Hiding in Hogwarts as a professor
Chapter 6 Hogwarts
July 31st.
Tver specially arrived half an hour early and apparated directly to the gate of Hogwarts.
The reason why I chose Apparition instead of the more convenient Floo powder was purely because the use of Floo powder was always inelegant.
Tver didn't want to dress formally and appear in front of anyone with his nose in shame.
For Durmstrang, everyone in Hogwarts is someone he must treat with caution.
What's more, under the influence of teachers, image management when facing outsiders is always more important.
But I arrived a little early, the gate was closed, and there was no "personal guidance" as mentioned in the letter.
He yawned helplessly.
Because of the appearance of Ravenclaw's name, Tver has been studying the strange book during this period.
It's just that the brain has never been controlled again, and the content in the book is not of substantial help. It is all summary content, which is simply worse than the graduation thesis in his previous life.
"Good morning, you must be Mr. Welfare, right?" When Tver complained in his heart, an old but elegant witch appeared next to him.
The witch wears square glasses, has curly black hair tied into a high bun, and wears dark green robes. Her meticulous attire makes her look like a stern teacher.
"Minerva McGonagall, I am the Vice-Principal of Hogwarts and Professor of Transfiguration. You can call me Professor McGonagall." Seeing Tweel's appraising eyes, Professor McGonagall immediately introduced herself.
Tver's dusty memories suddenly opened up. This Professor McGonagall was famous in her previous life, but unlike the image in the movie, her expression was more indifferent.
"Just call me Tver, please come and lead me." Tver smiled gently at Professor McGonagall.
It seemed that his expression and movements were not very Durmstrang. Professor McGonagall relaxed her pursed lips slightly and nodded to him.
"Professor Quirrell and Principal Dumbledore are already waiting for you, let's go in."
"I hope I'm not late." Tver followed Professor McGonagall into this long-awaited dream come true.
Professor McGonagall had no intention of introducing him to Hogwarts, and just replied casually: "They are looking forward to this interview."
Her expression was still a little indifferent, as if her status as Durmstrang made her feel a little grudge.
I just don't know what Dumbledore is thinking.
Walking hurriedly in the castle, the previously naughty stairs became orderly in front of the vice-principal, and they were naturally sent to the eighth floor.
"Lemon Olaf." Professor McGonagall read the password.
The gargoyle at the door jumped aside, and the wall behind him cracked in half, and a slowly upward spiral staircase appeared in front of Tver.
"Go in, they are waiting for you in the principal's office."
"Thank you very much for your guidance." Tver saluted and immediately stepped onto the stairs.
As the stairs slowly ascended, when they reached the top, a shiny wooden door appeared in front of them.
He took two steps forward, and the wooden door opened automatically for him.
In front of you is a simple but exquisite circular office.
The wall on the left is covered with portraits of previous Hogwarts principals. When Tver appeared, they all squinted their eyes and examined him.
To the right was a row of bookshelves and a curtain, blocking his view.
There is a long table inside, with some strange silverware placed on it, which is constantly rotating and blowing out puffs of smoke.
Behind the long table, a golden-red phoenix was standing on a shelf, looking at him with its head tilted.
In front of the table, sat a young man wearing a large scarf. His hands were intertwined on his chest, and his whole body was shaking from time to time.
Behind the table is an old man with white hair and beard.
His long beard was blocked by the table, and his blue eyes shone brightly through half-moon glasses.
And these eyes were looking at Tver.
"Welcome, friends from afar." Dumbledore walked around the table to stand in front of Turville with an agility that did not suit his age.
"Albus Dumbledore, current Headmaster of Hogwarts."
Dumbledore kept looking at Turville, but he didn't feel any discomfort.
"Tver Foley, I can guarantee that even the little wizards who have not yet gone to school know your name."
Tver calmly shook hands with the legendary figure. It was the first time he met the old man known as the first white wizard. He did not feel any pressure and was even a little relaxed.
Maybe it's because he has so much experience facing this kind of situation?
"Please don't say that. This kind of praise is too heavy for an old man."
Dumbledore turned sideways and looked at the hooded man.
"Let me introduce to you, Quirinus Quirrell, he will be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor." Seven
Quirrell was already standing aside, the muscles on his face twitched, and he showed a stiff smile, his eyes evaded, and his body even trembled slightly when shaking hands with Tver.
"When I heard... that there was going to be a teaching assistant... I was so happy that I almost couldn't sleep."
He spoke stammeringly, and Tver had to work twice as hard to understand.
"I'm also looking forward to working with you, but it also requires Principal Dumbledore's approval, doesn't it?"
Dumbledore chuckled lightly, said nothing, but motioned for Tweel and Quirrell to sit down.
The three of them sat down again. Across the table, Dumbledore waved his wand and asked, "What would you like to drink? Tea? Pumpkin juice? Or some wine? I heard that Durmstrang students like to drink?"
"That's just the prejudice of outsiders. In fact, not all Durmstrang students like to drink. Like me, I would rather drink a glass of pumpkin juice now."
Turville looked at Dumbledore with piercing eyes, and his words seemed to indicate something.
Dumbledore waved his wand thoughtfully, and a glass of pumpkin juice floated in front of him.
Tver had long wanted to try the famous pumpkin juice, so he couldn't wait to take it and took a sip. The sweet taste immediately made his eyes light up.
It was sweet and soft, with a hint of milk in it. He fell in love with this drink immediately.
"It seems that you like pumpkin juice very much. Do you want me to give you some? I have a big bucket here." Dumbledore noticed Tweel's little movement.
It seems that you like to play aggressive...
Tweel sighed. People's prejudice against Durmstrang was deeper than he thought. Even Dumbledore was on guard.
"No, I don't like going too far."
"I rarely see a Durmstrang student as well-spoken as you."
As if tired of the riddle-like chat, Dumbledore suddenly struck a straight note.
"Especially a student who applies to be a teaching assistant at Hogwarts. As far as I know, you are the first to do so."
"So I'm curious, can you answer my questions?"
