There are still about 30 days until the new semester starts.

Today's job is still to visit the new students of Hogwarts who grew up in the Muggle world.

Some of those children are from Muggle families, and some were abandoned in the Muggle world since childhood; in short, they have been growing up in the Muggle world and know nothing about our world.

My mission is to popularize the existence of magic to him, briefly introduce Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and lead him to a preliminary understanding of magic and the magical world...

Ian Traister is the name of the new student I am going to visit today.

According to information, he lived in an orphanage in St. Giles Parish, London.

Some time later, I regretted my behavior of not confirming the location carefully.

Because in that orphanage, I missed everything.

Mr. Cole, who was in charge of receiving me (he seemed to be the general manager of the orphanage) told me that Mr. Drizzt, the young man, had escaped from here a month ago and never came back.

And when he left, he left a three-foot-high hole in the concrete wall of the orphanage.

The very impolite Mr. Cole, who thought I was related to Mr. Drizzt, tried to stop me and demand compensation for the damage caused to the orphanage by repairing the wall.

Furthermore, he threatened to take me to the police (the Aurors of the Muggle world).

So much so that I had to resort to some means to get out of that orphanage.

……

But soon, I found Mr. Twist in a parking lot on the Isle of Dogs in East London.

Mr. Drizzt is a very clean boy.

For an 11-year-old child, he is tall, with black hair and a red face; he looks very pleasing to the eye.

It can be seen that for a period of time after leaving the orphanage, his life seemed to be pretty good?

I watched him all day in that parking lot.

He spent the entire day performing his magic to the Muggles passing by in the parking lot.

Muggles all call him "Magician", which is undoubtedly their wrong understanding of "Wizard".They think so-called magic is just a simple trick to deceive the eyes.

His "jugglery" performance was quite popular among the Muggles, and he received a lot of rewards from them.

This should be his livelihood after escaping from the orphanage.

What struck me was that for a young wizard, Mr. Drizzt's abilities (magic) showed an astonishing degree of sophistication and maturity.

And, the most interesting point is——

He has discovered that he can control these abilities to some extent and begins to use them consciously.

Although the method used is a bit rough, among his peers, he is already considered a genius.

Moreover, he did not use these abilities in evil ways, which I especially appreciate.

During this period, an interesting episode occurred.

But in the end, when I appeared in front of Mr. Drizzt, I really shocked him.

After a brief panic, he quickly regained his composure and accepted his identity as a wizard.

However, he didn't trust me.

Although he didn't show it completely on his face, it was obvious that he was wary of me.

Poor child, this character may be related to his previous experience in the orphanage; I hope that life in Hogwarts can change this child's character.

……

After understanding my simple science knowledge, Mr. Drizzt refused the Hogwarts scholarship fund after he learned that the currency of the Muggle world could be exchanged for part of the currency of the wizarding world.

Then, he followed me to Diagon Alley; first he went to Gringotts to exchange money, and then bought the things he needed to go to Hogwarts.

Like most children who are exposed to the magical world for the first time, he is full of curiosity about everything and has many questions.

However, unlike those naughty boys, Mr. Drizzt behaved quite well; he did not leave my side during the whole process, and he did not touch anything around him without my permission.

But sometimes, he would ask some ridiculous questions.

For example, when I took him to Apparate to Diagon Alley on Charing Cross Street.

He looked extremely surprised that it only took a blink of an eye to travel from the Isle of Dogs in East London to Charing Cross Street, six miles away!

He was very curious and asked me what kind of power this was, and I told him that it was the power of magic.

But he refused to give up, still muttering in his mouth, what kind of energy can allow two people to complete the instantaneous transfer intact...

All in all, they are words that are incomprehensible.

……

While at Gringotts, we met Quirinus Quirrell, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher hired by Professor Dumbledore.

I don’t know how many teachers have gone through this damn position.

Different from the last time I saw him, Quirrell started wearing a purple turban, and a strange smell came out of the turban... He stammered and explained that this smell could help him drive away vampires.

I remember a few years ago, he was an outstanding student in Ravenclaw!

But after returning from the Black Forest of Albania, he became so neurotic.

I hope he won't be affected by the weird curse of being a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher!

After separating from Quirrell, Mr. Drizzt and I successfully purchased all the items we needed to go to Hogwarts, and everything went very smoothly.

Among them was a wand: black walnut, unicorn tail hair, eleven and a half inches long…

Mr. Drizzt seemed to be using it very smoothly.

In addition, he bought several more books at Flourish and Blotts Bookstore, including a copy of "Hogwarts: A School History"; he also bought a copy of the latest "Daily Prophet".

I am very pleased that he is interested in the history of Hogwarts. It is rare for new students to see this kind of thing... If I remember correctly, there seemed to be one a few days ago, that girl named Granger!

Until the sun completely set, we left Diagon Alley and returned home with a full load.

I sent Mr. Drizzt back to the small hotel where he lived, and finally handed him the ticket to Hogwarts and told him to send an owl to contact me if he needs anything. In this way, I have successfully completed today's task.

What can I say, Mr. Ian Traister is an interesting little wizard. He is mature, studious and polite. If he gets a good education, he will be a good prospect!

I hope the Sorting Hat can sort him into Gryffindor, my house.
