"No!"

Almost instantly, Peter Parker recognized the person approaching from that hazy yet familiar sensation. It was the girl he desperately wanted to protect! Yet now, she was being impaled by a sharp metal plate, sent flying backward to crash against the wall in the corner. Peter could even smell the coppery scent of blood filling the air.

Thick.

Rich.

Forgetting about the Lizard, Peter leaped to Gwen's side in just a couple of bounds. He knelt on the ground, staring at the metal plate piercing through the girl's abdomen, his eyes unfocused with extreme fear. His heart was filled with terror, afraid that Gwen would lose her life because of him, just like his Uncle Ben Parker! He couldn't accept that outcome!

"Don't do this! Don't scare me!" Peter knelt beside Gwen, reaching out to stop the gruesome wound, to prevent the massive blood loss. But his hand hovered there three or four times, unable to actually touch the wound. He didn't even dare touch the sharp metal plate, fearing it would worsen Gwen's injuries and cause more bleeding.

"Is she someone important to you?" The Lizard seemed to regain some clarity and composure. He didn't press his attack but stood there, blankly watching the heartbroken Peter and the dying Spider-Woman Gwen.

"Don't blame me. You see, humans are such fragile creatures! The slightest injury can mean the difference between life and death. So, what I'm doing is right! To have everyone join a glorious evolution! To become a new race! Intelligent, powerful, with strong vitality! If she's transformed, perhaps there's still hope for her."

The Lizard's clarity and composure quickly vanished. His tone turned cold, indifferent, agitated, filled with the unmistakable, ruthless, and fanatical obsession to achieve his goals! He now looked at Peter mockingly. "Are you still going to stop me? If I succeed, maybe she can still be saved! Even if she becomes a lizard, at least she'll live. If you stop me, you're pushing her towards death. Only my serum can save her now. If it's successful, her wounds will heal quickly. So, what's your choice?"

"I…" Peter was about to speak when he noticed Gwen's condition changing.

A layer of gray skin spread over Gwen's white spider-suit, and her pale face was covered by the gray skin, revealing only an alien-like face.

"Symbiote!"

Seeing this, Peter immediately realized, he almost forgot that Gwen's body had a symbiote coexisting with her! And that symbiote had the ability to heal wounds! When he was covered in injuries, it had healed him at Gwen's request!

Sure enough, the wound that had made Peter's heart pound with fear began to heal, no longer bleeding. Even as Peter watched in stunned disbelief, Gwen, now active in her symbiote's original form, grabbed the metal plate inside her with a pair of gray claws, and little by little, pulled it out of her body under the astonished gaze of Peter and the Lizard.

The gruesome wound on her body was quickly covered by a layer of gray skin, making it look as if she had never been injured.

"That's great, Gwen! It's really great that you're okay!" Peter rushed over in ecstasy, only to have the symbiote Gwen, now a head taller than him, grab him by the neck.

"It's me, Gwen." Peter felt the strength in the claws grabbing his neck was terrifying, and he was puzzled. In his understanding, Gwen had always been gentle, and even when angry, she would never use such a violent way of choking him. He vaguely felt that something was wrong.

"Of course I know it's you!" The symbiote Quiet's voice flowed from her opening and closing mouth, her tone full of disdain, and her eyes filled with strong contempt.

"I'm sorry." Peter realized he had confused the current dominant consciousness when he heard the unfamiliar voice. Gwen seemed to have hit the wall, and the injuries on her body caused her to faint from the pain. Now controlling Gwen's body should be Miss Quiet, the symbiote within her. "I'm just worried about Gwen."

"Stay away from her in the future, weakling!" Quiet released Peter, whom she had been holding like a chick, and glanced around. The Lizard had taken the opportunity to run away. But no need to worry, Quiet sniffed the air with her nose. She had quite a few messy genetic abilities.

Finding the right direction, Quiet's big mouth grinned into a ferocious smile, and her tall body shot out like a cannonball. No one could hurt her little Gwen and get away with it, Quiet wouldn't allow it!

The shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

Quiet perfectly executed this choice. All the tables and walls along the way were like they had been ravaged by a storm, shattered and broken. No obstacle could stop Quiet's progress. Even the thickest walls revealed a human-shaped hole after Quiet crashed through.

Peter Parker almost widened his eyes, watching Quiet disappear in a whirlwind of destruction before him, leaving behind only a mess and rising dust.

"God, Gwen, you never told me your symbiote had such great strength and destructive desire!"

If he got married in the future and made Gwen angry, he would definitely be diligently educated by the symbiote Quiet, right?

Peter shuddered. His emotions had fluctuated too violently in a short period, and the development of events had been too tortuous. Peter was still apprehensive. Although Quiet told him to stay away, he still followed worriedly. In any case, even if he couldn't be the main force in the battle, being a good support shouldn't be a problem, right?

His webs, to be fair, could still restrict the Lizard's movements. Then, if he and Quiet joined forces, they could solve this trouble.

"Is this normal?" Snoke, watching some scenes inside Oscorp from some drones not far away, felt more and more question marks on his head.

"Obviously, it's not normal! With that madwoman around, the style can't be normal!" Venom said to Snoke inside the battle suit through the intelligent system.

"Maybe I need to go help?" Snoke asked Venom, who was attached to his battle suit, for his opinion.

"My suggestion is, don't go!" Venom was silent for a moment before giving an answer. "Quiet is a madwoman!"
