Hogwarts: This wizard wants to make progress too much
#141 - Section 141
Filling my entire body with magic, I aided the transformation to ensure its smooth completion.
Soon after, I felt myself rising higher and higher from the ground, a consequence of my increasing size, which I understood.
My head began to throb, and I felt something pressing to emerge from my temples—a crucial step.
It was essential to remain especially clear-headed from the moment the head began to transform, lest I lose myself in bestial instincts.
Countless individuals had failed at this very stage.
I, too, felt the surge of negative emotions intensify, forcing myself to remain calm.
Then, an itching and aching sensation spread through my neck, and a blue dragon head emerged.
The blue dragon head and the red dragon head stared at each other, big eyes meeting small eyes.
I could clearly see the other's appearance at that moment.
I discovered that both heads were under my control; there wasn't a separate consciousness for each new head. However, this sensation felt unfamiliar.
Next, the green dragon head, the black dragon head, and the white dragon head emerged one by one, completing my transformation into the form I had envisioned.
At this point, I found that I could control the body, but it felt uncoordinated.
When controlling the red dragon head, the other four heads would freeze, becoming completely still.
Yet, attempting to control all five heads simultaneously resulted in too much visual information, overwhelming my senses.
Perfect control would require extensive practice.
Examining my body closely, I estimated my length to be over a hundred meters. With wings fully extended, it would exceed three hundred meters—utterly terrifying.
Even Oynxya, a behemoth among the fire dragons of this world, would appear as a mere infant in comparison.
As for my current abilities, I could breathe fire, cast spells without a wand, and potentially possessed other undiscovered powers.
I immediately requested several oversized targets from the Room of Requirement.
Turning my body, a few steps caused the entire room to tremble.
The red head opened its mouth, and a cone of fire erupted, incinerating the target as easily as breathing.
The black head spewed acid, completely dissolving the target upon impact.
The white head exhaled a cone of frigid air, encasing the target in a massive block of ice.
The blue head unleashed a linear bolt of lightning, dealing impressive damage and shattering the target into fragments.
The green head emitted a cone of corrosive gas, similar to the black dragon's attack, but in gaseous form rather than liquid.
Having tested my basic abilities, I decided to experiment further. With a powerful flap of my wings, the entire dragon took flight.
But the flight was short-lived, resulting in a face-first crash landing. All five dragon faces plowed furrows into the ground, leaving the entire dragon in a sorry state.
Fortunately, my body was sturdy enough, and my hide thick enough, that I felt no discomfort after getting up.
After careful consideration, I attempted another take-off after a running start. After several more face-first crashes, I finally grasped some of the technique. Luckily, my learning ability was strong; otherwise, mastering take-off could have taken forever.
Moments later, a strange-looking dragon was flying erratically through the air, causing Cassandra and the others below to worry, not for my well-being, but for fear of being crushed.
"Try casting spells on me; I feel incredibly resilient right now!"
All five dragon heads spoke to Cassandra and the others simultaneously.
I then watched as their hair and robes were blown backward, leaving them looking bewildered.
After they recovered, I controlled a single dragon head, lowering the volume to communicate.
Dragons naturally possessed high magic resistance, let alone in my current form, further enhanced by the 'Unyielding' talent.
Watching Cassandra and the others unleash spells ranging from Disarming to Incendio to Bombarda, not a single mark was left on my scales.
Finally, they resorted to borrowing Mjolnir, which managed to leave a few minor marks.
With the testing mostly complete, I prepared to revert to human form.
During this process, I could clearly sense the changes in my body, and it took quite some time, several minutes, to transform back.
If I wanted to instantly switch between human and animal forms like Professor McGonagall, I needed to keep practicing.
Chapter 179: Merlin Order, First Class Badge
The next day, a Sunday, the weather remained stormy.
Having successfully completed the Animagus transformation, I felt energized even without sleep and remained in excellent spirits.
Arriving at the Great Hall, I noticed a large gathering of young wizards near the notice board.
What scheme was Dumbledore up to this time?
I had no intention of pushing through the crowd. Yesterday's Animagus transformation had left me incredibly hungry, and I was eager for a hearty meal.
Besides, Terry would undoubtedly investigate and return to share the news after figuring out what was happening.
Sitting at the Ravenclaw table, I attracted frequent glances from the surrounding young wizards.
Penelope and Cho Chang were helping me fetch food on either side.
It was truly enviable, and how much could he eat!
I had always been a big eater, consuming at least four or five people's worth of food to feel full!
But now, it was at least ten people's worth!
And I was still eating, showing no signs of stopping.
Fortunately, meals at Hogwarts were free and self-service, so one could take as much as they could eat.
They simply couldn't understand. While I was tall and sturdy, there were taller and sturdier older students.
Yet none of them could eat as much as I did, and after finishing, my stomach wasn't bulging, nor did I gain weight.
Could it be that eating more meant a higher aptitude?
I had no intention of paying attention to what others thought, continuing to eat for over half an hour before slowing down!
"Alright, I'm almost full!"
With a mouthful of smoked meat, I finally signaled Penelope and Cho Chang to stop.
Ison had finished all the food in this area, and he was about seventy percent full. That was enough!
He just didn't know if this sudden increase in appetite was a temporary side effect of using the Animagus form, which consumed a lot of physical strength and energy.
Or was this increased appetite going to be the norm from now on?
"We won't become like this in the future, will we?"
Penelope went to the front to prepare her breakfast and sat next to Ison.
Her face showed obvious worry.
She was the type who ate relatively little for all three meals, especially meat.
If her appetite suddenly increased, she didn't know if her figure would also increase.
The parts of herself that should be big were already big enough, and she didn't need more nutrition.
She had been a little worried in the past because Ison's appetite was a little more than the average person's at first, just a little bit, but on the second day after taking the Blood of Magic, it soared to four or five times the normal amount.
Now that he had learned Animagus, his appetite was even more terrifying.
Before long, she would also have to take the Blood of Magic, and as for Animagus, according to Ison, it was something she had to learn, but she had to wait until she had a high enough level of Transfiguration.
"Your appetite will definitely increase a bit, but it won't be like mine, so don't worry."
"Moreover, with the improvement of physical fitness, digestion and metabolism will also improve. As long as you don't ingest excessive energy, you won't gain weight."
Ison could naturally see their worries.
But they didn't have bloodline sublimation, just ordinary magical animal bloodlines, so the improvements in all aspects wouldn't be as great as Ison's.
Autumn Zhang on the side wasn't so worried. Kneazles weren't big, and their figures weren't fat, and their appetites were small. Most likely, after she took the Blood of Magic, there wouldn't be much change.
After all, except for a few types of cats, other cats weren't fat, just had longer fur, making them look bigger, but they would be beaten back to their original shape once they got wet.
"Ison, you've eaten all the breakfast here!"
Terry pulled Michael and the others over from the bulletin board, looking at the empty breakfast area around Ison, feeling a little unbelievable.
Although Ison could eat, he hadn't reached this point, had he!
"Yeah, what's written on the bulletin board?"
"Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge is coming, tonight. He's going to give an explanation about the Dementors. That's what's written."
After reading the notice, he had been talking to other young wizards there for a long time.
Everyone was guessing that Fudge couldn't withstand the pressure anymore.
After all, after Harry was attacked in the Quidditch pitch yesterday, the young wizards who had calmed down a bit started communicating with their families again.
Many of them were communicating with their families using the same template: 'I can't study here anymore. I could be attacked by Dementors at any time. If you can't do anything, just transfer me to another school!'
This template first spread from Ravenclaw, but it was quickly copied by other young wizards.
Being attacked by Dementors, not to mention the question of whether you live or die, just fainting or wetting your pants in public would be a social death. Not only would you not be able to survive at Hogwarts, but you wouldn't be able to survive in the British wizarding world.
"It seems Fudge finally couldn't withstand the pressure!"
"Who says otherwise!"
"I just heard them say..."
Terry couldn't even bother eating breakfast and was滔滔不绝 (taotao bu jue - to pour out words incessantly) telling what he had just heard and his own guesses.
The surrounding young wizards were also in a similar state, discussing this matter, and their faces showed obvious excitement.
Obviously, they had won this round. Fudge had made his choice and was going to take the Dementors out of Hogwarts.
After all, if he didn't take the Dementors away, no one would listen to his explanation. Everyone would still be telling their families about the situation.
......
At 6:30 in the evening, the young wizards had gathered in the Great Hall.
The Great Hall had been redecorated today. It couldn't compare to Christmas or Halloween, but it was at the level of the opening day.
Dumbledore and his team of professors were already ready on the high platform. Cornelius Fudge and the pink toad were sitting beside him. Besides them, there were also a few unfamiliar faces.
Unsurprisingly, these were all officials from the Ministry of Magic.
Dumbledore took the lead in standing up. He was still dressed like that, looking at the young wizards below with a smile on his face.
"Students, today, regarding the issue of the Dementors repeatedly attacking Hogwarts, we have to give everyone an explanation!"
Fudge, who had been barely able to maintain a smiling face, instantly stiffened when he heard Dumbledore's words.
Wasn't this obviously giving him a hard time?
I'll remember this grudge!
"Now, let's welcome the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, to the stage."
As he spoke, Dumbledore gave Fudge a smile.
Last time, Ison had killed dozens of Dementors at once, and he thought he was going to be called in for a chat.
Unexpectedly, the young wizards had their parents put pressure on Fudge. Not only did he not have to go to the Ministry of Magic for tea, but Fudge had to give him an explanation, which made Dumbledore feel very good.
Not to mention that Fudge would have to take the Dementors away later.
Fudge forced himself to put on a fake smile and took a step forward. As for the smile Dumbledore had just given him, Fudge had interpreted it as a provocation.
But he had indeed lost this round.
"First of all, I am very sorry for the series of things the Dementors have done!"
As Fudge spoke, he bowed to all the young wizards, his attitude being very low at the moment, trying to look gentle and humble.
"From today onwards, I will take the Dementors away from Hogwarts, ensuring that they will never set foot in Hogwarts again."
"Before, I was too anxious and eager to catch Sirius Black, the most evil prisoner in history, which led me to do many wrong things. I apologize to everyone again here, hoping to gain your understanding!"
As he spoke, Fudge bowed to the young wizards below.
