Chapter 92 092. Charing Cross Station
At noon, the Hogwarts Express arrives at Platform 9 3/4 of King's Cross Station in London.

Scott and the others took off their wizard robes and changed into Muggle clothes and got out of the car together.

"Milton."

A low voice came.

Scott and the others followed the sound and saw a wizard in a dark wizard robe with a gloomy face strode over.

"Oh, it's my dad."

Milton whispered.

Mr. Graves stepped forward, glanced at Scott and the others coldly, and said directly to Milton, "Let's go."

His indifferent attitude made Scott and the three a little embarrassed.

They were still hesitating whether they should be more polite and take the initiative to greet him, but he had already turned and left.

"Sorry." Milton looked at the three of them apologetically, "My dad he..."

"Hurry up and follow."

Mr. Graves turned and urged Milton.

"Go, see you after the holidays."

Scott smiled and waved at Milton.

"Goodbye."

Milton smiled reluctantly and quickly followed in Mr. Graves' footsteps, and the father and son quickly disappeared from the crowd.

"That's Mr. Graves?" Eddie whispered incredulously. "What happened? He wasn't like this during the summer!"

Of course, Scott and Roger do not know the answer to this question.

"Remember, he was kind and friendly to us during the summer vacation, and thanked us for being friends with Milton!"

Eddie's mouth didn't stop.

"Looking at how he looks now, I think he looks at least ten years older, with permanent creases on his brows..."

"Let's go." Scott patted Eddie on the shoulder. "Let's get out of the platform first."

"Ok."

Eddie smacked his lips and stopped talking about Mr. Graves.

"I'm just a little worried about Milton," he said. "Did something happen to his family? I think that's why he chose to give up music."

"Maybe, but we can't do anything, can we?" Roger said helplessly.

"Caccini!"

He ran to the other side of the platform to say goodbye to his girlfriend.

Scott and Eddie, who stayed where they were, looked at each other and sighed.

They understood that Roger was right.

Although they were worried about Milton, they couldn't do anything, and they didn't even know what was going on.

Not long after, Roger returned to the team after saying goodbye, and the three of them walked out of the platform together.

Roger's father, Mr Davis, and Eddie's father, Mr Carmichael, were waiting for them outside the station.

When they walked out of the station, they saw the two fathers smoking together by the car.

They have gotten to know each other well in the process of picking up their son in the past.

Due to his background, Mr Davies was a wizard who could easily integrate into Muggle society.

He drives a normal flightless car, wears a suit and leather shoes, and it doesn't look like he's a wizard at all.

"Hey, how are you guys!"

Mr. Davis spotted them, strode over Roger, who had greeted him, and hugged Scott warmly.

"Oh, Scott, Roger wrote to tell us that you saved his life." He patted Scott's shoulder vigorously. "Thank you, good boy!"

"You're welcome, Mr. Davis, Roger is my friend, and Roger is exaggerating."

Scott couldn't bear his enthusiasm.

"Hello, Mr. Camitchell."

He took the initiative to greet another gentleman.

"Hello, Scott."

Mr. Camitchell also smiled friendly.

Compared with Eddie's shrewdness and exposure, he looks more friendly and gentle.

But Scott wouldn't believe that a successful businessman would lack shrewdness.

In short, after a meal of greetings from you and me, they finally decided to leave.

At the warm invitation of the father of the two roommates, Scott finally chose to take Mr. Davis' car and let him take him to Charing Cross Station.

So they said goodbye to each other, and the two cars drove in different directions.

In the car, Mr. Davis and Roger talked in a relaxed tone about some of the things that had happened at the school.

"You're just like when I was young, Roger," said Mr. Davis. "Your heart can only be completely settled when you meet the girl you're meant to be, just as I met your mother."

"I'll keep looking, Dad," Roger said.

Scott couldn't help but ask, "So Caccini isn't?"

"Yes? Or not?" Roger shrugged. "Maybe my love for her will fade tomorrow, but maybe it will deepen, who knows?"

Mr. Davis laughed and said, "That's right! It took me three months to date your mother before I realized I couldn't live without her!"

He also reached out and gave Roger a high five.

"..."

Scott suddenly felt that he should not be in the car, should be under the car.

He didn't want to listen to the father and son discussing each other's romantic history in the car.

When the car arrived at Charing Cross Station, Scott couldn't wait to bid farewell to the Davis and his son, and got off the bus and walked into the station.

After entering the station, the black raven on his shoulder attracted many people's attention.

Scott kept Rimbaud in a motionless stance, making people think it was an artificial toy.

He didn't rush to the ticket hall to buy a ticket, but first found the restroom and walked in.

Inside the compartment, Scott pulled a wand out of a lizard skin pouch tied to the lining of his down jacket.

The wand and his own, although they looked black, were much older.

It was clearly a second-hand wand, and Scott's backup wand.

The existence of the spare wand is of course to facilitate him to do some small actions that he does not want to be discovered.

As for the origin of this wand...

There are always students at Hogwarts from a down-and-out wizarding family who don't mind stealing a relic from a deceased elder in the family in exchange for Galleon.

This wand made of ebony and dragon heartstrings is not much different from Scott's wand (the nerve of ebony plus dragon).

He had bought it from a Slytherin student last school year with Eddie as a middleman.

Of course, there were several hands-on changes during the transaction, and the seller didn't know who the wand was sold to.

Scott hid his wand in his sleeve and walked around the station at random after leaving the bathroom.

There is a lot of people in the station.

Scott easily sensed the existence of other wizards with his magical perception.

He deliberately passed a wizard leaning against a post signboard, holding his wand behind the post.

"Super perceptive."

He murmured softly, covered with a wide down jacket, and the wand in his hand drew an arc and touched himself.

With the blessing of the super-sensation spell, his magical perception that he had already spread became more acute.

Then, he tucked his wand back into his sleeve and left.

Scott couldn't help but resent the rule that "minors are not allowed to use magic outside of school".

Of course, what he did just now was to escape the monitoring of the Ministry of Magic's traces by the existence of adult wizards——

When there is more than one wizard nearby, that kind of spell can't accurately determine who is using the magic.

So in Scott's view, this regulation basically only targets young wizards from Muggle origins.

Scott continued to walk in the station,

But after using the super-sensation spell, he still did not perceive any abnormality.

In the station, the only two wizards he could perceive mixed in with Muggles were still the two he first perceived.

He turned around again seemingly at random, and basically decided that they were not coming for him.

But he didn't jump to conclusions.

Then, he walked to the ticket hall and started lining up to buy tickets——

The seemingly normal line up to buy tickets actually did not relax the perception at all.

It didn't take long for him to stand at the ticket window.

"Hello, where do you need a ticket?" the conductor asked.

"Hello, I need a quickest way to..."

Scott stopped suddenly.

When he was about to say his destination, he finally sensed a slight fluctuation of magic power suddenly appearing not far from him.

It's a house elf.

"Hello?" the conductor urged.

Scott pretended to be looking for something in his pocket.

"Hello, a ticket to Maidstone as soon as possible, thank you." He passed the documents and banknotes in his hand through the window.

It looks like he can't go straight back to Hastings.

Scott calmly took the ticket and ID, turned around and walked towards the platform.

And in his magic perception, the magic wave always followed behind him not far or near.
