American comics: Starting with Luke the Maker

#274 - Restart War: Ending and Return

The sky was bright.

The dark clouds had already dissipated.

The sky was overcast with a hint of gray.

On the ruins of the battlefield, a cylindrical pillar with a diameter of about four meters and a height of about ten meters was deeply embedded in the earth.

Around the black cylinder were the Avengers and others.

"Is this the end?" Natasha looked at the black cylinder in front of her, her voice still carrying some disbelief.

"If there are no accidents, then this should be the end." Strange also breathed a heavy sigh of relief. The pressure Thanos brought him was no less than that of the big shots around him, although there was still a gap in strength. In a one-on-one situation, any of them would be easily defeated by him. Even though Luke and their fathers had rapidly increased their strength and energy.

Fortunately, the opponent was not in perfect condition, and their cooperation was decent. Most importantly, they didn't need to kill him, but only needed to find the right opportunity to seal him.

With Luke's technical support, this was still possible.

"Can this pillar really hold him?" Hawkeye Clint wanted to touch the pillar to feel it, but Strange controlled the corner of his Cloak of Levitation to bind his hand.

"Don't touch it. Your body can't withstand this thing." Strange stopped him. "It will absorb all your flesh and blood, along with your spirit and soul."

"Just need to prevent him from appearing again." The Captain, whose shield was damaged in the battle, looked at the city buildings that had become ruins and were severely damaged, and sighed.

If this level of battle happened again, he didn't think they could handle it.

"Don't worry, Luke's technology can even seal dimensional demons. Thanos, compared to some dimensional demons, still has a gap in strength and life level." Strange comforted them.

He really wasn't lying. Luke had taken the combination of technology and magic to the extreme. There was more than one powerful life that had fallen on this seal pillar, with strength comparable to Thanos, or even stronger and more difficult to deal with than Thanos.

"Thank you for your help. If it weren't for you, we would probably have died in battle." The Captain sincerely thanked Strange and the others. The feeling of escaping from a desperate situation was too profound, so profound that even now, just thinking about it in his mind, he still felt a strong sense of gratitude.

"He's also a trouble for our universe." Strange shrugged. He could imagine how ugly Luke's face would be if Thanos really collected all the Infinity Stones and snapped his fingers in their universe, wiping out half of all life.

"We have to leave. I can't be away for too long." Dispersing the golden light on his body and stroking the ring on his hand, which had changed from flowing and colorful to calm and silent, Rogers stepped forward and said.

"I wanted to treat you to a drink or something." Mature Thor hooked his arm around Young Thor's shoulder. Hearing Rogers' words, he turned his head in surprise and asked.

"Let's talk about drinking and gathering after a stable channel is established. We've wasted enough time here. We can't be sure how much time has passed over there." Rogers shook his head. They were quickly summoned to help, and he had hastily explained many things at hand. Although there was an intelligent system to manage things, he was still not at ease.

Strange waved his hand gently, and the black cylinder trembled twice on the ground. Then, lifted by magical energy, it floated up.

"Where's Stark?" Strange wrapped the black cylinder in magical energy and floated it beside him. He looked around and turned his gaze to Rogers: "Did you notify him, Captain?"

"He's helping his counterpart here. We can leave first and let him take a business trip here." The Captain had obviously communicated with Stark through the ring.

"Okay, but my suggestion is that before they condense the Infinity Stones and snap their fingers to fix everything, it's best to let Stark go home first. I can't be sure if the Infinity Stones' correction will cause any accidents due to some deviations in thought." Strange reminded him. After all, inter-universal travel is also very strange and troublesome for the Supreme Mage.

After receiving a response from Mature Thor and the others, Strange, Rogers, and Young Thor came to Frank, who was waiting on the side. From beginning to end, Frank had not communicated with the Avengers here. He was just calculating whether this business trip could offset his debt to Luke.

The four stood together. Rogers held up his ring and called out to the white void in the sky. A dazzling light lit up from the void, and then a dazzling beam of light slammed down on the ground with overwhelming force, enveloping Rogers and the others. When the beam of light dissipated, Rogers and the others had also disappeared.

...

"Damn it, it feels like we hit something!"

Inside the cosmic dimensional channel opened by the Rainbow Bridge, Strange keenly sensed that the Rainbow Bridge had hit something. This made his heart jump. If something happened to the Rainbow Bridge at this time, they might not die immediately, but finding their way home again would be despairing enough.

Fortunately, everything was normal afterward.

The time inside the Rainbow Bridge is not connected to the outside.

When their figures were spewed out by the light and stood firmly on the solid ground, Strange breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

"Finally back safely." Looking at everything familiar around him, Strange felt a sense of homecoming. Seeing Luke waiting for them in front, he felt even more at ease.

"The matter is resolved. This is Thanos' seal pillar." Strange stepped forward, and the black cylinder behind him floated forward with his steps. With a gesture, it floated in front of Luke.

"This issue can wait, I want to ask, where's the Captain? Why didn't he come back? Also, who is that person? I don't remember the team teleporting such a little girl." Luke waved his hand and threw the black cylinder sealing Thanos into the pile of mechanical constructs floating behind him. He pointed to the back of Strange and asked.

"The Captain is right... Damn!" Strange turned his head and found that Captain Steve Rogers was indeed missing, replaced by a strange little girl. "Who are you?"

"That's what I want to ask! Why am I here?" The girl looked at Strange's face with undisguised disgust.

PS: Thanks to the reward from classmate Silent Peak.

PS1: I'll update two thousand words today. I'm thinking about the plot, whether to open up other universes, such as robbing an emotional spectrum from the neighbor, a battle between genuine and pirated rings, etc. But the problem is, I'm not familiar with the plot next door...
