Chapter 1941 Becoming a Buddha immediately

Chapter 1941 Becoming a Buddha immediately
In the Western Wilderness, the Great Leiyin Temple, the Arhats of the Ten Directions and the Bodhisattvas of the Five Directions all gathered here. The Buddha's light shone everywhere, evolving a pure land on earth. As the contemporary Buddha of Buddhism, Yishi sat on the main seat. They all paid attention to the Merit Pool in the center of the hall, in which the traces of Bai Chan and his companions were reflected.

"After going through eighty-one trials and tribulations, Bai Chan finally achieved perfection."

"The Demon Sect's fortune has been ruined, and our Buddhist Sect should flourish."

Seeing that Bai Chan and others had survived the last catastrophe, smiles appeared on the faces of many Arhats and Bodhisattvas in the hall. Today, the Buddhist journey to the West has finally come to an end, and the next issue is the aftermath. When everything has returned to perfection and the evolution of destiny has been completed, all of them will benefit.

"Amitabha, well done, well done. Now that the kalpas have ended, I ask the Buddha to open the door of convenience and lead the Buddha's son back to me, so that I can spread the Mahayana Dharma and save the world from suffering."

Chanting the Buddha's name, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva turned his gaze to the future. The Buddhist sect had been planning the journey to the West for a long time and had invested a lot of resources. Now it was time to reap the rewards. Once Bai Chan, a disciple of Buddha, returned, the Buddhist sect would begin to truly refine the luck that originally belonged to the demon sect. From then on, the Buddha would grow and the demon would decline.

Hearing this, Yishi nodded.

"As it should be!"

As soon as the words came out, the void twisted and an invisible passage quietly took shape.

Soon, Bai Chan, Liushazi, Shihou, Song Zhong, and Longma arrived outside the Great Leiyin Temple. Following the guidance of a mysterious being, they stepped into this first Buddhist temple. At this moment, the luck between heaven and earth began to change dramatically, attracting the attention of many immortals and gods, and Bai Chan and others also underwent some kind of transformation.

"Luck?"

Song Zhong raised his brows slightly with emotion. He benefited a lot from this journey to the West. With the help of the white bone relic, he has truly realized the Vajra Heart. However, compared to him, the one who gained the most from this trip was Bai Chan, a Buddhist.

With good fortune upon him, Bai Chan suddenly stopped as he looked at the sacred Leiyin Main Hall right before his eyes.

"What is Buddha?"

As a thought arose, all kinds of Buddhist principles came to mind. Bai Chan sat on the ground and fell into enlightenment.

Seeing this scene, not only the stone monkeys and other beings who were traveling with them were shocked and puzzled, but even the many Arhats and Bodhisattvas in the hall were full of surprise. This was somewhat different from their original expectations.

"He actually realized the truth? But I don't know what he realized."

"It seems that this Buddhist disciple is truly extraordinary, with a natural Buddha nature and good fortune. He may soon be able to attain the fruit of a Bodhisattva."

Looking carefully at the enlightened Bai Chan, many Arhats and Bodhisattvas talked about it. Although they knew something about Bai Chan, the Buddhist disciple, it was not much. Now that they saw him, they felt that he was indeed extraordinary and might really become a Buddha in the future.

And on the main seat, looking at Bai Chan who had attained enlightenment, Yishi frowned slightly. He vaguely realized that Bai Chan's enlightenment this time was not simple.

"Is he really the one chosen by the Buddha to bear the fruit? In the past or in the future?"

Thoughts arise and disappear, and I try to deduce them throughout my life, but I don’t gain much.

"It seems that the teaching of the Dharma will have to wait a little longer."

As soon as the thought came down, Bai Chan's perception was not interrupted, and he waited silently.

According to the original plan, Buddhism will teach Bai Chan the true Buddhist scriptures, and then grant them the status of Buddhist Bodhisattvas and bless them with Buddhist fortune. When they return with the Buddhist scriptures and spread Buddhism in the northern wilderness, their cultivation will naturally improve due to cause and effect. Even Bai Chan, a mortal, will truly reach the realm of Bodhisattva in a very short time, and his future will be bright.

Time passed, and it was unknown how long it had been before Bai Chan realized the truth of heaven and earth, but he was still not awake.

Boom! Thunder exploded, dark clouds gathered, and it suddenly started to rain from the sky. At first it was as light as cow hair, but it became heavier and heavier, accompanied by strong winds, as if it was going to blow away Bai Chan's thin figure.

Seeing this scene, all the Buddhist masters in the hall were stunned. You know, this is Leiyin Temple. Unless the Buddha has an intention, ordinary wind and rain will never be able to reach here.

Thinking of this, many people couldn't help but cast their eyes towards Yishi. However, Yishi didn't care about these glances at all. He looked up at the world, with a hint of surprise between his brows.

"Heaven and earth are in sync, but no one knows what this Buddhist has realized, but he has caused heaven and earth to create disasters in an attempt to interrupt his enlightenment."

The voice was vague, and when everyone was in doubt, seeing through the essence of the matter, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva spoke. His eyes fell on Bai Chan, his expression was somewhat solemn. Those who have attained enlightenment are often blessed by heaven, and this kind of calamity is not common. He wanted to help Bai Chan, but in the end he did nothing. Although he could block the wind and rain for Bai Chan, it would also ruin his opportunity.

And just when the wind and rain were blowing, a mysterious aura quietly diffused from Bai Chan's body. It was at this moment that a tree seed took root behind it. It broke through the soil, faced the wind, and in the blink of an eye it turned into a big tree, using itself as an umbrella to protect Bai Chan from the wind and rain.

"The Bodhi tree."

Looking at this huge tree that appeared out of nowhere, everyone became more and more surprised and suspicious. This Bodhi tree has a great symbolic meaning in Buddhism.

Phew, with the Bodhi tree providing shelter from wind and rain, Bai Chan’s enlightenment continued. However, not long after, a poisonous snake suddenly approached Bai Chan from nowhere.

The Bodhi tree is a dead object that can shelter from wind and rain, but it cannot stop the poisonous snake. The snake itself is a foreign species and is extremely poisonous. If the mortal white cicada is bitten by it, it will surely die.

Seeing this, many high-ranking Buddhist practitioners became nervous. Success was just around the corner, and the Buddhists could not afford to get into trouble at this time. However, looking at the Buddha who remained motionless, they ultimately did nothing.

The golden roc spread its wings. When the poisonous snake opened its mouth and was about to bite the cicada, a golden roc emerged from the branches of the bodhi tree, swooped down, easily caught the poisonous snake, brought it back to the tree, and shared it and ate it, showing its handsomeness and might.

"Golden-winged Roc, I never thought it was such a strange species."

With their sharp eyes, everyone recognized the whereabouts of the Golden Peng. However, before they could breathe a sigh of relief, a ground dragon suddenly turned over and tried to overturn the white cicada. In such a situation, neither the Bodhi tree nor the Golden Peng were able to stop it.

Seeing this scene, everyone couldn't help but frown, and at this moment, a six-tusked white jade elephant appeared and suppressed the earthquake with its own power.

With the triple protection of the Bodhi tree, the golden roc, and the six-tusked white jade elephant, Bai Chan finally got a moment of peace and went further in enlightenment. However, at some point, his life fire began to weaken, and his body began to turn into jade, as if it was about to turn into a piece of jade.

"Not good. He has attained too deep a level of enlightenment and has been tainted by the aura of the Tao. His mortal body cannot bear it."

After seeing something, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's expression changed drastically. At this time, Bai Chan had already entered the Tao deeply and could not be called back.

"It's really a disaster."

With complicated thoughts, Puxian had no good idea for a moment. He could only look at Yishi, but Yishi remained motionless. It was at this time that a golden cicada appeared on the shoulder of the white cicada, and its screaming sound matched the breath of the white cicada.

With the guidance of the golden cicada, the white cicada quietly broke through the confusion in his heart.

"The Buddha is in our hearts. All spirits can become Buddhas. Everyone is his own Buddha!"

After realizing the fundamental truth, Bai Chan's faltering life fire suddenly ignited, and his aura began to surge wildly.

On this day, Buddhist chanting was heard in the Leiyin Temple for seven days without interruption. Moreover, the light of the destiny star descended, evolving various strange phenomena. On this day, Bai Chan attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Once he was enlightened, he integrated the accumulation of hundreds of lifetimes, forged a golden body, and became a Buddha instantly.
