After taking a short break, we started to enjoy other rides to our heart’s content.

It’s not that Yuna doesn’t have a tolerance for ghosts or horror movies, but she’s not the type that can’t enjoy thrills, so she had no problem riding the rides except for the haunted house.

Plus, we had a special pass that allowed us to skip the line, so there was nothing stopping us. Thanks to that, we literally felt like we were running around like unbridled foals.

So, we enjoyed another attraction and came out together, sharing our satisfying impressions.

The ride we just rode was a 4D type ride, and the premise was that you were the main character of a mecha movie and fought alongside robots. When the building collapsed, you could feel the heat, and when you fell into the sea, water spurted out in front of you, and it was a very realistic ride.

Above all, thanks to the 4D experience glasses, the robots and building fragments that popped out in front of you in three dimensions boasted a surprisingly high quality even though you knew that they were just pieces of graphics.

Personally, I think this was the most fun ride I had today.

“You’re a boy too, so you like robot-like things?”

Yuna asked me in a subtle way, giggling repeatedly, as if she sensed that I was the most excited I had been all day.

I felt a little embarrassed by those words and unconsciously scratched my cheek, but when I thought about it carefully, it wasn’t something I really needed to hide, so I nodded.

“I do like it. I used to watch a lot of mecha anime.”

As for when I first watched animation, it was around the time I was in 6th grade. After I entered middle school, I liked comics and novels more, so I started watching them more.

But when I opened my eyes wide in surprise at Yuna talking as if she remembered that time clearly, my girlfriend looked at me with a bewildered expression.

Well, I also have most of the memories of what happened with Yuna in my head, even if they weren’t all that impactful. It’s to the point where I’m sick of them myself.

On the other hand, memories that I experienced alone are often easily forgotten, even if they were quite big events. For example, I later remembered the incident of breaking my arm in elementary school through my mother.

In that sense, memories seem to be more vivid for us when we experience something ‘together’ rather than ‘alone’. No matter how trivial it may be. It’s really amazing.

“Now that we’ve ridden a lot of rides, let’s take a break. Let’s eat some churros!”

After wandering around for a while, Yuna suggested a belated rest.

As we arrived in front of the churros shop with Yuna’s big picture, the staff greeted us with a sales smile. The menu was filled with dishes I had never seen before.

After finishing my order, I tried to take out my card naturally, but Yuna quickly intervened and held out her card, preventing me from doing so.

“The two churros you ordered are here.”

The churros came out not long after I finished paying. It seems that the churros that are the main part were made in advance, so they came out early. I like it because they are quite warm.

I wasn’t thirsty either, so I decided to just eat churros. If I’m really thirsty, I’ll eat everything and then go to a nearby cafe.

“Yeah, it’s delicious. It tastes even better than the last time I had it.”

Yuna took a bite of the churro and smiled brightly as she put the second bite into her mouth. Well, unlike me, Yuna used to go around with Kim Soo-bin and eat things like desserts, so she must have tried churros before.

It’s strange, I feel like I’m the only country bumpkin. Anyway, let’s go eat somewhere.

“What about you?”

“Is it okay? This is tastier than I thought.”

Unlike Yuna’s, I took a bite of the original churros that had nothing on it, and for the first time I felt the warm sensation and crunchy texture.

Following that, the sweetness of sugar and the scent of cinnamon filled my mouth, but it wasn’t too sweet, but rather just the right amount, so I could taste the unique taste of churros. Overall, I found the taste to be quite satisfactory.

As I nodded my head while shoving the second bite into my mouth, Yuna smiled brightly, brushing her chest as if in relief.

“Really? That’s good. I thought you might not like it since you don’t really like sweets.”

“It’s okay because it’s not that sweet. It doesn’t have a greasy feel because of the cinnamon scent.”

Since I prefer the cinnamon flavor to the point where I order a separate cappuccino at a cafe, the unique taste of churros suited me very well. Contrary to its appearance that looks like it’s soaked in oil, as I said, it’s not too greasy.

“Then do you want to try this too? It tastes good because you can chew the almonds.”

“Okay.”

As I was halfway through the churros, Yuna offered me the dark chocolate with almonds on top.

To be honest, I wasn’t really interested in it because it was covered in chocolate and I thought it would be too sweet, but I couldn’t refuse it since it was offered to me, so I decided to take a bite. The fact that I like nuts also played a part.

“Is this okay too?”

Fortunately, this tasted pretty good, contrary to my worries. The chocolate on the outside wasn’t overly sweet, and it had an appropriate amount of sweetness, as if the sweetness had been intentionally reduced like bitter chocolate.

When I let go of the hand that was holding the churros, Yuna, who was about to take it back, suddenly burst into laughter.

As I tilted my head at the sound of a deflating balloon, Yuna gestured toward me.

“You idiot, come here.”

As I approached Yuna’s face without knowing what was going on, her slender fingers came right up to my eyes and brushed past my mouth.

It was only then that I saw a piece of almond and a lump of dark chocolate on the tip of Yuna’s index finger. Perhaps a piece of chocolate that hadn’t melted yet was still stuck to the corner of my mouth.

It seems like only yesterday that I was scolding Yuna for always asking me what I was doing when I wasn’t even a kid, but when I saw myself reenacting that, I felt embarrassed and involuntarily averted my gaze.

Then, Yuna, who was playfully smiling and wagging her finger at me as if telling me to look at this, brought it to her lips and quickly put the almonds and chocolate on her finger into her mouth.

“Yeah, it’s definitely delicious.”
