There are many fallen leaves in this river, after all, not all of them fall into the river in the same way.

Falling into the water, some will be eaten by the fish in the river, and some will be stranded on the shore, and the ending is not the same.

Going with the flow is a state, and following one's inclinations is also a state, and there is no absolute opposition between the two.

From trees to birds, they may not need to follow their whims, but they must.

If they didn't go with the flow, there would be no basic blooming of their lives.

Doing what you want is not a choice, but a result and recognition?

Fu Hai half understood the answer.

So, he decided to ask the question a little more clearly.

"I once heard you say that you can do whatever you want at seventy. I don't know how to explain this?"

"Students can give advice to officials, and you must know the key points. Why don't you make changes?"

Fu Hai has seen Confucius' daily life, and can feel the existence of that kind of contradiction.

It is difficult for him to connect this contradiction with doing whatever he wants.

In his mind, being free to do whatever you want is associated with lawlessness, and the two have something in common.

That is, the obstacles encountered will be very small.

But Confucius was not like that.

Let Fu Hai feel that the leaves clearly know that they will wither and turn yellow, and there will be wind, but they still choose to grow up with a sense of tragedy.

Just like Confucius traveled so many countries.

He felt that Confucius knew about these countries when he set off.

Did he really not know that he would be rejected?

Obviously don't know what to do but do it, there are constraints and limitations everywhere, it's like an abstract person dancing with shackles.

Can you really do whatever you want?

"I once saw a road, and there was a mountain blocking this road. I spent my life trying to remove this mountain. You ask me why I don't go around this mountain?"

"I have many disciples. When they saw me moving the rocks of this mountain, they felt admiration, so they got involved."

"For this reason, they also saw this mountain. My disciples saw this mountain. Some of them chose to avoid it, some chose to call people, and some chose to follow me to call people."

"With their existence, not to mention that this mountain will be moved away, but everyone knows that there is such a road blocked by the mountain, and there will always be someone like me, trying to move the mountain away."

"If I don't try to move this mountain, it will be difficult to see people who walk the same path as me in the future."

"It's like what you said to go with the flow, there must be waves first, and there must be flow first. I am willing to be the flow. Since I have done the flow, do I follow my heart?"

After Confucius finished speaking, he couldn't help forming a paradox.

After hearing such words, Fu Hai was also a little stunned.

He already had a feeling in his heart that doing what you want is not really what you want to do.

Nor is it the result of seeing through the whole world in order to continue.

To do whatever you want is to be able to see where you are, to see a point in the distance, and you know how to get there.

Even if there are any obstacles in the middle, if you have any obstacles, you are still not afraid.

It's as if you want to dance, even if you dance in shackles, you are doing whatever you want.

Even if you can't move your whole body and a gust of wind blows your hair, you can still do whatever you want.

of course,

Confucius was very clear about the path he was going to take, "benevolence", "propriety", "beauty" and "goodness" were the guidelines for him to walk. 9, 8:0.

Fu Hai felt that he could not do this.

Even the only kindness is not guaranteed.

I haven't seen Siyu, and I haven't done whatever I want.

Do I still have to go through some heart-seeking process?

But he is not Confucius after all, and it is impossible to follow the same path as Confucius.

Fu Hai didn't continue to dwell on this question, but planned to continue asking this question, so as to continue to provide himself with some ideas.

After all, he hasn't figured out what his bottom line is, or which word he insists on.

"I have met many people, including children, middle-aged, and old people. I don't know how to judge that they are seeking the Tao."

"Some people are born ignorant and can't teach anyway. How can we make them seek the Tao?"

"Or, this way is very good, but gradually some people are coerced and forced to become slaves. Is this way still the original way?"

Fu Hai's question is a continuation of Confucius' answer.

Confucius said that he was seeking the Tao, and he also wanted more people to seek the Tao.

In his previous life, he knew that the Internet was full of quarrels, and these talking people not only had to think about their brains, but also their asses.

As long as there is no unity, contradictions may arise.

As long as you try to be unified, it becomes drifting.

You said you opened the avenue, but this avenue has gradually restricted more people to come.

There is a basis for saying this.

In previous lives, anyone who knows history knows that Confucianism and Taoism gradually became feudal ethics after they first became tools of rulers.

There are three layers to the whole problem, all dealing with collective situations.

What Confucius did was aimed at people in the whole society.

The first one is aimed at the law of birth, old age, sickness and death, which is essentially a replacement. There will always be people who cannot accept some facts due to their own age and perspective.

The second is aimed at the bottom class or the weak. This kind of talent is the majority of the society, and it is difficult to deal with it.

The third one assumes that the highway is not only digging, but also changing lanes.

Everything changes, changes over time.

No matter how well thought out this path is, it can't hold back that people are changing.

Confucius had a thoughtful look on his face.

He understood Fu Hai's question.

Regarding the question just now, Fu Hai was asking him, and he was also asking about his life.

Start by asking him if he feels like he's drifting with the flow.

The second time I asked him in depth again how to do whatever he wanted.

Now it is equivalent to Fu Hai bringing in a new perspective, he is the one who seeks the Tao.

Just now he was the narrator, now he is the guide.

The problem can be said to be from point to surface.

It is from theory to practice, from one person to all people.

Confucius didn't hesitate too long, before he opened his mouth to answer: "Crops grow at different speeds, and trees grow at different ages. This requires education without discrimination."

"However, I never ask others to follow my path. I just follow myself. If someone follows me, I will be happy in my heart."

"In the process of traveling through the countries, I have met children who are smarter than me, and old people who have scolded me for being stupid. They are all my teachers. Do I still have complaints about my teacher?"

"There are tens of thousands of roads. How can I, Confucius, let everyone follow my road? People who only take other roads can be friends of my road without harming others or themselves."

"People have good and evil, if you can't deal with it, you don't deal with it. If there is a gap between the two, you can become an enemy or a bandit."

"If my way prevents people from entering and makes them drift with the flow, I have nothing to do. I can only hope that some people will re-walk the way and open the old way with a new way."

"I just wish I could be one of those fruit tree seeds that go into the ground, germinate and grow more seedlings, until all the people who pass my way are fed."

Confucius said in a flat tone.

At this time, in Fu Hai's eyes, Confucius seemed to be the Yu Gong who moved mountains and rivers.

This legend has not yet appeared, but Confucius is such a person.

From the beginning to the end, Confucius, the foolish old man, had no one to help him move the mountain. Instead, he used himself to impress a group of people, and a group of people moved such a mountain spontaneously.

"Thank you, Holy Word!"

Fu Hai directly composes and celebrates discipleship, which can be regarded as thanks to Confucius for his teaching.

In terms of age, he was actually younger than Confucius.

As far as knowledge is concerned, he has received a little enlightenment in his previous life and even now, a disciple ceremony is still necessary.

After he saluted, a wisp of purple air flew out of Confucius' body and entered his body.

It was as if when Qilin fell to the ground, a wisp of purple energy entered his body, and now there is another wisp of it.

The question is almost here.

After observing Confucius' daily life for a year, Fu Hai is still very familiar with the four virtues that Confucius pursued.

This is not what he wants to pursue.

So no great inspiration.

On the contrary, in the current question and answer, he personally felt Confucius' views on himself and the collective, and he gained something in his heart.

People must first understand themselves, and then they can further understand others.

From the point of view of Confucius, Confucius is a person who knows himself very well. He taught his disciples not to talk about what will happen in the future, at least within a few generations, there will be no problems.

With the existence of Confucius, it is normal for Confucianism to prosper in the future.

Compared with other nobles, Confucius is a person who walks among ordinary people, and many of his remarks are close to the people.

It is only natural that Confucius, who came out of the masses, would be chosen by the masses.

"It's not holy words, it's common people's words."

After Fu Hai spoke, Confucius shook his head.

He really likes the sentence that Fu Hai said just now that he is an ordinary person, but now a holy saying demeaned him a bit.

It's like, he likes his disciples to respect him, but he doesn't want them to praise him too much.

Then, both sides said their goodbyes.

After Fu Hai said these words, he had to realize it carefully.

And after Confucius met Fu Hai, he also completed a favor.

Even answering Fu Hai's question is in itself removing a stone from the avenue where he is.

When leaving, Confucius also wished Fu Hai a word, hoping that he could cultivate into a real dragon soon.

Confucius once met Lao Tzu and felt that Lao Tzu was like a dragon.

Now watching Fu Hai, I feel that Fu Hai is not as good as a real dragon.

Fu Hai also agreed.

He also used magic to make a wooden boat, and pushed water to send Confucius a ride.

Because Fuhai did not come out of the water, Zixia was very surprised when he watched Confucius go up and get down by the boat on the edge of Yishui.

But Fu Hai was a strange beast, Confucius didn't want to expose Fu Hai, so he didn't say much.

After Confucius left, Fu Hai found the wrong deep pool in Niqiu Mountain, and began to think about the experience of the past two years.

He knew that if he wanted to make a real breakthrough, he had to understand the words of Confucius and Laozi thoroughly.

One Confucianism, one Taoism.

That was a thought that had been influenced in previous lives, and he needed a combination of the two.

Chapter 192
