Did he speak? Did you say it?
"Tom, what makes you think that?"
Dumbledore pressed Grindelwald's hand and mentioned the words to Artes with a smile.
"This is the Mueller Auction House. The question of whether you like it or not seems to be for Mr. Cavendish."
Hearing his name, Artes raised his eyes casually, "I own the ownership of the auction, but the right to use it is now in the hands of Principal Dumbledore. You should really ask him."
The implication is that your grudges should not get involved.
Voldemort snorted coldly, feeling both proud and contemptuous of Dumbledore's evasion. Shi Shiran turned his attention to Draco next to Artes.
"Draco, I remember you."
Ever since Voldemort came in, Draco had been quietly holding the tea cup in a daze, waiting for Voldemort, Artes and others to speak before he dared to look at Lucius secretly.
Now when he heard Voldemort calling his name, he thought that Voldemort had noticed his little move. His body suddenly stiffened, and he lowered his head silently, not daring to meet the eyes of Voldemort who was good at Legilimency.
"Lucius is here too, why don't you go find your father?" Voldemort's voice contained some frightening curiosity and coldness, "Are you afraid of me?"
