After enjoying the churros, we headed to an indoor place called Animal Park.

As the name suggests, it was a place where various animals were released, but unlike other amusement parks with animal theme parks, it was a small space mainly comprised of small animals.

Instead, the good thing is that there are many animals that you can touch directly, so for someone like me who loves animals, it was truly satisfying.

Among them, what particularly caught my eye was none other than rabbits.

“Yuna, look at this kid. He’s coming closer to us.”

“I see. I guess you’re not afraid of people.”

Among the rabbits huddled together beyond the low fence that came down to below the knees, one particularly pure white one approached us.

I bent down to watch closely the cute guy who tilted his head with a look in his eyes that didn’t show a hint of wariness, and Yuna also bent down.

The face was so close that it was scary, but the guy still stood there and stared up at us, as if he was looking at his master whom he hadn’t seen in a long time.

“Shall I touch it?”

“That’s okay. Just touch it.”

Although I like animals, I have aversion to touching them carelessly. I guess I have anxiety about what to do if they reject me.

On the other hand, Yuna, who had no qualms about such things, took my arm and led me to the rabbit. Even though there was a shadow over his head, the guy still stood in the same spot, quietly watching us.

As I stroked the white fur with my trembling hands, the soft and warm feeling of the fur was transmitted through my hands.

Wow, this is my first time touching a rabbit and it’s really amazing. It’s similar to a cat or a dog, but there’s a strange difference. I’d say it feels more like jelly.

“You’re so quiet? I guess you really like me.”

Yuna said in a surprised tone, looking at the rabbit that was still docile despite my touch.

Then he reached out and stroked the empty rabbit’s head, causing its ears to perk up and then fall down repeatedly. This guy really has good reactions.

“If you don’t mind, would you like to try giving me a carrot yourself?”

“Oh, thank you.”

Just as we were feeling a bit disappointed, a passing employee handed us each a carrot stick. It was perfect timing.

As soon as I brought the carrot stick right in front of the rabbit’s eyes, the rabbit sniffed it and quickly began to devour the carrot as if it had decided that it was edible.

The carrots were shrinking in real time so much that I could tell just by hearing the sound of them being ground without even seeing them with my own eyes.

“Wow, you really eat so fast.”

Although he may be small in stature, his appetite is unrivaled. This scene reminds me of a popular idol from some place.

As I was watching the rabbit finish off a carrot stick in an instant as if it was amazed, a sound like a balloon deflating was heard from the side.

When I turned my head to the source of the sound, Yuna was looking at me with a pleased smile.

“Why are you laughing like that?”

“No. It’s just that I think it’s been a while since I’ve seen you smile like this.”

“You laughed like a child?”

Was I that happy? Since there’s no mirror, there must be a way to check my expression.

“Yeah, you look happier than when we got off the last ride?”

“… I feel a little embarrassed.”

I felt embarrassed that a man who would become an adult in just a week was laughing at a rabbit, so I averted my gaze, and Yuna grabbed my hand as if to say, “What’s wrong?”

“It’s cute in my eyes, but what? When I get married, should I get a pet?”

It’s a random suggestion, but I welcome it. Yuna doesn’t dislike animals anyway, so it wouldn’t be a big problem if she raised one after getting married.

Unfortunately, I have never raised an animal before because my wife has a hair allergy, but I am confident that I can raise one well because I already have the basic knowledge I gained from videos and such.

I can take care of everything from toilet training to the hassle.

While I was secretly smiling and planning my life after marriage, Yuna suddenly changed her words with a sour expression.

To me, who had such big dreams, this was like a bolt from the blue, so I asked in a trembling voice without thinking. Yuna pouted as she looked at me like that.

“Well, if you have a pet, you won’t pay as much attention to me as you do now.”

And then she puffed out her cheeks and said something full of jealousy, something the old Han Yuna I knew would never have said.

Completely forgetting that the blueprint for the future had been shattered by the cute antics, I unconsciously took back the hand that was petting the rabbit, wrapped my arms around Yuna’s shoulders, and lightly kissed her cheek.

“I’m not asking for permission.”

“Then what is it?”

“Just because they’re cute. It’s the first time I’ve ever heard of a girlfriend being jealous of her pet.”

At my words, Yuna clicked her tongue and leaned her head on my shoulder.

“Okay, just one….”

And then, as if he was still dissatisfied, but with a tone that said he had no choice, he said he would allow it, limiting it to just one.

“Are you going to give permission?”

“I don’t want to be a narrow-minded woman who doesn’t let my husband do what he wants to do.”

I clapped my hands with surprised eyes, not expecting her to change her mind, but Yuna still had her lips pursed and pinched my arm. It didn’t hurt, it was just cute and charming.

“Instead, just play with your pets and neglect me. Then, I know you won’t get any soup.”

“Yes, I will keep that in mind.”

I smiled in response to the sincere warning and kissed Yuna on the cheek again.

The rabbit, who had been staring at us, seemed to have realized that it was not in the right mood for us, so it gave up the carrot stick it was holding in Yuna’s hand and ran away in a flash.

After seeing a few more animals, we decided to go outside as we felt like we had enjoyed most of the things inside.

This amusement park is an impressive place with a theme park divided into indoor and outdoor areas, so you can’t say you’ve enjoyed everything by just visiting one area.

As we arrived at the entrance of the outdoor theme park, the winter wind blowing from afar made us close our clothes even tighter. It seemed that we could understand why there were so many fewer people outdoors than indoors.

Well, on this cold day, you’d rather play in a warm indoor space and then go back, but who would bother going to an outdoor theme park and seeing everything?

If there are such people, it would be only in cases like ours where they came with the purpose of exploring the outdoors from the beginning.

“It’s getting colder as it gets dark, right?”

“Oh, I guess I should have brought hand warmers.”

We each bought a cup of warm coffee for times like this, but the hand that wasn’t holding the coffee was red and frozen.

As we passed through the entrance and entered the outdoor theme park, we were greeted by rides that were much larger than those inside. These were representative attractions that could be considered symbols of an amusement park, such as roller coasters and gyro drops.

“Siyoon, is there any ride you want to ride here?”

“There’s nothing I’m particularly attracted to, but if there’s something you want to ride, I’ll ride it with you.”

Anyway, after enjoying myself indoors, I didn’t feel like riding anything else. To be honest, I just wanted to sit somewhere, have a cup of coffee, and pass the time before heading back.

But I was afraid that if I said that, Yuna, who wanted to play more because of me, would ask to go back, so I said something like, “Type whatever you want.” Then, my girlfriend smiled and looked at me.

“Then let’s ride together for the last time. Actually, I’m cold too, so I don’t want to walk around any more.”

Since it would be a shame to come to an amusement park and not ride that, I assumed that Yuna would want to ride the roller coaster, so I asked her casually.
