Hogwarts: Slytherin Kiss
Chapter 148 Astronomy Tower
The black lake is sparkling, the breeze is gentle, and the sparse shade of the beech trees is mixed with tiny bits of sunlight.
"How about it, if you want to come to my house, make an appointment in advance." Indra said, holding his hands on the lawn behind him, his eyes looked lighter in the sun.
Senna: "My parents will probably take Ernie and I to travel to Norway during the summer vacation. Is there time in August?"
Draco's eyes drooped slightly, and the expression on his face was a bit world-weary, because he couldn't stay at Indra's house for as long as Senna and Chucks.
"What about you?" Indra turned to ask Chucks.
Chucks: "Then it can only be August."
Indra smiled and said, "Okay, then you can set the time yourself and tell me in advance."
On Monday next week, the fifth grade students finished their Potions exam, which is probably the most tedious theoretical and practical exam of all subjects. The exam for the Care of Magical Creatures class was on Tuesday. In the theoretical exam, Hagrid's favorite Thestral was indeed tested. The students had to draw a portrait of it. The practical class was held on the grass in the Forbidden Forest in the afternoon.
There are a lot of exams scheduled on Wednesday. There will be a theoretical astronomy class in the morning, a divination class exam in the afternoon, and a practical astronomy class exam in the middle of the night.
Many students have prepared something to refresh themselves so that they will not be dizzy and sleepy after taking the divination test.
At eleven o'clock at night, everyone came to the top of the astronomical tower. The dark blue night sky was clear and cloudless, and the air was quiet.
It is a very suitable weather for stargazing.
Indra set up his telescope, clamped the blank star chart on the board, adjusted the focus, and then began to observe and fill in the information.
Her blank astrological chart quickly became enriched and complete, accurately marking the positions and distances of various planets and their satellites, as well as distant stars.
Indra used a quill pen to connect the stars that formed the constellation Orion. As long as she marked the positions of the three stars in the constellation Centauri, her observation would be complete.
Less than half an hour before the end of the exam, an angry roar suddenly broke the silence of the night.
Indra, who was completely immersed in the star-surrounding exam, was awakened. She stuck her head out from behind the telescope and looked in one direction following the sound in surprise.
Only then did Indra notice that many of the lights from the windows in the castle had been extinguished. It was dark around the astronomy tower, with only the pale and weak moonlight.
The roar seemed to come from Hagrid's hut, just a vague outline in the dark night.
Professor Tofty coughed twice to call the students' attention, "There are still twenty minutes left for the exam——"
Indra returned to his telescope and quickly searched for the location of the three stars in the constellation Centauri.
She just put her eyes in front of the lens tube and found an orange-red star lying in the deep sky, when suddenly there was another loud bang in the distance.
Indra frowned, first marked the star chart with a quill, and then had to look again.
What are you doing down there?
The dark hut suddenly revealed light, because the door was knocked open, and a small mountain-like figure waved his fist and roared. Several people surrounded him in the middle, and the wand in his hand shot out a stream of red curse light.
Indra couldn't help but lean forward to identify it carefully and found that it was a coma spell.
Six wizards are besieging Hagrid!
But those spells bounced back from Hagrid, and Indra opened his lips slightly in surprise. No wonder he was not afraid of the flames of the Blast-Ended Skrewt.
Those thick, spiny shells were probably as soft as velvet to Hagrid.
The giant bloodline is so powerful...
But the scene that followed was even more frightening. Hagrid's hunting dog Yaya was hit by the stun spell while biting the wizards. Hagrid roared and actually picked up the person who cast the spell and threw him away more than ten feet. The bag fell to the ground and stopped motionless.
Many students left their telescopes and crowded to the wall of the astronomy tower to look at the hunting grounds.
"No wonder Dumbledore wants to form an alliance with giants..." Indra murmured with straight eyes, "Is Yaya okay..."
Draco took a breath and his gray-blue eyes widened slightly. He used to call Hagrid stupid and wanted to kick him out of school. This really shouldn't happen...
"Don't worry, that's Hagrid's dog..." Draco said softly.
"It's Umbridge. She actually brought people to arrest Hagrid." Indra pursed her lips and said coldly, with anger in her eyes.
She hesitated whether to mark the remaining two stars first or watch the battle below.
The gate to the castle opened, and everyone heard Professor McGonagall shouting angrily as she ran towards it.
"How dare you! Let him go! You have no reason to attack him!"
Indra suddenly covered her lips in horror, and some other screams followed.
Several rays of red light shot out from the hut and hit Professor McGonagall. Her running figure suddenly froze, a red light appeared all over her body, and then she fell straight to the ground, motionless.
Professor Tofty couldn't remain rational at this time and shouted, "Merlin's beard! This is too much!"
The battle below was fierce and fierce as the students had never seen before.
Wizards from the Ministry of Magic!
And a half-blooded giant!
Indra squeezed her palms. This was the first time she had seen such a battle scene. The bites of Sirius and Professor Lupin were simply incomparable!
The men led by Umbridge failed to subdue Hagrid. He hung Fang's body on his shoulders, turned and ran towards the gate of the castle, and then disappeared into the darkness.
Some students felt their legs were weak and their heads were dizzy, as if the tremors caused by Hagrid's huge body running on the ground were faintly transmitted to the astronomy tower.
Professor Tofti's trembling voice brought everyone back to their chaotic thoughts.
Indra spent the last five minutes completing his horoscope.
At the end of the exam, a large number of students stopped at the foot of the stairs, not discussing the exam but loudly discussing the scene that had just happened.
Indra stood next to the three excited Hermiones for a while, listened to what they said for a few words, and then went back to the lake lounge like most of the Slytherin students.
It was past two o'clock in the morning, and most of the students from other grades in the Slytherin lounge had already fallen asleep or stayed in their dormitories. Only a few night owls who were unwilling to move remained in some corners.
When Indra, Draco, Chucks, and Senna came back together, Tiffany, Blaise, and Theodore were telling two sixth-grade students and a third-grade student about what they saw on the observatory.
"Prefect Indra, how did you do on the exam? My sister said she didn't finish it."
