Hogwarts Melting Ice Journey

Chapter 35 Conjecture

In the school hospital, Snape walked into the school hospital and looked at Madam Pomfrey: "Mrs. Pomfrey, did Ben leave just now?"

Madam Pomfrey raised her head and glanced at Snape: "Oh, it's Professor Snape. Ben has been gone for a long time. He was frightened in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class yesterday, but I let him drink some yesterday. Calming drug, he went back to class early this morning.”

Snape nodded, indicating that he understood, and then turned to leave the school hospital.

"Oh, he's still as rude as before." Madam Pomfrey continued to work on the things she had just finished, while mumbling that the school should cancel these dangerous courses.

Professor Snape returned to his office, his gloomy face expressionless, making it unclear what he was thinking.

Merula hurried to the Ravenclaw Tower. At this time, she had already taken off the invisibility cloak somewhere where no one noticed. Merula grabbed a student who was about to go back to the Ravenclaw common room. .

"Can you please call Stephen Tony for me? I have something very important to tell him."

The student she held turned to look at Merula.

"Ms. Snyder, if it's not something that needs to be kept secret, you can only tell Stephen. You can tell me first and I'll tell him." The student paused and felt that he needed to introduce himself, "I'm Martin Perry. Stephen’s friend, you have entrusted me to deliver a letter to him before.”

"How do you know that the letter was entrusted by me?" Merula looked surprised. "Let's forget about it for now. This matter is very important. I think I can only tell Stephen Tony."

"Okay, I respect your decision. But Stephen and the others are not in the common room now." Martin shrugged, "I'm afraid you have to find him tomorrow."

"You haven't even gone in, how do you know if he is there or not?" Merula looked at Martin suspiciously. "I have reason to think you are fooling me. I will go in and find him myself."

"Oh, please. I just don't know what question the knocker will ask later. It would be great if you could answer it." Martin didn't care about Merula's suspicion of him and walked directly to the common room. Door.

Merula hurriedly followed him, and the two came to the door of the common room, where the knocker asked a question.

"Is human death the end or the beginning?"

"Isn't this just a simple choice between two options?" Merula looked disdainful. "It's still the simplest one, of course the end."

Martin looked at Merula and shook his head imperceptibly.

The eagle-shaped door knocker looked at Merula without saying a word, and the door to the common room remained motionless.

"That's the beginning." There was still no movement from the door knocker.

Merula looked at the door knocker with a bit of annoyance. She turned to look at Martin: "Come here."

Martin smiled: "Ms. Snyder, I thought you knew the answer. I don't know what the answer to this question is. What I thought at first was that you must be a smart person. You can tell me Whatever you can say now, I will help you convey it to Stephen.”

Merula hesitated for a few seconds, then nodded: "I saw Ben and Professor Snape in the courtyard. That's what I can tell you."

Martin's expression changed. He knew that Merula wanted to duel with Stephen in the afternoon, but if Copper and Snape were both there, it meant that things were not simple.

"I understand, Miss Snyder, I will ask Stephen to find you as soon as possible."

Merula nodded to Martin and turned to leave the Ravenclaw common room. When she was halfway there, she looked back and found that Martin was gone.

"He probably didn't go in just now, right? Merlin's Beard, what about the others?" Merula was surprised. She was sure that Martin did not answer the knocker's question, nor did he leave there without her noticing.

Merula shook her head and left Ravenclaw Tower. There are so many secrets in Hogwarts, not least of which is an elusive student.

The three of Stephen are still resting in the Room of Requirement. They have just been busy for long enough. The three of them were sitting on the sofa, drinking and chatting about interesting things in school. Of course, it was Penny who was mainly talking, because she knew these things very well.

The door was suddenly opened, and Stephen looked back in surprise, because he was the only one with his back to the door. He looked carefully at the person who came in, and it turned out to be Martin.

Martin walked in and the door closed automatically.

"You are indeed here." There was another sofa in the room, and Martin sat down.

"Martin, how do you know this and how do you know the room we are in?" Rowan looked at Martin curiously. They had never told him about this.

"Rowan, I know a lot of secrets in the school. The Room of Requirement is not a difficult place to find." Martin changed his position and sat in a comfortable position. He had just moved too fast and climbed several floors in one go. It made him feel a little tired.

"I think since you can't be found in the school, you are either out or here. As for finding you in the Room of Requirement, it will be easier."

"I think you are thinking of finding the room where we are." Stephen looked at Martin.

Martin snapped his fingers, indicating that Stephen was right, "Stephen, I came to you because of a very troublesome matter."

Stephen looked at Martin with curiosity: "What trouble?"

"Copper went to the courtyard."

"This is impossible, isn't he still lying in the school hospital?" Luo Wen said in surprise.

Petunia explained to Rowan: "No, Rowan, I heard that Ben left the hospital this morning. I heard about it from a Gryffindor friend of mine."

Martin continued what was interrupted: "That's not the most important thing, Professor Snape also went to the courtyard."

"Oh, this is a little plan of mine." Stephen explained, and then briefly explained the content of the plan to Penny and Martin, "But I think they didn't appear there at the same time."

Martin shook his head: "I don't know. Merula only told me about the two of them going to the courtyard. Judging from her expression, she seemed a little panicked."

"Panic" Stephen began to think, "Merula's fighting skills are considered to be among the best in the first grade. Even if Ben has excellent talent in magic, I don't think Ben can beat Merula with his temperament."

"And it stands to reason that Professor Snape would not attack Merula." Rowan added, "Wait, wouldn't he?"

Stephen answered Rowan's question, "Snape should not attack people in his own academy."

"Then the only possibility is that Ben attacks Merula. No, wait, there is another possibility..."

Martin looked at Stephen and helped him complete this possibility, "Copper and Professor Snape fought, and Merula, who was hiding in the dark, saw the whole process."

"I think I really need to ask Merula about the whole thing." Stephen took out his pocket watch and looked at the time. It was eight o'clock, which was still a while before bedtime. "I have to leave now, otherwise I might end up in bed." Caught by Filch after bedtime.”

"Then I think it's time for us to leave here, Stephen. Remember to tell me the details." Petunia stood up, and Rowan and Martin also stood up and prepared to leave with Stephen.

The four left the Room of Requirement, and Stephen hurried to the Slytherin common room.
