Hogwarts Melting Ice Journey

Chapter 17 Mysterious Parchment

Stephen rushed to the classroom half exhausted. He found where Rowan was, sat down, and waved his hand to Rowan to tell him not to ask anything. He had to seize all the time to catch up on his sleep.

Stephen fell asleep like this during the first class. Fortunately, he sat at the back of the class and no one noticed that he was sleeping. However, Rowan also missed many opportunities to earn points because Stephen was sleeping next to him.

After class, Stephen followed Rowan and walked sleepily to the restaurant.

"Stephen, what happened to you yesterday? Why do you look so tired today?" Rowan asked curiously, looking at Stephen who looked tired.

"Rowan, I'm fine, I'm just too sleepy." Stephen yawned. As soon as he closed his mouth, a water bomb hit him in the face. He shuddered and felt that he suddenly woke up.

He looked up and saw that it was Peeves. He smiled at Peeves, who made faces at him. Stephen found a bottle of hot sauce from the bag. He took some from Hagrid when he left, and sprinkled a little on the palm of his hand.

He remembered the spell Lupine had used against Peeves.

The hot sauce in "Wadi Wasi"'s hand flew into Peeves' mouth, and Peeves' color instantly turned red.

"Ahem, it's killing me." When Peeves saw that Stephen still had a bottle, he immediately left knowingly, and coughed while floating, and the red color on his body never faded.

He and Rowan laughed, and passing students saw Peeves looking embarrassed. He also smiled happily. You must know that since the establishment of the school, almost only Peeves has played tricks on people, but not many people can play tricks on him. It can even be said that "Peeves has been a bitter ghost at Hogwarts for a long time." The only thing it's afraid of is probably Bloody Barrow, and even Professor Dumbledore can only give it a little respect.

The two walked into the restaurant, sat down at their usual seats, and chatted about what happened last night while eating. Rowan was surprised by their experience, and did not expect that Stephen and Merula were actually attacked by wolves.

Martin suddenly appeared next to Rowan, but this time he remembered to remind Rowan that he was coming, so he patted him on the shoulder, then handed Stephen a piece of parchment, nodded to Stephen and left .

"To be honest, he's even more scary like this. Think about it, a big living person suddenly and silently appears behind you and pats you on the shoulder. It's really creepy." Rowan looked at Martin's face. The figure behind shook his head and continued to fight with his lunch.

Stephen first glanced at the paper Martin gave him just now, and then looked at it carefully. Then he felt it was not enough, so he took out a notebook and pen and wrote something down on it. During the recording process, his brows were always furrowed, as if this matter troubled him.

"Rowan, we'd better not walk out of the common room tonight." After recording, he looked up at Rowan, crumpled the parchment into a ball and put it in his pocket.

"Why?" Rowan finally finished the last bite, put down the tableware, and burped.

"Don't you still have a lot of books to read? I also need to study my notes." Stephen didn't want to explain the reason, but just gave an excuse, "I think we go to the classroom now, and I can have time to sleep again. To be honest Yes, Hagrid’s snoring is my lifelong nightmare, and I will never want to sleep with him at night again.”

After afternoon and evening classes, Stephen and Rowan returned to the common room, where Chester happened to be waiting for them.

If there were a book called Hogwarts Unsolved Mysteries, there would definitely be an article about Chester's ability to accurately find the eaglets whose points were deducted.

"Stephen, I have warned you many times, you'd better be more careful." Chester stared at Stephen coldly. The temperature in the lounge seemed to have dropped a few degrees. After warning again, Chester left. The atmosphere returned to normal instantly.

"Are there many times? I only remember two times." Stephen was a little confused, feeling that he might have been labeled as a bad student in Chester's mind. "If he said that he came to me very frequently, then I would be happy to admit it. Wrong, but where is this?”

"And strictly speaking, after the points deducted for you are actually added to the points you earned, it is actually not as much as Gryffindor." Rowan found a book from the bookshelf and sat down.

"Rowan, I really don't know whether you are praising me or hurting me. Professor Snape loves to deduct points from those little lions. How can I possibly compete with them? I really don't know if Professor Snape has anything to do with them." Chou." Stephen sat on the chair opposite him, took out a piece of parchment, and planned to complete the transfiguration homework.

"By the way, Rowan, besides Quidditch, don't wizards have any other entertainment activities?" Stephen felt that if he kept learning, practicing, and reviewing repeatedly, this kind of life might drive him crazy.

"Of course it's not just Quidditch, there are games like wizard chess, Gobstone, Gobstone, and Dodo stone. What I'm best at is Gobstone. As for Wizard chess, I don't think I can do that in my life. If you want To play Gobstone, we can go to the courtyard and I will teach you how to play."

Rowan's eyes even light up when he mentions Gobstone, and he looks like he loves the game. But it was obvious that Stephen had no impression of the game.

"Rowan, although I really want to know what Gobstone is, we'd better not go out tonight." Stephen shook his head and continued to work on his homework, "Your homework is all done."

Rowan looked at Stephen and found that he did not talk to him about Gobstone's thoughts, and nodded: "My homework is almost done."

After saying that, he continued to look at the book in his hand, a small secret in the art of transfiguration.

He suddenly remembered the parchment that Martin handed to Stephen, but he also realized that if Stephen wanted to say something, he would have told him long ago, so he did not ask. But he was still curious about what was written on the parchment.

Before I knew it, it was bedtime, and there were not many people in the common room. Stephen stretched, stood up, and planned to walk back to the dormitory.

He glanced around to make sure that no one except Rowan had noticed his actions, and threw the crumpled parchment into the fireplace.

The parchment burned in the fire, but it did not burn out quickly, but gradually stretched out.

Rowan has been paying attention to Stephen's movements. He stared at the piece of paper and vaguely saw some words on the parchment stretched out in the fire: "Corridor...Treasure House... ….Danger…r…”

"Who is r?" Rowan thought about the people he knew and made sure that there was no one with the initials "r" around him. "Forget it, I don't know many friends. I think I will understand who it is in the future, I thought I might as well investigate it myself.”
