Wukong looked at the monk with a smile, and then shook the knife in front of him.

Immediately after hearing a click, Wukong threw the knife directly to the ground.

Afterwards, Wukong closed his eyes and silently felt the changes in his body, but after a while, he didn't feel anything.

"Are you afraid you didn't lie to my grandson?"

The monk looked at Wukong's operation in a bewildered expression, and was speechless by his ensuing doubts.

There are still fools who believe it these days?
If he could become a Buddha by laying down a knife, would he still be honing in this world?

western bliss,

Great Leiyin Temple,

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva sitting cross-legged on the lotus pedestal suddenly became complicated.

She looked at the Tathagata Buddha on the main seat, and said:
"Buddha, that second disciple of yours seems to have changed. He was rescued by the stone monkey transformed from the fairy stone. In this life, he did not die at the hands of robbers as planned."

Hearing this, Tathagata counted his fingers, and there was a moment of astonishment in the majestic benevolent eyebrows and kind eyes, but soon returned to indifference.

"It's okay, just find an opportunity to let him enter the next round as soon as possible."

Journey to the West is still hundreds of thousands of times away, and it is obviously not yet the heyday of the human race during the Zhenguan Reign, so we can't let a little change jeopardize the overall situation.

This is a major event related to the great prosperity of Buddhism!

Hearing the conversation between the two, the expressions of the other Buddhas changed slightly, and they secretly counted their fingers. After seeing what happened to Wukong and the monk in the mortal world, they sighed for a while.

Just listen to Guanyin Bodhisattva and said again:

"Buddha, the monkey transformed from the five-color fairy stone was actually taken by Jin Chanzi to the temple where he lived in this life. It seems that the monkey really converted to my Buddha in advance!"

The Buddha naturally figured out the cause and effect, and smiled slightly.

The stone monkey possesses the destiny of heaven and earth, and is also transformed by the five-color fairy stone. If it can join Buddhism, it will naturally make Buddhists even more powerful.

"It would be great if it could be like this, but it's a pity that the stone monkey has a beating heart and still needs some tempering, so I'm afraid he won't be able to fulfill his wish."

mortal,

Ever since he put down the butcher knife and couldn't immediately become a Buddha, Wukong directly labeled the monk as a liar.

But the monk happily followed Wukong and thought about it.

"The poor monk is not a liar, monks don't tell lies!"

Wukong is obviously not so easy to fool,

"Then why did my grandson put down the butcher knife, but failed to become a Buddha?"

The monk rolled his eyes and said:
"Because you are a kind monkey!"

"Letting down the butcher's knife refers to those people who were originally extremely evil and harmed the three worlds, and suddenly became enlightened, and they are willing to let go of the butcher's knife in their hearts and turn around, and then they will become Buddhas immediately."

Wukong seemed to understand something, with a look of disgust,

"So what you mean is that those who become Buddhas are themselves monstrous superpowers, but they just changed their minds and put on a Buddhist vest?"

"Vest?"

The monk looked astonished, puzzled.

Goku waved his hand,

"It's just a change of status. How can I explain it? I read a novel about it before. Oh, forget it. I can't explain it. My old grandson is too lazy to explain it."

The monk was confused by what he heard, and finally began to persuade Wukong to go back to the mountain with him.

At first, Wukong didn't want to go, but now he couldn't find a way to find the way of longevity. He also heard that practicing Buddhism can achieve the appearance of a fairy, and he is omnipotent in heaven and earth. They all ascended to heaven from Buddhist enlightenment.

Ever since, Wukong could only go back with the monk.

Buddhism is obviously not that easy to join, and there will be an assessment period.

When registering the roster, the monks asked.

"Houzhi, do you have a name?"

"I have! My old grandson is called Sun! Wu! Kong!"

"Sun Wukong? Wukong?"

The monk's eyes lit up, he clapped his palms and smiled, "Your name is very closely related to my Buddha, Wukong Wukong, wonderful!"

"Then what's your name?"

Wukong couldn't help asking back.

The monk smiled brightly,
"The poor monk's surname is Liu, and his dharma name is Xuanzang! From now on, you can just call me Master Xuanzang."

"Mage?"

Wukong was speechless,
"I don't know who it is, but it was almost hacked to death by the bandits."

Xuanzang shook his head, not feeling blushed at all.

"The monks are merciful, how can they kill indiscriminately?
"Then you are waiting to be chopped?"

"Of course not, the poor monk will influence them with a sincere heart, let the evil disappear from people's hearts, and walk on the righteous path!"

Wukong curled his lips, no wonder he was so wordy, it turned out that he was often honed at the cost of his life, no wonder he could pull out some speechless nonsense.

However, Wukong came to seek the way of longevity, but he didn’t learn anything after staying for several months. He also had to eat fast and chant Buddha all day long, chop firewood and carry water. Under the monkey’s outburst, Wukong often ran to the deep mountains and old forests alone. Go eat meat by yourself.

After running out too much, the boring Xuanzang finally found out.

On this day, Xuanzang secretly followed and watched as Wukong built a temporary stove in the forest.

Moreover, a blanket was conjured out of thin air and spread on the ground.

Xuanzang has been peeping all the time, but after Wukong filled the blanket with carefully prepared delicacies, Xuanzang couldn't hide suddenly when he smelled the charming aroma.

He showed up to teach Wukong a lesson, but was dazzled by a delicacy that Wukong handed over.

"Is this meat?"

Xuanzang swallowed his saliva, he forgot what he wanted to say, and only had this fragrant and delicious dish in his eyes.

Immediately afterwards, Xuanzang put on a look of hating iron but not steel.

"You actually kill? Amitabha, Buddhist disciples are not allowed to kill, nor eat meat! This violation of yours is the two commandments!"

Wukong smiled,
"My grandson is not a disciple of your Buddhist sect, so why should my grandson eat meat or vegetarian?"

Hearing this, Xuanzang was at a loss for words for a moment.

Yes, indeed.

"My old grandson made this with flour, and some special techniques were used to make it look and taste like meat even though it is whole grains."

Xuanzang didn't believe it at first, but after seeing Wukong make another meat dish with flour, his eyes were wide open.

"So, this is a vegetarian dish?"

"Yes, this is of course a vegetarian dish!"

After all, Wukong felt a little distressed, the flour was left by Brother Li, and he was usually reluctant to eat it, but only occasionally when he missed Brother Li, he took it out and used it.

Not noticing the lonely look on Wukong's face, Xuanzang swallowed, without hesitation, he immediately sat cross-legged on the blanket and began to take a tentative bite.

After eating this, Xuanzang's eyes lit up immediately.

Wonderful!

It turns out that this is the feeling of meat, it is so delicious!
Just when Xuanzang wanted to eat a few more mouthfuls in a hurry, he was snatched by Wukong, like a lion protecting food.

"This is what my grandson wants to eat, you want to eat something else!"

Xuanzang was quite speechless, but when he saw the other meat on the blanket, his eyes lit up again. Regardless of Wukong, he picked up a plate and put another piece into his mouth.

Wonderful!

Xuanzang narrowed his eyes comfortably, picked up another piece and put it in his mouth to chew.

"This is really delicious."

And it was even more chewy than the plate that Wukong snatched just now, Xuanzang looked at Wukong very puzzled.

Wukong was holding the dish at this time, while eating, he was sad, mumbling something in his mouth, his voice was very small, and he vaguely heard the word Li Ge.

Xuanzang shook his head helplessly, this monkey may be stupid, he would not eat the more delicious one, and even regarded a plate with a lesser taste as a treasure.

He didn't care about other things, Xuanzang had never eaten such a delicious food, and with the blessing of Wukong's superb cooking skills, he almost swallowed his tongue immediately.

After a full meal, one person and one monkey lay down on the ground.

Looking at the blue sky, Xuanzang suddenly had the illusion that this life was enough.

"I didn't expect you, Wukong, to be so good at cooking that you can make vegetarian dishes taste like meat dishes."

Wukong froze for a moment, turned his head to look at Xuanzang who was lying beside him, with a suspicious look on his face,
"What vegetarian dish?"

"You made vegetarian dishes!"

Xuanzang was stunned, why did he lose his memory in an instant?

Wukong suddenly realized, hesitatingly said:
"I only made two plates of flour, and the only one I ate was vegetarian!"

Xuanzang blinked, his face gradually turned blue.

"What?"

After staying with Wukong for a long time, Xuanzang can speak some fashionable dialects.

He swallowed, stood up awkwardly, looked at Wukong in shock, and said with trembling teeth:
"You, you, you, don't tell me, what I ate just now are actually real meat dishes, right?"

"Yes!"

Wukong grinned, a little guilty.

Hearing this, Xuanzang closed his eyes in despair.

"Amitabha!"
