Wind and Eagle Wings at Hogwarts

Chapter 32 032. Conversation with Dumbledore

Chapter 32 032. Conversation with Dumbledore
A magic item?
Scott looked down at the pile of debris on the ground.

The magic power of many magic items is not closely related to the magic power of its user, which undoubtedly increases the difficulty of finding the perpetrator.

Just then, there was a commotion outside the Quidditch pitch.

Scott looked up and saw that Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall were walking from the lawn outside the stadium, followed by a large group of students watching the fun.

Because the movement just now is really not small.

Not to mention, there was an explosion over the field, and then Qiu Zhang violated the ban and flew into the castle on a broomstick. Before anyone who saw her could react, she rushed into Professor Flitwick's office and flew out with him. .

By now, presumably most people at Hogwarts already know that something big happened on the Quidditch pitch.

"Felius." Dumbledore called out Professor Flitwick's name from a distance, "What happened?"

"Oh, here you are!" Professor Flitwick turned around and beckoned, "Albus, Minerva, come and see."

Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall walked over quickly and followed Professor Flitwick's instructions to look at the pile of debris on the ground.

"This is?" Professor McGonagall's eyes widened in surprise, "Broomstick?"

Professor Flitwick nodded, "Yes, Davis' broom just exploded suddenly. Fortunately, Trollope discovered something wrong with the broom in advance."

Then, he gave Scott a big compliment by stating what happened.

"Amazing." Dumbledore winked at Scott. "May I call you Scott, Mr. Trollope."

Scott smiled politely at him. "Of course, Mr. Principal."

Dumbledore also smiled. "Oh boy, I wish you could call me Professor Dumbledore."

He was kind to Scott, "I have to say, I've heard about you, Scott. Maybe you don't know, many professors have complimented you in their usual conversations, especially Foley. Professor Wei and Professor McGonagall."

Instead of being modest and shy, Scott smiled confidently and said, "That's my honor."

Although this was the first time he had spoken to Dumbledore, he knew very well that it was unnecessary to disguise himself in front of this old man.

Intuition told him that the old man's smart blue eyes could easily see through the true temperament of most people. It wasn't the magic of Legionnaire, but experience, wisdom, and the perception of magic.

Especially the perception of magic power, Scott himself has a deep understanding of this.

"You are indeed a very good student, and the actions you take in the face of accidents are also commendable." Dumbledore sighed, "But unfortunately, since Professor Flitwick has added fifty points to you, I can't I'll add more points to you."

He gave Scott another playful wink before squatting down to examine the pile of broomsticks carefully.

"Have you found anything, Filius?" he asked Professor Flitwick.

"It's a magic item!" Professor Flitwick repeated his conclusion.

"You are right."

Dumbledore picked up a piece of sawdust and crushed it on his finger, then put the finger in his mouth under the surprised eyes of the students.

"Well...it smells like a curse." He smacked his lips, commenting like he had tasted a candy.

Scott watched this scene aside and was also surprised.

Dumbledore is always going to do something unexpected, no wonder people always think he's an old lunatic.

But Scott also understands that the greatest wizard of our time doesn't go out of his way to do something grand.

Some of his actions do seem insanely incomprehensible, and that's just because the average wizard can't imagine his magical abilities.

But Scott was not worried that his secrets would be exposed when he communicated face-to-face with Dumbledore.

Because magic is a spiritual power.

He thought that what he had done to the three pure-blooded little witches had been mischievous at best.As long as there is no flaw in his mind, Dumbledore can't see any clues.

He even thinks that black magic is like this. A wizard with a strong mind will not be easily affected by black magic.

He didn't believe that Dumbledore couldn't use black magic. It's just that it may not have been thoroughly researched.

Dumbledore and Voldemort, the two wizards, may be stronger or weaker in terms of magic, but Scott feels that Dumbledore's mind must be much stronger than Voldemort.

"This kind of thing happened!"

Eddie then squeezed in from outside the crowd.

"Roger, it looks like you're going to buy a new broom!" he joked to Roger deliberately.

"Maybe it's a good thing?" Roger laughed too. "It saves me having to make excuses to ask my dad for Kim Galleon to buy a broom."

"What kind of broom are you going to change?" Eddie leaned over to Roger. "How about Nimbus 2001?"

"I don't think my dad would be so generous."

Roger and Eddie joked a few times and seemed to be in a better mood.

Just then, Dumbledore stood up.

"Mr. Davis," he asked Roger. "I wonder, where was your broomstick before this?"

"In the bedroom, Professor," Roger replied.

Professor Flitwick said, "I need to see your dorm, Davis."

"Go ahead, I've learned some things," Dumbledore said kindly, "but I'm sure your Professor Flitwick will take care of this."

He stretched his waist and said comfortably, "As for me, sorry, it's my regular afternoon tea time every day."

Professor McGonagall looked at him disapprovingly, "Albus!"

"Oh, don't worry, Minerva." Dumbledore smiled lightly. "We'll just have to wait for the results."

"Well, I hope you're right Albus." Professor McGonagall agreed.

"Let's go, we may find some clues in your dormitory." Professor Flitwick walked out of the field with his students.

At this time, most of the students who did not have classes in the school have probably gathered here. The excitement of the stadium is about to catch up with the official Quidditch match.

What happened before has been spread among the students, and they are all discussing the broom explosion.

Scott and the others followed behind Professor Flitwick and walked through the crowd, as if being greeted by the sidewalk.

"Hey! Roger!"

Fred and George squeezed into the front row of the crowd.

Fred waved his hand with a smile, "It's lucky that the broom didn't blow your ass!"

"Hey!" Roger glared at them viciously, "Don't tell me, it's your prank!"

"Of course not us!" George stared at him with an innocent expression.

"If it were us..." Fred touched his chin, his eyes lit up.

"We won't let the broom smoke," George continued. "When the broom explodes, it'll just blow your pants off!"

"That's it!" Fred gave a thumbs up. "That's a great idea. Thank you, Roger!"

"Two gloating bastards!"

Roger didn't want to pay attention to them anymore, and walked forward angrily.
