The Taihe struggled to no avail, and sank to the bottom of the sea in less than an hour.

Fortunately, Taihe's trip to Java was not alone.

According to the pictures Chen Wenzhe saw back in the past, there was also a small sailing boat named Wankang traveling together at that time, and this was also done to take care of each other.

After discovering the accident on the Taihe, the captain of the Wankang hurriedly ordered the crew to rescue people.

It is a pity that the Wankang is too small. After saving 18 people, it is already in an overweight state and may sink at any time.

In desperation, the Wankang had to stop saving lives.

How painful must it be to see your compatriots struggling and disappearing in the water with nothing you can do?

Until two days later, on February 2, a British cargo ship selling local cigarettes happened to pass through the sea where the Taihe was killed on its way from India to Portvia.

Including the 18 people rescued by the Wankang, a total of 198 people were rescued on the Taihe, and 1802 people died unfortunately.

In 1998, Mike Hatcher, a British professional treasure thief, accidentally found a broken book in an old bookstore in London-"India Navigation Guide".
