Chapter 415 Hagrid: Yes, that's right!Yes, that's right!
"What are you? How long are you going to stay here? It's terribly cold here." Leni tightened the scarf around her neck, breathing out a breath of cold air.
Hera squeezed out a smile, and he was clearly about to catch the flash of light, but was abruptly interrupted by Leni. But this is really not a place for thinking.
"I think I've got what I want." Hera said, "I look forward to seeing you next time." He quickened his pace and walked out of Nurmengard Castle quickly, without even introducing Lainey to the people next to him, he directly Apparated and left the castle.
Hera had to admit that he didn't expect this line of news to get so much news, but there was no doubt that it was definitely valuable. But before he could take a breather in the office, Penello told Hera the bad news-the protection of magical animals class might be cancelled.
Because of Hagrid's 'rough' teaching and his careless personality, almost no students chose to continue their advanced studies in the sixth grade, even including Harry, Hermione and Ron, the three students who had the best relationship with Hagrid.
A meeting of school trustees was held to decide whether the subject needed to be abolished, but they finally came to the conclusion that the problem was not with the curriculum, but with the teachers.Nothing as bad as this had ever happened before Hagrid took over.
Penello held them back on the grounds that Hera was not in the castle for the time being, but it was obvious that this would not last long, and this year's sixth grade students obviously could no longer take the protection of magical animals class, and their schedules had already been arranged.
"I'll talk to Hagrid, at least I won't let him take such an adventurous course again." Hera rubbed her temples, looking extremely helpless, "But we have to wait until next year to see if any students are willing to choose this course."
"I told them that," Penello said, "but apparently they didn't believe me that much," she added at the end, "we're not Albus Dumbledore after all."
"No one can replace Dumbledore." Hera nodded. "By the way, is Hagrid still on the field? He shouldn't have gone out recently, right?"
"He's in his hut, and no one is taking his class, which hurts him." Penello sighed, and handed the coffee on the table to Hera.
"Did you get what you wanted to know?" Penello asked, and she gently brushed off the snowflakes on Hera's cloak. "Did you go somewhere very cold? It's already snowing now?"
"It's a very far away place, but fortunately I've already figured out everything I want to know." Hera wanted to take out the wand and put it on the table, but remembering Grindelwald's words, she retracted her half-drawn hand, holding the wand, and the elderberry blossoms on it clapped her hands.
Penello helped Hera take off her cloak, and said softly, "That's good, that's good. Would you like something to eat?"
"I've eaten before. What day is today? Why are there so many students on the field?" Hera looked into the distance through the window and looked at the bustling crowd. For a moment, he couldn't remember what special day it was. Could it be that the Quidditch Academy Cup has already started? He clearly remembered that the first match should be in October, and it shouldn't be that time yet!
Penello glanced outside, smiled and said, "It's the selection of the academy team. The Gryffindor team is going to reorganize the team. They didn't play a game well last year, and many students graduated this year. They have to re-select the players, but I don't think they are going well."
"Well, the days of peace will not be too long." Hera sighed with emotion, got up and picked up a new cloak from the coat rack and draped it on her body.
"What do you mean? Does the person who can't mention his name have any plans?" Penello asked nervously.
Hera straightened her cloak and said, "It's impossible for him to do nothing. Everything is hidden under calm. We must be prepared."
"But isn't Hogwarts protected by barriers?"
"Yes, but there is no impenetrable city wall." Hera sighed, "I'll go to Hagrid's first, and I'll go directly to the auditorium for dinner."
"Okay." Penello nodded, went back to the desk and picked up the parchment on the table and looked through it.
Hera walked across the grass and walked towards Hagrid's cabin. The team members on the ground seemed to be planning to pack up and go to the castle. They all fell from the sky. Hera also saw Harry and Hermione, and they waved at Hera.
Hera nodded and continued walking towards Hagrid's cabin.
Hagrid still had a Thestral tethered to his vegetable patch, and Hera slapped him on the face. He shouldn't have believed that Hagrid would change. Hagrid certainly hasn't discovered his problems until now, and he just thought it was because everyone disliked his poor teaching skills—he was completely in the wrong direction.
"Hagrid, you're in the room, aren't you?" Hera yelled. Hagrid's door was locked, and he probably locked himself in the room again, just like that bad woman Rita exposed his blood in the newspapers.
"Hey Hera, why are you here?" said a loud voice.
Hagrid turned from the back of the hut, wearing a large printed apron and carrying a sack of potatoes.Fang Fang, his great hunting dog, was at his feet.Yaya let out a low growl, and wanted to pounce on Hera.
"Get out of the way, Yaya, don't try to bite him."
Fangya jumps up and down at Heiyou, wanting to lick his face—maybe he wants to give Hera a bite on the neck.Hagrid grabbed it quickly, took it into his arms, and threw it aside.
"Let's go in and talk." Hera carefully avoided her teeth, and walked quickly into the cabin. Before Fang burst into the room, Hagrid closed the door tightly.
"What would you like? Tea? Whiskey?" Hagrid took two glasses from the cupboard and put them on the table.
Hera looked at Hagrid's log cabin, and it became even more messy inside. Whiskey bottles were piled up in the corners. It could be seen that Hagrid's recent life was not satisfactory.
"Tea is good. I don't have the habit of drinking during the day. And I see that there is boiling water on the stove." Hera carefully avoided the wine bottle, pulled a chair and sat down.
Hagrid was busy pouring boiling water into a large teapot, kicking the wine bottle sideways.
"That's what I use to sober up."
"Hagrid, you can't shut yourself up here forever." Hera looked at Hagrid and said, "You've got to find out what's wrong. I think everyone would love to take your class."
"Not everyone," said Hagrid hoarsely. He stopped pouring boiling water and took a swig from a bottle of whiskey on the table. "No one likes me. None of them chose to continue studying Protection of Magical Creatures after sixth grade."
"To be honest, it's not that they don't like you." Hera said, his tone became severe. "When your identity was announced before, how many people wrote to support you? Everyone who knows you knows what a good person you are."
"But none of them chose my course, not one!" Hagrid said hoarsely, and he sighed heavily, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Maybe I should go to a more meaningful place, like Hampshire. I've read about it in the papers. There's a lot of fighting there."
"You are the person I trust the most. You have more important tasks to do." Hera said seriously, staring at Hagrid closely.
Hagrid looked a little embarrassed, "Oh, I thought you forgot about me - I mean that would be great, so what am I going to do?"
"It hasn't been arranged yet, but it must be a very difficult task." Hera said.
Hagrid slammed the bottle on the table with a loud bang, "You can trust me, I've never been afraid of death. But should I really be in school all the time?"
"Of course I know, but now you have more important things to do, keep the site safe, so that no Death Eaters can sneak into the castle," Hera said seriously, "We can't guarantee that they won't have any way to sneak through the castle's barrier magic."
"It's absolutely fine to leave it to me, you can trust me." Hagrid assured, patting his chest.
Hera nodded, "Of course I trust you, that's why I entrust you with such an important job."
"No problem." Hagrid nodded, his face flushed from the drink.
"By the way, has there been any change in the Forbidden Forest recently?" Hera asked, "I must make sure that the creatures in the Forbidden Forest are not abnormal. Once they are instigated by the Dark Lord, we will be forced from the inside. This is one of the things I am most worried about."
Hagrid suddenly became sentimental, "Nothing unusual, just"
"Just what?" Hera asked quickly.
Hagrid choked up, "Just Jill is dying, he got blood drawn in 1991, it did a lot of damage to him, he's dying, he's been sick all summer"
"Who is Jill? Your little pet?" Hera asked suspiciously, as if he had never heard of this name.
"A unicorn," said Hagrid, wiping the corners of his eyes with his apron. "It's so weak that it can't even hunt alone. Look, I even prepared narwhal meat for it."
"Sorry, Hagrid." The corners of Hera's mouth twitched. Fortunately, Jill is not a dangerous creature, just a unicorn.Hagrid has always been able to build bridges of friendship with magical creatures.
"Thank you, what else can I do for you—" Hagrid hadn't finished speaking when there was a sudden knock on the door.Hagrid stood up in a panic and knocked down all the wine bottles on the table. Fortunately, Hera quickly caught the wine bottle with quick eyes and hands.Hagrid snorted hard through his nose.
"Hagrid, if you don't open the door, we'll blow it open!" Harry's voice sounded from outside.
This obviously irritated Hagrid, and he pushed open the door so hard that Hera felt the whole cabin shake.
"I'm a teacher!" Hagrid yelled at Harry. "Master, Potter! How dare you threaten me with blowing up my door!?"
"I'm sorry, sir," said Harry, and he purposely bit the last two words hard.
Hera stood up puzzled, why did the atmosphere between Hagrid and Harry feel a bit weird-when did they call each other 'Mr' and 'Potter'?
"He——principal, why are you here?" Hermione greeted Hera, who was surprised that Hera would appear here.
Hera shrugged, "It's not surprising." He poked Hagrid's lower back, "Okay, let them in. Don't all block the door."
"Okay, come on in, you ungrateful—" Hagrid muttered angrily, and Hera poked him in the lower back again before he reluctantly stepped back to let Harry and the others clear the door.
"What's the matter?" said Hagrid, as Harry and the others sat down at his big wooden table, and Fang tried to barge in, but Hagrid threw it out by the neck. "Get out, Fangya, don't even think about coming in."
"I'm glad to see you here." Hera got up and went to the cupboard and took out three more cups and put them on the table. "What would you like? Tea or whiskey? I will definitely not let you drink. You are not yet an adult, even if you are about to turn 18."
Hermione and Ron giggled, and Hagrid stomped around, making tea in the huge brass teapot, mumbling incessantly.Hera could easily hear him muttering something: "What's the matter? Feel sorry for me? Think I'm lonely or something?"
"I think they simply wanted to see you," Hera said.
Hermione echoed tremblingly, "Yes, we miss you."
"Miss me, huh?" Hagrid snorted contemptuously, "They little heartless bastards - yeah, yeah, yeah."
Hera's eyelids twitched as Hagrid turned back to fetch a plate of his homemade rock cakes. He didn't want to eat rock cakes that would knock out his teeth. These will be handed over to Harry and they will solve it!
It was impossible for them to get Hagrid's forgiveness so easily, the rock cake was the test!
Harry obviously realized it too, and immediately reached out to take a piece, but judging by his appearance, he looked more like he was hungry.
Hera sipped her tea, intending to quietly appreciate how Harry and the others explained to Hagrid why they hadn't taken Care of Magical Creatures.Anyway, it seemed that he didn't have to worry about Hagrid's emotional problems.Harry would definitely coax Hagrid into it.
"Hagrid," said Hermione timidly, Hagrid had returned to the table and started peeling the potatoes with such vigor that it seemed that every potato had a deep hatred for him, "Actually, we really want to continue with the Protection of Magical Creatures class."
Hagrid snorted hard, and Hera quietly admired how they tricked Hagrid, which must have been hilarious.
"Really!" said Hermione, "but our timetables are out of order."
"Yeah, that's right!" said Hagrid again. "Hera, do you know their timetable?"
Hera didn't expect him to be involved. He wanted to say directly that the curriculum is arranged according to the students' choice of courses. But Hermione and Harry couldn't help giving them winks, and Hera had to change her words: "It's like this, they have a lot of classes this semester."
