Hogwarts Melting Ice Journey
Chapter 62 Week 5
Friday, October 30th.
Two days have passed since Stephen got the book without content. He tried several times to lift the hiding spell, but failed without a doubt. So he had to put the book aside for the time being and prepare to try again when he was strong enough.
"The Death Eaters' actions have become more and more rampant recently." Rowan took a bite of bread and handed Stephen the Daily Prophet in his hand.
Stephen took the newspaper and took a look. The Death Eaters broke into Gringotts at midnight yesterday, but were repelled by the elves on duty at Gringotts. Gringotts also issued a statement telling wizards that Gringotts will always be one of the safest places in the British wizarding world.
Stephen just thought this was funny, after all, Gringotts had been broken into many times in the future. He handed the newspaper back to Rowan, then picked up a loaf of bread and stood up.
"Come on, Rowan. It's time for us to get to Charms class."
Rowan nodded, took a few bites of the bread in his hand, then stood up and walked out of the restaurant with Stephen. But when he was about to walk out of the restaurant, he looked back at Chiara's position. Unlike before, she did not appear at her usual seat.
"Weird." Rowan turned around and didn't care about it. He followed Stephen's footsteps and left the restaurant.
In the Charms class, Professor Flitwick first led everyone to review the Grin Hula La La. It is said that if this spell can be used skillfully, it can make people smile from the heart.
But at this point, it is obviously not something that a first grader can do. Stephen can only make Rowan laugh, and in turn Rowan can make him laugh so hard that he can't stand up.
This is of course not due to different levels, but due to the different amounts of magic power used. Different magic powers can cause different effects, so Stephen tried to reduce the magic power he used, and then succeeded in making Rowan laugh so hard that he couldn't stand up.
"So the reason why items can be made to explode is because there is no limit to the magic power that can be instilled in a short period of time?" Stephen recalled the details of using another method, "But this seems to only make some small items or things without a fixed form Exploded, it’s actually pretty tasteless..."
Stephen thought of one thing. It seemed that ghosts should be considered things without a fixed form. Unfortunately, he couldn't find a ghost to try this conjecture. After all, it was already miserable for a person to die once. If he died again, he could be transcended directly. ...
"If Peeves comes to bother me again, no one will scold me if I blow him up." Stephen secretly pondered the feasibility of this idea. Even the ghosts were tired of Peeves. It seemed that there would be many more cases of blowing him up. People clapped their hands and cheered.
"Well, it depends on whether Peeves is willing to commit suicide." Stephen decided that as long as Peeves dared to tease him again, he would do it.
"...When using this spell, if you want the person being used to smile from the heart, you also need to think about things that make you happy." When Stephen came to his senses, Professor Flitwick just mentioned the point of using grinning hula-la.
Stephen hurriedly wrote this down in his notebook.
"So does this have similar requirements to the Patronus Charm?" Stephen marked "emotion" next to the note. The wizard's magic seems to not only originate from the soul, or emotions are also derivatives of the soul.
Stephen feels that the research of magic is really tedious and complicated, but doing research in the wizarding world with very few entertainment activities seems to be one of the few things that can enrich himself.
"Maybe I should consider learning from other people and borrowing some entertainment ideas. Maybe I can make a fortune or something." Stephen thought for a while, kept this matter in mind, and planned to wait until Voldemort fell, when he was free. To learn from some future entertainment projects.
Stephan and Rowan could hear many people whispering as they walked out of the Charms classroom and went down the stairs.
"Do you remember what the mysterious man said about Halloween?" "Of course." "Should we..."
"Will the mysterious man do anything tomorrow night? I guess he..."
"Hogwarts is very safe, right?" "Don't worry, there are the greatest wizards here..."
It seems that everyone is curious about what will happen tomorrow night. You must know that this is the first crisis that the British wizarding community has faced since the last wizarding war that affected the world. The war launched by Voldemort has changed many people's lives, families and destiny.
Stephen could see fear, worry, and haggard on their faces, some with excitement, and even some students with fanatical looks on their faces.
Rowan looked at Stephen with a dull expression and asked curiously: "Stephen, aren't you curious about what will happen tomorrow night?"
"There's nothing to be curious about, Rowan." Stephen already knew what would happen tomorrow, and of course he was not curious about these things. "Some things are destined to happen. Only one of the mysterious person and his destined enemy can survive."
"You mean" Rowan looked around and whispered, "tomorrow"
"It's hard to say." Stephen didn't say anything and just ignored the topic. "Who knows what the ending will be like. Rowan, let's study herbal medicine later."
"Yes." Rowan nodded, "Today we are in the second greenhouse, which is farther than the first greenhouse."
Stephen took out his pocket watch and looked at it, "Then we have to hurry up. By the way, your parents should have been hiding."
"I don't know, they cut off contact with me." Rowan shook his head, with a trace of worry on his face.
Stephen patted him on the shoulder, "Don't worry, no news at this time is the best news."
"Severus, do you understand the purpose of Voldemort's recent actions?" Dumbledore looked at Snape in the principal's office and asked. His face changed from its usual calmness to one full of seriousness.
"I don't know, Dumbledore." Snape looked gloomy, "The mysterious man just let the Death Eaters attack wildly, and his orders sounded very crazy."
Dumbledore stood up and walked to the window, not knowing what he was looking at.
"Has he found Potter and Longbottom?"
"Probably not. I think the reason why the mysterious man has caused the Death Eaters to attack recently is because he has not found the whereabouts of Lily's family."
Dumbledore did not correct Snape's words. He turned and looked at Snape, who looked at him.
"I don't think you're lying."
"Dumbledore, I will not lie about Lily." Snape was not angry because Dumbledore doubted him, but his face looked gloomy, "I will do my best. Protect her."
"You are still so selfish." There was a hint of contempt in Dumbledore's tone, but it was quickly covered up. "But love is like that too, even though it is sometimes selfless."
"Please protect her and her family. I have to go back to avoid being suspected by the mysterious person."
"I will." Dumbledore nodded slightly and watched Snape leave the principal's office.
