Wind and Eagle Wings at Hogwarts

Chapter 80 080.1 The test of choice

Chapter 80
Scott and Eddie took several turns in the dark dungeon beneath the castle before arriving at the classical music club deep in the dungeon.

"...It is said that this place was chosen so as not to let the music disturb other people." Eddie said in a disapproving tone, "If I tell you, you can use a spell to block the sound, right?"

Scott didn't respond to Eddie's complaints, he went straight to a black door with a bronze medallion, reached out and pushed it open.

When the door was pushed open, the sound of music rushed in.

There were not many people in the club at this time.

Musicians in uniforms from different academies are playing a strange-sounding tune with different instruments.

Scott saw Milton playing the cello at a glance.

Milton did look a little bad.

His face was very pale, his originally smooth hair looked very rough, and there were thick dark circles around his eyes.

Scott frowned.

Weird music continued to play.

All the musicians, including Milton, looked so engrossed they didn't even notice Scott and Eddie were coming.

Scott and Eddie went inside and closed the door.

The classical music club occupies a space that looks like a small auditorium, with layers of dark velvet curtains hanging from the walls on all four sides.

Scott and Eddie walked to the wall and stood against it.

"What's up with the music?" Eddie asked in a low voice.

Scott shook his head.

"Are you going to interrupt their performance?" Eddie rubbed his ears.

Scott asked him, "Did Milton go to the dorm last night? Did you ask him what happened?"

Eddie spread his hands, "He went back after curfew and left before we got up in the morning."

Scott frowned again.

He was considering whether to interrupt the performance of these people when the music suddenly stopped.

"Let's rest for a while, everyone," said a tall, mature-looking wizard to the others.

He is Gideon Kram, seventh grade Hufflepuff, bagpiper, and current head of the Classical Music Club.

He is also a member of the Wacky Sisters singing group.

Scott and Eddie walked straight towards Milton.

The musicians who were discussing something with each other suddenly looked at them in surprise, as if it was only at this moment that the two of them were coming.

"Milton."

Scott walked up to Milton.

"Scott?" Milton raised his head, "I heard you went to the school hospital yesterday, are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Scott said, "but you're looking worse and worse."

"Feel sorry."

Milton looked down at his cello.

Scott raised his eyebrows and asked him, "The piece you played just now was adapted from that organ piece?"

"Yes."

Milton still bowed his head, feeling lost.

"Sorry," Scott said bluntly, "I don't hear any beauty in your playing, so I don't understand why you're addicted to it."

"It's our problem! It's not the tune's problem!" said a Slytherin boy sitting next to Milton suddenly.

"That's right, that song is the most beautiful music I've ever heard!"

Gideon Krum came over.

"Maybe we're not good enough." He also looked haggard, "We couldn't express the beauty of that piece."

"is it?"

Scott was noncommittal.

He asked Crumb directly, "Hello, Crumb. Does Professor Flitwick know what's going on at the Classical Music Club lately?"

"I know what you're trying to say!" Crum said angrily, "but Professor Flitwick knows, of course he does!"

"Sorry, I understand."

Although Scott was very surprised, he didn't show it in front of him.

He glanced at Milton again.

"Sorry, Milton, we are all worried about you." He said softly, "I think, no matter what you do, you must ensure that it does not affect your health."

"Oh! Thank you, Scott, Eddie."

Milton raised his head again and smiled gratefully at the two of them.

"I'll pay attention."

"That's fine. Then we'll leave it alone, bye."

Just like that, Scott and Eddie turned around and walked out of the black door.

"Scott?" Eddie looked at him in confusion.

"Come on, let's find Professor Flitwick," Scott said.

So, the two kept climbing up to the eighth floor of the castle and knocked on the door of Professor Flitwick's office.

The door opened on its own.

"Come in." Professor Flitwick's voice came from within.

"Excuse me, Professor."

Scott pushed open the door and walked in first.

Professor Flitwick was sitting behind his desk, writing something with a quill in his hand.

"Please sit." He looked up and smiled at the two of them. "I've been thinking about when you'll come to me, Scott, Eddie."

Scott and Eddie also smiled and sat on the sofa beside them.

"Roger has come to see me," added Professor Flitwick.

Scott said, "Sorry, Professor, that..."

"Oh! I'll explain it to you," said Professor Flitwick.

He put down the quill in his hand and jumped off his chair.

"What a pity, Scott." He waved his wand.

The teapot and cups automatically flew out of the closet, and three cups of steaming black tea were poured on the coffee table in front of the sofa.

"Oh, let's have a cup of tea, you're welcome...I'm talking about the Slytherin Chamber of Secrets last time," he said. "If I were the headmaster, I'd give you a special contribution award too."

Professor Flitwick sat on the sofa on the other side of the coffee table and took a sip from the teacup.

"I don't really want that honor, Professor."

Scott also picked up the teacup.

"That's the best, just a bonus to help blur the focus."

He continued in Professor Flitwick's surprised eyes: "You know, I don't really want to be associated with that vicious joke-like message, which I think might be met with fierce revenge."

He smiled, "Although that message that can easily provoke the mysterious person did come from my hands."

"Maybe you're right, Scott." Professor Flitwick smiled too. "It's also a kind of wisdom to know how to choose."

He took the initiative to say, "I know why you came to me."

Scott nodded. "It's about the classical music club, Professor."

"I know that you are worried about your friends." Professor Flitwick's expression was a little helpless, "I am also worried about those students, but I can't do anything."

Scott was completely surprised this time.

He looked at Professor Flitwick in surprise, as if he didn't understand what he was saying.

"Oh, sorry!"

Professor Flitwick waved his arm a little excitedly.

"It's about an old oath, and Hogwarts Castle is witnessing that oath, and even Dumbledore can't stop it!"

He forced a smile again.

"You don't need to worry too much. That oath will not hurt the students. I can guarantee that those students will not be in any danger!"

Scott breathed a sigh of relief.

At the same time, he also heard the sound of Eddie sighing next to him.

"Although that oath does not pose any real danger," Professor Flitwick added, "but... it is also a test of choice."
