#45 - Titan, Hulk [Part 2]
"What's this?" Blonsky looked at the massive metal creation before him, his eyes gleaming with fervent light. No one could refuse this big guy, especially someone who loved war and battle!
"Titan." General Ross was pleased with the fervor in Blonsky's eyes. "I went to great lengths, leveraging a lot of connections and money, to snatch it from the hands of some organization's leader. This is the only one! Do you remember the battle at Stark Industries a few months ago? Three of these almost destroyed everything."
"A Stark Industries product?" Blonsky's eyes lit up. He had to admit, although Stark Industries had gradually withdrawn from the arms industry, its weapons were still the soldiers' favorites.
"That's none of your concern." General Ross frowned. He stepped forward, reaching out to gently stroke the cold metal body. "I spent over eight hundred million dollars to get it. It's our trump card now!"
"You want to use it against that monster?" Blonsky asked.
"I insist that the strength of the soldiers themselves is the right path, but that doesn't stop me from using other weapons to achieve my goals." General Ross patted Titan's thick metal leg. "I'm also very curious to know if this metal giant can capture the Hulk."
"Who do you want to control it?" Blonsky also stepped forward, stroking Iron Titan's cold metal body bit by bit. He suddenly felt that this metal-like, inanimate object was alive! It would be an invincible tyrant on the battlefield! A terrifying nightmare! Blonsky wanted to be its controller!
From the first moment he saw it, that's what he thought!
"How old are you now? 45?" General Ross asked softly, arms crossed.
"39 years old," Blonsky replied.
"At this age, you can feel your strength failing you, can't you? With your record, you can be promoted to colonel and leave the front lines."
"I am a warrior, always will be," Blonsky replied even more firmly.
"You can control it." General Ross stared at Blonsky for a long time before finally giving the answer Blonsky wanted. "You can familiarize yourself with it during this time. Before the next mission, I hope you can control it proficiently. We don't have much time left."
...
"Iron Titan Series Number 005 ownership change.
New controller: Emil Blonsky.
Affiliated department: Army.
Activate Lockdown Protocol?"
In the Heberon Laboratory, White Queen's prompt sounded in Luke's ear. Some familiar names piqued Luke's interest.
Emil Blonsky?
Abomination?
He actually became the controller of the Iron Titan series?
While interested, Luke's trust in Nick Fury, who had once assured him that the Iron Titan series would only serve in S.H.I.E.L.D., had plummeted to negative numbers. Did he think that without using Heberon's intelligent control system, Heberon wouldn't be able to monitor the mechs in any way?
Knowing that S.H.I.E.L.D. was a big pit, how could Luke not tamper with the creations he sold? He wanted S.H.I.E.L.D. to spend more money buying Heberon's products. Even if they all fell into the hands of Hydra within S.H.I.E.L.D., and were secretly used against him one day, he would still enjoy seeing the dramatic scene of their weapons malfunctioning, Iron Titans breaking down, or even turning against them.
"Grant permission." Luke rejected White Queen's inquiry about activating the lockdown protocol. "From now on, back up and upload all of Blonsky's combat data records to your core server."
Someone was helping to provide data and combat experience, what was Luke dissatisfied with? He also guessed that Iron Titan 005 might face the Hulk, that infinitely powerful monster, one day. He was also very curious to know to what extent the mass-produced Iron Titan could fight the Hulk. The data collected in the process was also a valuable asset to Luke.
...
Culver University.
After General Ross once again tracked down Dr. Bruce Banner's whereabouts, he decisively led his men to the scene. He didn't alert the enemy, but after making sufficient preparations and arrangements, he surrounded the entire university before leading his men into the campus to begin the search.
Bruce Banner, who had been fighting wits with General Ross for many years, quickly noticed the anomaly after General Ross led his men into the campus. In fact, if it hadn't been for his lover being distracted, he would have noticed it sooner. However, with the outside completely surrounded, it was now as difficult as ascending to heaven for him to escape.
To make matters worse, some soldiers had already spotted him and were beginning to surround him, gradually narrowing his range of activity and forcing him to move towards the encirclement outside the building. Some attacks nearly injured Bruce Banner, which gradually made him unable to suppress the violent anger in his heart.
Seeing a large green figure jump down from a high-rise building, Ross smiled as he looked at the metal giant in front of him. "Are you ready?"
"Of course." Emil Blonsky reached out and grabbed the metal greatsword that General Ross had created for him. The giant metal body began to run, colliding fiercely with the oncoming Hulk.
What kind of scene would it be when a green giant over two meters and nearly three meters tall collided with a metal giant over three meters tall?
With the engine running at full power, the Hulk actually staggered back two steps, and then Blonsky, seizing the opportunity, swung the door-like metal greatsword, heavily slashing at his limbs.
"Roar!"
The Hulk, in pain, grabbed the metal greatsword that Blonsky had slashed over, and when his other fist wanted to strike him, Blonsky, who was extremely experienced in combat, sidestepped and tripped him, making the Hulk's figure unsteady again.
In the past, when the difference in strength was vast, the Hulk could of course overcome all obstacles with one force, and Blonsky's combat skills could only be used to save his own life. But now, when Blonsky was piloting the Iron Titan, and the size and strength could barely compete, then Blonsky's rich combat experience came in handy.
Blonsky used joint techniques and the like with practiced ease. Although they didn't have much effect, they still seemed to frustrate the Hulk in conjunction with the surrounding soldiers.
Of course, in the process, the Iron Titan controlled by Blonsky was also knocked away many times. If it weren't for the Iron Titan's shock absorption system and material protection being really strong, it might have been directly dismantled by the Hulk, who was filled with anger after being knocked away. Even so, Blonsky received a series of warning prompts from the intelligent system.
