Back room: I deliver courier to the entity
Chapter 234
Entity number: 101-Shaper
habitat: Level 28, more.
Description
Entity 101, also known as the shapeshifter, is a group of four humanoid entities with an average height of about 4 feet (except for the fourth shapeshifter, estimated at 8 feet 14 inches).
Wearing armor suits that appear to have originated in Europe between the 14th and 16th centuries, the shapeshifters each possessed a unique weapon and they demonstrated proficiency in their use.
The first shape-maker wields a sword and shield, the second formist wields a two-handed battle axe, the third formist wields a spear, and the fourth formist wields a pair of daggers.
According to the shapeshifters themselves, each of them possessed a "souvenir", somehow attributed to the Red Knights, recovering them in the places of battle with the notorious entities after them.
The first shapeshifter possesses a torn red knight's cloak, which he uses as a scarf.
The second shapeshifter's axe blade was welded with fragments of the Red Knight's blade.
The third shape-taker wore the Red Knight's left glove, which was already attached to his hand.
Similar to the third shapeshifter, the fourth formist wears the red knight's epaulettes, which fit his body.
In addition, the second shapeshifter is proven to possess an amulet wrapped around his glove.
The amulet has gold trim and is fitted with emerald gemstones.
It is believed that this is the source of the shapeshifts' ability to travel in the back room so easily.
According to the description of the wanderers rescued by the shape-shapers, the emerald will glow, the shape-shaped will emit the same green aura as the emerald, and then the second shape-maker will raise his hand and a crack will open to another level.
However, there does not seem to be much conscious control over the destination, as wanderers report being teleported to a more dangerous level than the level they were previously in.
In addition, this artifact is not actually believed to be related to the Red Knight, and its true source has not yet been determined.
The shapeshifters do their best to prove their friendliness to the wanderers.
Their targets are much like Red Knights in that they want to help people who fall into the back room and protect them from possible dangers.
They sometimes risk their lives to protect homeless people, showing a sense of honor and courage.
Strangely, whenever the shapeshifters are not busy with their duties, all but the second shapeshifter have a childlike, innocent, playful manner.
On an individual basis, each shapeshifter has his own unique personality:
the first shapeshifter acts as the leader of the group, since the others always follow his orders even in fierce battles.
He interacts the most with the wanderers in his team, informing them where they are and doing his best to help them calm down.
He tries to be kind and respectful to everyone he interacts with.
In contrast, the second shaper is introverted and quiet, acting more as an observer of his environment.
He had great distrust and hatred for other entities and was quick to draw his arms at the sight of one.
Even if the first shapeform assured him that there was no threat, it would be difficult for him to calm down, unless the other two shapeshifters also reassured him.
The third shapeshifter is proud and loud, and tends to boast about the group's achievements.
He is most likely to rush into battle first. The Third Former also has a habit of interrupting the First Former, especially when explaining the back room to the new wanderer, as he tends to provide simpler explanations than lengthy explanations of the First Former.
The fourth shaper is the most childlike and naughty of the group. She loves to play games and is very sociable.
Despite the good meaning, her curiosity can sometimes lead the team into dangerous situations.
She also seems to have the highest admiration for the Red Knight.
In general, the shapeshifters seem to be very close, calling each other "brothers" and "sisters".
This seems to indicate that the shapeshifters have a bond similar to militaristic comradeship.
They work together in battle like a well-oiled machine, capable of overwhelming their opponents despite their small stature.
However, they are often beaten and bruised afterwards and sometimes have to drag one of their own to safety.
But even after all this, they are proud of their victory and celebrate in their own time.
Even if they can't kill the threat, they try to weaken it as much as possible and then retreat to another level.
The
shape of the bioformer is humanoid; However, the full extent of their humanity cannot be determined.
This is partly due to their refusal to take off their armor, either by choice or unable to do so.
Compared to the abilities of ordinary people, the speed, strength and agility of the shapeshifters have increased.
Even with such an enhancement, they may still struggle with more violent and ruthless opponents.
They can take serious damage in combat and seem to recover fully soon.
Theoretically, the abilities of the Shapeshifter are somehow related to the Red Knight, although this has not been confirmed.
The shapeshifters have only recently surfaced, and the first sightings of them were recorded about eight months ago.
Many first-hand accounts have reported that the Shapeshifter rescued the Wanderer from other entities, or simply roamed the levels.
They can be seen at almost every level.
Do's and Don'ts
:
When you encounter shapeshifters, there are a few things you can do to earn their respect.
Shapeshifters like to have fun in their free time, so playing with their games can be used as a team-building exercise.
One can earn the respect of the Third Formist by fighting alongside him in battle, as he seems to like wanderers with a fighting spirit.
Shapeshifters as a group love to tell stories, especially the fourth.
Therefore, sharing your own story is another way to earn their respect.
Note:
Theoretically, the shapeshifters may be imitating the Red Knight in an attempt to get his attention.
However, with the exception of the Fourth Shapeshifter, most of them do not like comparisons with the Red Knight.
Therefore, it is not recommended to mention the red knights around them.
