Wind and Eagle Wings at Hogwarts

Chapter 53 053. Eddie Reaction and Decision

The Scott and Weasley twins held hands and smiled at each other.

Both Fred and George were a little excited, and they apparently took it as an unprecedented event.

"It's obviously very challenging to find the 'Slytherin heir' hidden at Hogwarts."

George was the first to release his hand, and then put his chin on his hand, posing as if he was thinking seriously.

"That so-called 'heir' must be deeply hidden."

Fred also withdrew his hand and pretended to push the glasses that didn't exist on his face.

He said: "We have to find a clever way to let the hidden 'heir' reveal itself!"

"Having the initiative, that's what I thought too," Scott said with a smile. "We can't wait for the so-called 'heir' to commit the crime again, and then chase his ass for clues."

"Looks like you already have some ideas?" Fred immediately understood and laughed.

"I have some ideas."

Scott nodded, then pulled out his pocket watch to check the time.

"But we need to go back to the college common room first. For tonight... the professors may go to rounds." He said to the twins, "We'd better come out later, about 1 a.m. , still in this classroom."

"It's past 9 p.m. now."

George looked down at the pocket watch in Scott's hand, and reached out to pat Fred on the shoulder.

"We must go back to Gryffindor Tower first so Percy can see us before bed."

Fred immediately looked uncomfortable. "Or would he write to Mommy? Oh! He does!"

"See you at 1:[-] in the morning, Scott." George said to Scott mysteriously again, "You don't know yet, we have a huge advantage over this matter that no one else has, a secret weapon!"

Fred looked at George with a serious look, "Brother, have you decided to show Scott that secret weapon?"

"It's necessary, isn't it?" George looked at him.

"Indeed!" Fred laughed, "and I've been looking forward to the day I'll shock people with it."

"As I thought." George blinked.

The two smiled mysteriously at Scott together, "Please look forward to it!"

Scott went back to the bedroom, only to find that none of his roommates were there. So he went to the bathroom to wash off the smell of food he had tainted at the dinner party.

When he approached the bedroom again with wet hair, Eddie had returned.

He was sitting on the bed sorting out his "goods" and turned to look at Scott when he heard the movement.

"Scott, why didn't you put on your pajamas after taking a shower?" He asked casually at first, and then quickly responded, "Are you going to go out later?"

"Yes."

Scott went to his bed and put down the basket of dirty clothes in his hand.

"Could it be that you started dating too?" Eddie asked with great interest, "Is it a girl from our college?"

"Not a date."

Scott turned and sat on the sofa by the window, casting a drying spell on his hair.

He said to Eddie, "The Weasley twins and I are going to find out what we call the 'Slytherin heir'. Also, I need your participation in my plans, Eddie."

Eddie's hands stopped for a while, then turned his head to look at him in surprise, "Isn't that what Potter did?"

"Of course not," Scott said. "I've sensed magic, and I'm sure some very powerful black magic petrified the cat. Potter couldn't."

Eddie said stubbornly: "I thought the cat was dead, but who knows that kind of thing? You know that Potter defeated You-Know-Who when he was born."

"He's special, isn't he?" he said more and more vigorously. "Maybe Potter is destined to be the new Dark Lord? And he's awakened now..."

Scott looked at him speechlessly until he turned his mouth.

"Okay okay, you're right." Eddie raised his hand in surrender, "Potter looks like a fool."

He put down the poor glass bottle in his hand. "Of course I believe you, Scott. But..."

His face was a little worried.

"Since you know it's powerful and evil black magic, why are you investigating this matter? It's not like you at all."

Scott reminded calmly, "You know the 'Slytherin Chamber' rumor, Eddie."

"Of course I know!"

Eddie suddenly realized something and widened his eyes.

Scott looked at his expression and couldn't help raising the corners of his lips.Eddie, who has been keen to dig all kinds of gossip all the year round, is very sensitive to information.

"You mean..." Eddie's tone was a little uncertain, "Whether the content of the message on the wall on the third floor is true or false, the person who did this might target it according to the rumors of the secret room. A Muggle-born wizard?"

"That is what I thought."

Scott answered in the affirmative.

"Because of our background, this matter may be a crisis for us, and we must take the initiative." He said seriously.

Eddie said hesitantly, "It's dangerous to investigate this if it's what you say, Scott."

He even started to persuade Scott, "We all know that Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor Flitwick are already dealing with this, and we should trust them."

"Don't worry, Eddie."

Scott brushed through his dry hair and lowered his wand.

"There will be no danger." He said with a smile, "My plan is not to fight the hidden 'heir' head-on, but to find a way to expose him."

He stood up, took out a clean black cloak from the closet, and continued to Eddie: "Besides, what you have to do is even simpler."

He turned to look at Eddie, "You just need to cooperate with me and Weasley's actions at night, and spread a rumor among the students as quickly as possible after dawn tomorrow."

"Are you sure you and the two Weasleys will not be in danger?" Eddie looked at him suspiciously.

"I'm sure."

Scott put on his cloak, picked up another pair of gloves and put them on, while smiling and said, "We just leave a line under the 'heir' message."

"what?"

Eddie asked curiously.

"of course……"

Scott put on his gloves, walked over and said something softly.

Eddie rounded his eyes directly and asked in an uncertain tone, "Is that so? ... Is it okay?"

Scott smiled, "Oh, don't worry, the twins and I won't let anyone else catch us."

Eddie shook his head. "No, I mean those Slytherins might be..."

"Trust me, Eddie. They can't do it," Scott said confidently.

"And Professor Snape?" Eddie asked again.

However, judging from his expression, he was already eager to try.

"So I let you spread the rumors among the students as quickly as possible," Scott emphasized, "and let the professors hear the news slower."

Eddie finally put aside his worries and smiled confidently.

"I know, I can do it," he said.
