Chapter 145
Taming wolves into sheep?

Scott thought Medea's words were quite interesting.

Maybe the wizards thousands of years ago followed the law of the jungle and the law of the jungle, but now they have to put on a layer of civilization.

Wizards are human too.

Although wizards seem to be separated from Muggle society because they hide themselves due to the secrecy law, they cannot escape the influence of the overall environment of human society after all.

From the establishment of the Ministry of Magic, the functions and powers of various departments, the formulation of modern laws, to newspapers and magazines, radio stations, vehicles, etc...

There are traces of the influence of modern civilization everywhere in the wizarding world.

But on the other hand, Medea's words are also reasonable.

As a person with past life memories, Scott knows how amazing Muggle technology will be if it continues to develop like this.

When the pervasive information age comes, can wizards really continue to hide like this?
Judging from the current situation, it is impossible for wizards to completely deter Muggles with their power.

Facing Medea's words, Dumbledore seemed to think for a moment.

"You may be right, Ms. Slytherin."

He spoke slowly.

"But this is the choice of the times, and it is also the choice of most wizards. Everyone likes a stable and peaceful life."

"Really?" Medea didn't quite believe it, "In my opinion, there will be no shortage of ambitious people in any era."

Dumbledore shook his head and sighed, "Ambitious people set off riots in order to realize their ambitions, but the victims and sacrifices are most ordinary people. Just like Tom, I don't know if you have heard of his deeds."

And your old lover.

Scott answered silently in his heart.

"Is that descendant of mine? I've heard some of his deeds recently."

Medea said with some disdain.

"I have to say that he is too stupid and a narrow-minded guy."

"Oh?" Dumbledore's eyes flashed, and he seemed to have some interest, "Then what do you think of him?"

"Power is power, there is no need to distinguish the source of power. A wizard is a wizard, and there is no need to look at blood differently."

Medea said naturally.

"Only focusing on pure-blood wizards and gaining support by provoking internal conflicts among wizards is opportunistic and shortcuts."

She shook her head again, with disdain in her eyes.

"I only value the talents of wizards."

She suddenly pointed to Scott.

"Just like this child, he is a wizard. Even if he was born as a Muggle, he can't go back to the Muggle society. The more talented the wizard, the more so."

Scott said: "As far as I know, your father opposed the admission of young Muggle-born wizards?"

"As you said, the times are different." Medea learned and used it flexibly, "Under the original environment, my father's choice was correct. But now... From this aspect, it is indeed a better era."

"So what is your pursuit?" Dumbledore asked her. "And like Tom, intending to dominate the wizarding world?"

Medea smiled, "Magic is power, and it is only natural for the weak to be dominated by the strong."

"Even the weak are not casual sacrifices, they are our compatriots," said Dumbledore.

Medea said coldly: "If you want to blame them, blame them for being too weak. Even beasts will abandon their companions who are not strong enough."

Dumbledore shook his head, obviously not agreeing with Medea's point of view.

He told her solemnly, "We are human beings, Ms. Slytherin, and the greatest power we have is love."

He looked at Medea, "Just like you, because of your deep love for your father Salazar Slytherin, you created miracles and traveled through the millennium."

"That's not just love!"

Medea's face was completely cold.

"That's my unwillingness and resentment towards him! I respect him and love him, but I hate him even more!"

"There seems to be no point in arguing."

Dumbledore raised the wand in his hand, and magic power surged around him.

"I won't let you leave here, Ms. Slytherin."

Medea also raised her wand and said with a smile, "Are you finally going to do it? We have said enough today."

"I must remind you, Ms. Slytherin, that you may know many Hogwarts secrets."

Dumbledore waved the wand in his hand, as if drawing something out of thin air.

"But some secrets can only be understood by becoming a principal."

"Oh? I'm curious."

Medea didn't do anything, but watched Dumbledore's movements with great interest.

When Dumbledore stopped, the lines he drew suddenly lit up, forming a shimmering Hogwarts crest.

"School badge?" Medea was a little surprised. "It seems that the principal does have some privileges in this castle. What's the use of this?"

"You'll know right away."

Dumbledore said a clumsy incantation and waved his wand.

The shining school emblem suddenly spread out in the air, and appeared at Medea's feet in the blink of an eye.

Just as Medea was about to move, four translucent figures suddenly appeared, standing in four directions on the school badge pattern.

It turned out to be the four ghosts of the four houses of Hogwarts!

Scott's eyes widened.

"Ms. Gray?"

He was amazed to see the appearance of the ghosts.

Wasn't Ms. Gray with Professor Flitwick?

When Ms. Gray heard the words, she just looked back at him and didn't speak.

"ghost?"

Medea looked more surprised than Scott at the moment.

In people's common sense, ghosts cannot interfere with reality, so they are powerless.

But she didn't think that Dumbledore was a fool. Since he used this new magic, it must have worked.

She moved to the outside of the school badge pattern at the fastest speed.

However, the four ghosts began to emit a faint white light.

These rays of light quickly integrated with the school badge under their feet, and Medea's movements suddenly stopped stiffly.

"Can't you move, Medea?" Lady Gray said, "You can't leave here anymore."

Medea seemed to only be able to move her head, and she turned to Ms. Gray, "Why are you here, Helena!"

Ms. Gray said indifferently: "I am a ghost belonging to Hogwarts. When the headmaster uses this magic to summon me, of course I will appear."

Medea looked at the bloody Baro again, "Are you going to help others attack me, Baro?"

"This is the principal's order, Medea." Bloody Baro said.

"Hahahahahaha..."

There was a burst of crazy laughter, and Peeves jumped out of nowhere.

He flew over Medea's head and laughed with his arms akimbo.

"Great! Hahahahaha... The devil is suppressed! The devil is suppressed!"

He looked so happy, laughing and doing somersaults in the air.

"To shut up."

Medea scolded coldly.

Peeves' laughter stopped abruptly, and he ran far away in fear, until he saw Medea still not moving, and couldn't help but make a fuss again.

"You can't scare me!" He yelled wildly, "You can't move anymore! I won't be afraid of you!"

"Really?" Medea smiled.

The school badge pattern under her feet and the four ghosts flickered at the same time like a malfunctioning light bulb.

There is one more, the next chapter finally ends this plot.
