HP: Embrace the Darkness
Chapter 39 Braving the Forbidden Book Zone (Part )
"Anything else?"
Dumbledore stared at Grindelwald and asked.
"Is this the only one?"
"What else do you think I want, Albus." Grindelwald chuckled.
"Or, don't you know what I want most?"
The almost teasing words earned Dumbledore a roll of his eyes.
"Since there's nothing else, I'll leave first."
Dumbledore stood up and prepared to leave.
"Won't you stay a little longer? It's rare for us to meet."
"No, I was too anxious when I came out just now. Some things were not arranged. Let's do it next time."
Dumbledore rejected Grindelwald's request without hesitation.
As soon as the words fell, Fawkes appeared on Dumbledore's head. Dumbledore clasped his hands and held Fawkes' feet. In an instant, Fawkes took him away.
Seeing that the person was gone, Grindelwald no longer concealed the sadness on his face. He stood up and walked to the window sill to look into the distance, as if he could see the person he wanted to see.
Albus, the biggest prison in the world is the human heart. If you cannot get rid of your own obsessions, you will be a prisoner wherever you go.
He sighed inwardly, and he could see that Albus's smile just reassured him that Albus really couldn't get out.
If Albus can't get out, can he get out on his own?
Grindelwald smiled to himself.
So in the following days.
Dumbledore constantly traveled between Hogwarts and Nurmengard, even leaving most of the school's affairs to Professor McGonagall.
Not to mention paying attention to Asseth, it's useless even if Voldemort comes out now.
And Grindelwald became more and more aggressive as Dumbledore gave in again and again.
Dumbledore didn't know whether it was out of guilt for not seeing him all these years or something else, but he tried his best to satisfy Grindelwald's request to meet him.
After Halloween, Hogwarts ushered in a grand feast-the Quidditch match.
But it didn't matter to Asseth because he wasn't interested.
Currently, he is already researching his flying spell. Once the research is completed, he will be able to fly freely without relying on a broom.
It's just that his research progress has been stuck, and he can't figure out some key points, which makes him very distressed.
The research on Horcruxes was similar, because he had too little relevant information and his progress was stuck.
There was nothing Artes could do about this. There were too few records on Horcruxes. Only the book "Advanced Black Magic Revealed" contained detailed methods for making Horcruxes.
As for the book "Advanced Black Magic Revealed", Asseth had written a letter asking his parents to look for it for a while.
Just yesterday, the owl in his house delivered a letter. The letter was written by Anna.
The letter said that they had not found it and that they had looked for everything they could find on the market.
But no, they speculated that someone might have destroyed it on purpose.
In the letter, Anna also told Asseth that the book could not be found in Durmstrang.
Anna speculated that if this book still existed in the world, it must be in the restricted area of Hogwarts.
After all, the only person with the energy to destroy so many profound black magic books is Dumbledore, the most powerful white wizard of this century.
After getting the news, Asseth thought about it and went to find Elise.
Elise's mother's family is a pure-blood noble family and has been studying at Hogwarts for generations. Artes thought that she should know some information about the restricted area.
In the common room, the fireplace was burning brightly.
Aces leaned on the right side of the sofa and looked at Elise, who was sitting upright with a serious face.
"Restricted Book Zone?"
"Yes, what do you know about the Restricted Book Zone?"
Elise lowered her head and thought for a moment, then raised her head and said to Asseth:
"Sir, I don't know much. I only know that any book checked in the restricted area requires the signature of the professor."
"And the books in the restricted area are powerful black magic that cannot be taught to students, well, most of them are."
Professor's signature?
Aces frowned, this is a bit troublesome.
After pondering for a moment, Asseth asked again.
"Elise, do you know the book "Advanced Black Magic Revealed"?"
""The Secret of Advanced Black Magic"?"
"I don't know, sir."
Elise searched her mind for a moment to make sure she had never heard of this name.
Aces didn't say anything, and he didn't have much hope that Elise would know about the book.
After all, it is estimated that only the older pure-blood nobles might know about the book that both the Duke and Anna could not find.
"But, sir, do you need to go to the restricted area to find this book?"
Elise asked curiously.
"Yes, what's wrong?"
"Perhaps I can help you, sir."
"How can you help me?"
Elise stretched out her right hand towards Asseth, her palm opened upward, and a wonderful rune slowly floated up from her palm.
At first, Asseth looked at Elise's movements with confusion, but he didn't understand until he saw the rune.
He asked, looking at the strange rune curiously.
"what is this?"
Elise's face turned a little pale. It seemed that the use of this rune was very costly to her.
"This is one of the talents of our clan, breaking the ban."
"That means breaking the ban."
"We can break through barriers and seals."
"And the principle of the restricted book zone is nothing more than a kind of ban."
"Our talents should be enough to break the seal in the book."
Elise explained.
Aces's eyes flickered, and he felt a little anxious in his heart. This talent is so good.
He was never one to hesitate, so he immediately decided to take a trip to the Restricted Book Zone while everyone's attention was recently on the Quidditch game and Dumbledore had no time to take care of himself.
At night, Elise waited early in the common room for Artes' arrival.
The little snakes all abide by the school rules, so there is no need to worry about being discovered.
When Asseth came out, Elise was already leaning on the sofa and about to fall asleep.
The head is moving bit by bit in mid-air, which makes people laugh.
Asseth covered his head helplessly. Why did he feel like child labor was being exploited? His conscience was inexplicably uneasy!
But now Asseth has no conscience, and he steps forward without hesitation to wake up the sleepy Elise.
Approaching Elise, Asseth heard something that seemed to be muttering in her mouth, and he bent down curiously to listen.
"Mom, why?"
"Mom, dad."
Like a lost child, Elise kept calling for her parents in a low voice.
Aces sighed silently, straightened up and took a step back before speaking softly.
"Wake up, Elise, we need to go."
Elise raised her head suddenly and looked around with sleepy eyes. It took her a while to react, and she looked at Asseth in embarrassment.
"Let's go."
Aces didn't say much.
He took out his wand and cast a Disillusionment Charm on both of them, then turned and left the common room first.
Elise quickly stood up and followed quickly.
