Wu Shuangshuang and Dai Rongrong found the best local hotel together, had a good night's rest and were ready to set off again the next day with full energy.

Next stop: Gongbu Gyamda County!

Dai Rongrong is used to getting up early, so she drives in the morning.

It is about 130 kilometers from Linzhi City to Gongbu Gyamda County, and it takes an hour and a half to drive there, without changing drivers along the way.

We passed a very beautiful water road along the way.

Standing on the observation deck, you can see the scenery as far as the eye can see.

This route is very easy to drive with beautiful scenery along the way.

The signboards along the way are written in both Chinese and Tibetan.

The so-called water road is a straight and wide road built on the lake, with clear blue water on both sides.

The breeze blew across the sparkling waves. In the distance there were high mountains and snow-capped mountains. The tops of the mountains were shrouded in clouds and mist, which was a spectacular sight.

The two people first went to Taizhao Village in Gongbu Gyamda County, where there is a quiet ancient city called Taizhao Ancient City.

It was around June and the students had not yet had their holiday, so there were few people in the village when we arrived in the morning.

After getting off the car and taking a quick look, it is hard to imagine that this was a prosperous ancient frontier city in ancient times.

It is said that during the Tang and Qing dynasties, there were commercial shops here, post horses running, and merchants of all ethnic groups came in an endless stream.

It is the intersection of the Tang Dynasty Ancient Road and the Tea-Horse Road.

According to legend, when Princess Wencheng and Songtsen Gampo entered Tibet, they took shelter from the rain in a cave west of the village, leaving behind the stories of "Taizhao Felt Processing Technology" and "Tibetan King's Sheltering Stone".

During the Qing Dynasty, a granary was set up in the ancient city. The Qing army was stationed and rotated here, food and fodder were delivered and distributed here, and official documents and letters were delivered and transported here.

Walking on the ancient road paved with stone slabs, the scene of an ancient post station immediately appeared in my mind.

Nowadays, with the development of the times, the roads in the city are getting better and better. This ancient frontier city is almost forgotten.

Fortunately, it was protected in time, leaving behind a relatively complete spatial form of that period.

From the building facade decoration, to the arc shape of window grilles, roof form and wall decoration, to enclosed balconies.

Then, on the terrace, you can see the architectural style that is a fusion of the multi-ethnic groups of southeastern Tibet and Bhutan.

Wu Shuangshuang and Dai Rongrong are both people who love art. The two of them are intoxicated as they walk through the small paths of the ancient city.

This is a very small and beautiful ancient city.

The two took a lot of videos and photos and planned to edit them back in the RV at night.

Just consider it as a small promotion for the local area. I hope more friends who like Tibetan culture and history can come here to check in.

After all, this place is too small and not crowded.

The two people took photos and marveled at the beauty of the architectural art.

In addition to the ancient city of Taizhao, Cuogao Village in Gongbu Gyamda County also left a deep impression on the two people.

Cogao Village is backed by the Jieqing Nalagabu Snow Mountain and has a typical alpine canyon terrain.

This village is very distinctive. It is the only village in Gongbu area that has completely preserved the Gongbu Tibetan traditions, layout of residential buildings, architectural style, customs, culture and beliefs.

In 2014, it was selected into the 6th batch of national historical and cultural villages list.

The houses in the entire village are built only with stones and wood.

Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and rivers, it looks very quaint.

Usually cattle and horses live on the first floor of the house, and people live on the second floor.

Although it is now abandoned and the villagers have moved to the new village next to it, it is still interesting to visit here.

The weather here is really changeable. It changes all the time in a day. It rains and then it is sunny while driving.

Here you can feel the changes of the four seasons in one day.

Therefore, even if they get off the bus and take a walk, Wu Shuangshuang and Dai Rongrong will bring umbrellas in their backpacks.

Of course, I didn’t forget to bring Dahuang his own raincoat, so he can put it on as soon as it rains.

The two of them had a late breakfast and a quick lunch, and didn't feel hungry until around three or four in the afternoon.

I didn't do any research, I just found a small shop and went there.

I went in and found out that it was Yunnan cuisine. I took a look at the menu and the price was not expensive.

The hot pot is placed in the middle of the table in the store, and there is a barbecue plate around the hot pot, which is quite fresh.

The baking tray can be used to roast Matsutake mushrooms. Rinse it with ghee, then put the Matsutake mushrooms on it. Roast for a while until it emits a sizzling aroma.

Ordered a cured pork ribs hotpot.

Yunnan style hotpot, featuring cured pork ribs.

Wu Shuangshuang and Dai Rongrong were not used to the food. It was a bit salty due to the pickling, but it tasted quite fresh.

As a local specialty, you must try the highland barley cake, which is fragrant, sweet, soft and sticky.

It tastes best when it's hot, but it will taste a bit greasy when it's cold.

I didn't expect to be able to eat fried whitebait in the plateau area.

Wu Shuangshuang had always thought that whitebait, white shrimp and hairy crab were specialties only available in her hometown, but she didn't expect to be able to eat them here.

Although the fried whitebait was so dry that its original shape could not be seen, the taste was still quite good.

The meal for two people cost less than 200 yuan. It is rare to find such an affordable and delicious restaurant in Gongbu Jiangda.

After eating and drinking, Wu Shuangshuang took Dahuang for a walk around.

Dai Rongrong held the yellow pig cart and prepared to go to the next stop, Mozhugongka.

Medog is about 200 kilometers away from Gongbu Gyamda County.

If you take the Yaye Expressway, it will take more than two hours to drive to the destination. The two decided to drive directly to Mozhugongka before it gets dark.

I slept there at night.

The one who drove after dinner was Wu Shuangshuang.

While driving, I sighed, who would have thought that I didn’t dare to drive a year ago! Now I dare to drive on the highway!

"Where should we rest tonight? How about we go to Dezheng Hot Spring tonight!" Dai Rongrong suggested while holding the yellow pig.

"Hot spring? Shall we go take a hot spring bath? This is quite good. The temperature is just lower at night. So we can take a hot spring bath to relieve our fatigue! Good idea!" So Wu Shuangshuang quickly changed the navigation position.

Dezhong Hot Spring is located in Menba Dezhong Village, Medog County, Lhasa.

This is a hot spring most frequented by local Tibetans, located at an altitude of 4500 meters.

While Wu Shuangshuang was driving, Dai Rongrong was looking up a guide and introducing the route to Wu Shuangshuang.

When we were almost at our destination, we realized that the hot spring pool had to go all the way to the top of the mountain.

To be honest, it was already dark by then and I searched in the dark for a long time before I found it.

Wu Shuangshuang and Dai Rongrong are full of expectations for this wild hot spring with a history of more than 1400 years, which is also known as the world's No. 1 hot spring.

"Many people say that they want to soak here for 5 to 7 days. If you have injuries, a 21-day course of treatment will have better results!" Dai Rongrong was standing by with a look of anticipation, and she couldn't wait to get off the car to experience it.

After hearing her introduction, Wu Shuangshuang also became eager to try.

"Are there any tourist attractions nearby? We can go play nearby when we get up tomorrow morning. We can't just come here to soak in the hot springs. That would seem like a bit of a loss!" Wu Shuangshuang asked Dai Rongrong.

"Yes, yes. There is a Zhigongti Temple not far away. It is said that there is the world's largest sky burial platform here. You can go and have a look tomorrow." Dai Rongrong said while swiping his phone.
