But next, there will probably be a rainy season. Once a relatively heavy rain comes and the overall water level is raised, most of the fish in the reservoir will escape, which is also a big loss.

So in the near future, Huang Hai has reduced the number of outings and put more attention on the transformation and operation of the camp.

Even if we go out to explore, the harvest is not very big. First of all, we have roughly checked the area of ​​1~2km around the camp, and we have already understood the specific situation. There are not many precious resources, so there is no need to continue exploring.

Every time we go out, at most we can harvest a few squirrels and hares, and most of the time we catch them with traps.

So it seems that there is no need to go out often, let alone spend the whole day exploring in the wild.

You only need to check the trap every day and bring back the prey in the trap.

In order to prevent the arrival of the rainy season, the two first fished out all the fish and shrimp in the reservoir.

There are a total of common foods such as small fish, shrimps, crabs, and snails. There is no need to store small shrimps, crabs, and snails because they are too small and don’t have much meat, so they can be eaten directly.

These two days, they can just improve their meals and cook a pot of seafood noodles. They can also use these fresh seafood to exchange some insect repellent herbs with the "herb-collecting women".

Their source of fresh water is a mountain stream, which flows down from the cracks of the rocks. Although the water quality is very high, there are no fish or shrimp in it.

Therefore, fish and shrimp do not exist in their recipes, which are definitely rare items.

As for the remaining fish, the two will apply a layer of salt, then put them in the fireplace to smoke dry, smoke into small salted fish, and then store them in the underground ice storage.

Although each fish is very small, after hundreds of fish are dried, the number is indeed not small. It fills a small basket. If used as a dish, it should be able to be used for a long time.

Now the layout of the entire camp has been roughly planned by the two. In the place closest to the depths, there is a quaint and small shelter, and on the left of the shelter is the entrance to the underground shelter, which is the main residence of the two.

Behind the shelter is a very large tree. Because it could not be cut down directly earlier, it has been left there, almost completely covering the entire shelter.

Then in front of the shelter, there are two large vegetable plots, occupying a large area of ​​the entire camp. Now there are various crops planted, and there are signs of germination.

And in front of the vegetable garden, there is still an open space, and there is also a big tree growing in this open space, which could not be cut down before, and now it is placed in the camp as a decoration.

Around this tree, the two planned to raise some animals, but so far, they have not found any suitable animals to raise.

Next to the shelter house, there is a small path that is not very wide, and the slope is relatively steep, which can directly lead to the small river below.

This is the layout of the entire camp, which is already very reasonable and full of life, but the two still plan to rest again.

First of all, around, they plan to build a fence around the entire camp.

Because the surrounding circle is a cliff, and it is a 90-degree cliff. The highest point is more than ten meters high from the bottom. If you fall down accidentally, it will be very dangerous.

Therefore, it is very necessary to build a circle of fences to enclose it as a whole, which is equivalent to enclosing this area as your own territory.

However, whether to use bamboo fences or stone fences has become a problem that the two need to consider.

If bamboo fences are used, it should be easier, and even if the speed is faster, after all, it only takes half a day to build successfully.

But the disadvantages are also very obvious, that is, the effect of bamboo fence is relatively weak, and it is more susceptible to corrosion and damage.

The advantage of stone fence is that it is strong and durable, and it is also safer and can be used for a long time.

The only disadvantage is that it is too troublesome to make, and it takes a lot of effort to move a lot of big stones from other places to pile them up. Clay may also be needed during the construction process. This is not a job that can be completed in a day or two.

After careful consideration, the two decided to use the method of combining bamboo fences and stone fences. On the one hand, it is to reduce the workload, and on the other hand, there is an important consideration.

That is, if all stone fences are built, it is likely to cause the drainage effect in the camp to be relatively weak, but if a part of the bamboo fence can be reserved, it can be well drained.

It is equivalent to combining the advantages of both, making the fence of the entire camp more reasonable.

Next, the two began to complete this huge project, and it took almost 5 days to barely build all the stone fences.

The remaining bamboo fences were relatively easy, as long as the bamboo fences were filled in the areas where there were no fences, and it only took a few hours to complete.

The entire camp was directly enclosed, and it seemed that the safety was much improved.

Afterwards, considering that the ground in the camp was all mud, there was no problem in winter, but if it came to spring and summer, the rainy season gradually increased, it would likely cause the ground to be very muddy.

So, the two used the remaining stone slabs to pave the land around the shelter.

The big stones were placed underneath, and the top layer was paved with small stones to form a gravel road, which made the area around the camp look cleaner.
