Chapter 198: Sudden Situation

"Vivian, can you wait for me?" The boy picked up the flowers and the empty vase. He asked her softly, "It won't take long."

Abraxas stood up holding the vase and flowers and was about to go to the bathroom around the corner to get some water into the vase. Just as he walked out of the school hospital door, he saw several familiar figures slowly approaching in the corridor on the right side when he came in.

It was Rudolf and Edgar, and behind them were Orion and Letoria, who were running towards him hurriedly, holding things in their arms and hands. He stopped.

To Abraxas's surprise, Rollis was also there this time.

In Abraxas' memory, Rollis, this 'companion', could not remember when he had been away from them for so long, so long that some people even began to ignore that 'Rollis Gaunt' was one of them.

"How is Elvira?" The visitor didn't know what had happened. Her black curly hair became messy, and some of the strands were wet and sticky on her forehead due to sweat.

"Rest inside." The blond boy said calmly and without staying for too long, he carried the vase towards the bathroom, leaving his companions who had come running behind him where they were.

Rudolf did not pay much attention to whether Abraxas stayed or left. He stood at the door of the school hospital, hesitating for a long time and still had not made up his mind. From his angle, he could only vaguely see the blurry shadow of the bed at the innermost part, which was blocked by curtains on all sides.

The shadow seemed to be holding something in his hand. Rudolph guessed it was a book, but it could also be some other small object that could be fiddled with in the hand.

At this time, apart from Elvira, there were no other "patients" in the school hospital. On the bright side, if Elvira had to stay here tonight, she wouldn't have to worry about being disturbed by others.

"Why are you standing at the door?" Orian, who was carrying a basket, didn't quite understand why the companion who arrived first chose to stand at the door and not go in. He wouldn't care about him. It would be like a fool if he stood at the door without moving when he got to the place.

But just as he was about to go in, he was stopped by Rudolph.

"Mr. Lestrange, I don't know why you choose to hesitate here. This is your own business. Why are you stopping me for your own reasons?" Orian was really puzzled, but Rudolph, who stopped him, did not intend to give him too much explanation.

Laetoria, who came last, was confused. He was also holding a basket in his hand, which contained bread and biscuits, as well as some small red figures - they looked like cherry tomatoes.

"Why are you all standing at the door instead of going in? Is there something in here that scares you?" Mrs. Morris, who had just finished the work at hand, walked quickly to the door, and her sharp eyes swept over the bodies of several Slytherin boys. The fierce aura of Mrs. Morris intimidated those not-so-calm teenagers.

Mrs. Morris: “Are you here to visit Elvira?”

"Yes, ma'am, we are Elvira's companions." Edgar stepped forward and responded politely to Mrs. Morris, but he was confused in his heart. Mrs. Morris in front of him seemed to have a different attitude from her usual gentle attitude towards students.

Did Mrs. Morris think they were disturbing the patient's rest?

"Be quiet when visiting patients. Go in and don't block the door." Mrs. Morris's attitude softened significantly. She simply said a few words to the teenagers and then walked past them and left the school hospital.

When she left, she was still holding a 'book' with a brown-red cover.

Orion stared at the direction where Mrs. Morris left with his brows slightly furrowed, wondering what he was thinking about. All his companions had gone in, except Edgar.

"You are so smiling. Look at Laetoria, she is doing well." Edgar walked to his side, raised his hand and patted his shoulder gently, whispering, "Things won't be that bad, Orian, don't blame yourself too much. Elvira doesn't want to see you like this."

When Orion came to his senses, he saw Abraxas holding a vase in his arms. Those sunflowers looked very familiar. They were the same bunches that Abraxas and Ivy had held in their hands when they returned to the lounge during the day.

Somehow, the news that Elvira, the 'permanent guest' of the school hospital, had returned to the school hospital suddenly spread. After several Slytherin boys left, other people from the same school came, including juniors and seniors.

"Well, the time is up. The patient needs to rest. If you really want to visit, you can wait until tomorrow." Later, other colleges also came to visit, so that Mrs. Morris had to carry out the "eviction work" after she came back.

"But Madam! I haven't even had a few words with the little angel!" The person who came was a sophomore girl from Ravenclaw with brown hair. There was a girl from the same college holding her, "Tia, why are you holding me?"

"Maybe you should control your temper, 'Stephen Ampadra'. If you care about your friend, you won't want to disturb her rest." The girl from the same college pulled her in and wanted to remind her, but it was of no avail. Her friend would always ignore her words in certain situations.

"But she's obviously reading, isn't she?" Stephen Ampadela asked blankly. She didn't understand why her friend wanted to pull her along. Elvira was just reading, so why couldn't she chat with her for a while longer?

"She reads to enjoy some time for herself," Tia Lovegood responded to her friend. "We all do that, don't you remember?"

Stephen looked at his good friend suspiciously, as if he was questioning or doubting himself. Stephen's reaction made Tia feel uneasy.

Mrs. Morris had some vague impression of the two Ravenclaw girls.

One is called 'Stephen Ampadella' and the other is called 'Tia Lovegood'.

Her impression of the former was entirely based on that student's noisy and troublesome personality, his erratic thinking, and his complete lack of any qualities that a Ravenclaw should have.

As for the latter, it was the other party's excellent performance in herbology. This Lovegood was one of the few students she often heard from Allison who was on par with Elvira, except for those conspicuous but good students.

As for her deep impression of Elvira - it might not only be from what she heard from other professors, but more because Mrs. Morris had been able to see her frequently in the school hospital since the student enrolled.

The frequency of this visit is no less than going home. Over time, I become familiar with this student and begin to understand him.

After becoming a professor, I gradually developed a bad habit of comparing myself with students who performed well or had good grades. But it was also because of this that Mrs. Morris had some special impressions of these students.

Sooner or later she would have to remind her old friend to get rid of this bad habit. It was not a good thing to always compare students with each other.

The last to arrive were Alice Grindelwald and Tom Riddle, two of the current male and female prefects of Slytherin House, and Hall Fate, the male prefect of Ravenclaw House. Sent along with them was a junior Ravenclaw who was still in a coma when he was sent to the school hospital.

"Mrs. Morris, this student has fainted in the corridor on the third floor." The male head of Hufflepuff House and Tom Riddle helped the fainted student to the bed near the door. Alice briefly explained the situation to Mrs. Morris, but her eyes could not help but linger on the bed closest to the door.

The little girl on the hospital bed was holding a book in her hands. When she met her sister's gaze, her eyes were full of smiles, as if she was comforting her sister and silently telling her that she was safe and sound.

"I see." Mrs. Morris sighed, not knowing whether she was lamenting her fate of being busy again or worrying about the two children who were sent to the school hospital on the same day. Suddenly, Mrs. Morris reminded as if she remembered something: "You still have time. The patient will have to rest in a while."
