HP: Embrace the Darkness
Chapter 105 The Potions Master’s Potions Textbook
Snape's expression remained unchanged, and he raised his chin towards Artes, gesturing for him to look down.
So Asseth lowered his head and looked down.
The textbook was filled with dense annotations written by Snape.
In addition to annotations, Snape also wrote a lot of corrections to the content and recorded methods that were more convenient than those in the textbook.
See Snape's notes and changes.
Things that Ass had not understood before suddenly became clear, and the awkward parts also had answers.
He looked over bit by bit, his fingertips sliding on the book, crossing the scrawled writing on it, and stopping at an ink mark.
The abrupt ink marks combined with the scrawled handwriting next to it.
Artes seemed to see the scene when Snape was suddenly inspired when he was young, and he hurriedly opened the book to record it, but accidentally spilled the ink.
It may be that Snape, who was so frizzy, was very different from the current Potions Professor who was so strict that his buttons would be buttoned to the top.
So Asseth couldn't hold it back for a moment and chuckled.
As soon as the laughter broke out, Snape's expression remained unchanged, but he couldn't help turning his head to see what Artes saw.
Feeling the Potions Master's gaze, Artes suppressed his smile, deliberately not looking at Snape's face, and closed the book.
"Thank you Professor, I like this Christmas gift very much."
When Snape didn't get the answer, he sent the guest away with a dark face.
The next second, Asseth was holding the potion textbook messy in the wind at the cellar door.
Was he thrown out?
Was he kicked out after receiving the gift?
Asses turned around and left the dungeon with a feeling of helplessness.
He let himself go all the way, and when passing by the Potions classroom, he happened to bump into Carter, who had just returned from Hogsmeade.
Carter held the thick parchment and carefully looked at Artes who was doubting his life.
"Sir? What are you doing? Why do you look...well...confused?"
Carter struggled to choose a word that would not irritate Asseth.
Aces raised his head and looked at Carter in front of him.
"Did you get my Christmas gift? Do you like it?"
"I received a gift, thank you sir, I like this gift very much."
Although he didn't understand why Asseth asked this question, Carter still answered seriously.
"Then what will you think about after receiving the gift..."
Speaking of this, Assasi suddenly paused.
"what?"
Carter didn't understand why Asses stopped talking mid-sentence.
"Forget it, it's nothing. How about the thing I asked you to do?"
Aces gave up asking Carter and turned to ask about business.
When it came to business, Carter put aside his curiosity and reported the situation to Asseth seriously.
"Things are almost done, but... we still need a fixed empty classroom to serve as a base for processing applications."
Empty classroom?
Artes frowned, he forgot to tell Dumbledore about this.
It was definitely impossible for him to find Dumbledore now. Besides, he didn't know if Dumbledore was at Hogwarts?
He thought for a moment, then turned around.
"follow me."
Carter didn't ask any questions and followed Asseth without hesitation.
But as he walked, his steps began to become slow. Looking in a familiar direction, he looked at Asseth hesitantly.
"Sir, are you going to the cellar?"
"Yes, go and apply for an empty classroom for you. An empty classroom in Slytherin. Our dean should be able to grant it to you directly."
Feeling Carter slow down, he turned back in confusion."
Any questions? "
"No, no."
"Let's go then."
Awakened from her sleep again, Miss Medusa raised her head impatiently.
"Mr. Cavendish, why is it you again?"
Since the arrival of Artes, it has often worked overtime to open the door, and the door has often been slammed by the angry potion professor!
Thinking of the grievances it had suffered these days, it spat out a letter, and its cold vertical pupils looked at Ass and Carter.
It was obvious that Miss Medusa was very angry now that she had been disturbed by visiting the cellar again for a short period of time.
Both Aces and Carter could see it.
But Carter's attention was on another thing.
He narrowed his eyes slightly, and his gossipy gaze fell on Asseth.
again?
So sir, you just came back from the cellar?
Artes ignored Carter's eyes and looked at Miss Medusa, who looked displeased on the cellar door.
"I really have something to do with the professor. Excuse me, Miss Medusa. Can I make you an alchemy tool that keeps you warm next time?"
As soon as Asses finished the call, Miss Medusa gradually dispelled Miss Medusa's anger.
It spat out the letter, looked at Asseth strangely, and hissed and muttered.
"No wonder Dean calms down so quickly every time."
"what?"
Aces didn't hear what it was saying.
"Nothing, just go in."
After saying that, Miss Medusa opened the door.
Seeing that his goal was achieved, Asses no longer dwelled on what it had just said, and took Carter into the cellar.
In the cellar, the potion master who had just sent people away and was sitting on the sofa, leisurely reading a book, turned dark when he saw Asseth coming back.
He put down the book in his hand and glared at Ass and Carter who came in.
Carter followed Asseth and walked into the cellar in fear.
The already nervous mood became even more nervous after seeing the impatient look in the potions master's eyes, and his steps slowed down unconsciously.
And Asseth didn't seem to feel Carter's nervousness and came to Snape naturally.
"Professor, we need an empty classroom as a location for funding applications to be processed."
Snape frowned.
He didn't understand why these things had to come to his head. Shouldn't he go to that damn old bee?
Then he thought again that he might not even be able to find the old bee flying around now.
As a result, Snape's face turned even darker.
Damn it, he should have stopped Professor McGonagall from helping that old bee run the school, saving him from running around with nothing to do every day.
The angry Snape made a mental note to Dumbledore.
At the same time, Dumbledore, who rarely stayed in the headmaster's office because he was afraid that the angry Potions Master would stop the tooth-health potion, sneezed loudly and blew all the letters on the table.
He caught a cold?
Dumbledore picked up the letter suspiciously and cast a checking spell on himself.
No?
Dumbledore stroked his beard in confusion.
In the cellar, Snape withdrew his gaze and said to Arthur and Carter.
"Slytherin's empty classroom, you can choose."
After getting permission, Asseth took Carter out of the cellar.
Because he knew that the Potions Master just wanted to read.
There were many empty classrooms in Slytherin. Considering that it was not just Slytherin students who applied for funds, Artes and Carter chose the outermost classroom.
After selecting the classroom, Asseth waved his magic wand, and the next second, the empty classroom was filled with magic. The powerful magic pressure made Carter couldn't help but exit the classroom.
Carter, who was forced to leave the classroom, looked at Arthur in shock.
In just a short time, Mr.'s magic power is much stronger than when he fought against the Horcrux before.
