Chapter 394 Dumbledore and Voldemort

Chapter 394 Dumbledore and Voldemort
Hera almost didn't react at all, and several spells flew towards him, and the dark room was brightly lit with red light for a moment.

"Damned!" Hera shouted at the top of her voice, a red light hit another Death Eater's chest, he froze, threw his arms up, his wand fell to the ground with a click, and then fell powerlessly on the floor behind him with a plop.

Harry also came back to his senses, and quickly raised his wand and waved it at the nearest Death Eater.

But the Death Eater jumped aside to dodge his spell, and pointed his wand at the most conspicuous Hera—the Disillusionment spell on him had lost its effect, "Avada—"

Hera leaped across the floor and threw her whole body around his knees, knocking him over, his wand missing.Harry and Hermione were also eager to help, and they jumped out all at once. They frantically aimed their wands at the Death Eaters chasing after them, and shouted: "Use your weapon!" "Drown!"

This obviously worked, and they slowed down the Death Eaters effectively, giving Hera and them a chance to charge back towards the entrance to the Hall of Prophecy.

"Get out of the way, Harry!" Neville yelled.

"Huh? Longbottom, why are you here?" Hera looked up at Neville suspiciously, but he was not in a hurry to get an answer. The most important thing right now was to get out of here first, as the Death Eaters seemed to have surrounded the place.

Hera only hoped that Dumbledore could come over sooner.

"Damn it, what the hell am I going crazy about?" Hera cursed secretly, pulling Harry by the back of his neck and striding towards the door.

"Stupid!" Neville yelled, as a flash of red light passed over the Death Eater's shoulder and hit a closet with a glass front door on a wall covered with assorted hourglasses. The closet fell to the floor, shattered, and glass flew everywhere, and then the closet bounced back to the wall, intact, and then fell again, shattered—

They continued to run forward.

"Damn out!" Hera yelled, as if he had finally figured out what the white substance in the green liquid was, as the Death Eater fell into it.His head sank through the glass dome as if it were just a soap bubble, and then he became motionless, sprawled on the ground, his head sunk in the green liquid-filled glass dome.

"Well, children, we'd better get out of here as soon as possible." Hera took a deep breath, looked at the six little guys in front of her, and felt a headache. Why did Harry bring out so many people, isn't it enough for the three of them to cause trouble?

"Hera, why are you here?" This was Hermione's question.

"Don't you think that I, the principal, said it yourself?" Hera patted Harry on the shoulder angrily, "There is no time for nonsense, run! Run!"

More footsteps came from the Prophecy Hall, getting louder, and they realized that they should not waste any more time.

The door at the other end of the room opened into the dark hallway, toward which they ran quickly. But they were halfway there when Hera saw through the open door two other Death Eaters running toward them through the black room.So Hera could only turn around and rush towards a small dark and messy office on the left.

"This way, this way!" Hera yelled in a low voice, and when everyone had entered the room, he aimed his wand at the door, "Quick—" But before he could finish his spell, the door was knocked open, and two Death Eaters rushed in.

With the cheers of victory, both men shouted: "There are many obstacles!"

Hera rolled over to avoid the spell, but Harry and the others were not so lucky. Harry, Hermione and Neville were all knocked into the air.Neville was thrown behind a desk and disappeared; Hermione slammed into a bookshelf, and a thick torrent of books buried him instantly; Harry's head slammed into the momentum wall behind him, dazed and unable to do anything.

"Drowsy! All petrified!"

Hera squatted on the floor and yelled loudly, followed by another incantation, "Silence and silence!"

The room was quiet now, and they didn't have to worry about Death Eaters entering here for the time being.

"Ha, you'd better find a chance to sneak out." Hera figured it out, as long as he was with Harry and the others, he would definitely be hunted down by the Death Eaters. Although he didn't know what they wanted from Harry, it was undoubtedly dangerous to be with them.

"What are you going to do?" Harry shook his head, his mind spinning.

Hera grinned brightly, "What a professor should do." He took a deep breath, opened the door and rushed out.

"Hera—" Harry wailed, he knew that Hera had attracted fire for them, how could he deal with so many Death Eaters by himself?

After Hera rushed out of the room, she put a Disillusionment Charm on herself almost instantly, and then quickly took out a Death Eater mask from her small pocket and put it on her head.

Desperately?

how can that be possible!
Afterwards, Hera lifted the Disillusionment Curse and strode forward, pretending to search for Harry's whereabouts.

"Have you found them?" A sharp female voice sounded from the direction behind Hera.

Hera turned stiffly, and he could make out who was behind him, someone he so badly wanted to face—Bellatrix Lestrange, his supposed mother, though Rodolphus denied it.

"No, they opened it to the hall." Hera whispered, she didn't know if the room was too dark, or Bella's sanity was too unclear, she didn't realize that the person in front of her was not one of them.

"Go to the door and hold the exit, they can't escape!" Bella said cruelly, she licked the wand that looked like a crooked branch, showing a cold and sickly smile.

"Yes." Hera nodded, quickly turned and ran towards the door, before disappearing into the Department of Mysteries.

He had never intended to confront them, that was what Dumbledore was supposed to do.

"Dumbledore!" Hera saw a tall figure, Albus Dumbledore was standing at the door, his wand raised above his head, his pale face was full of anger.Hera smiled.

"Hera, how's the situation?" Dumbledore walked quickly to Hera's side.

"I'm afraid it couldn't get any worse."

Dumbledore nodded without saying anything. He quickly entered the room and walked down the steps. Hera followed behind him. As for the Death Eater's mask, he didn't know where he threw it.Dumbledore reached the bottom of the steps when the Death Eater closest to him spotted them and shouted to inform the other Death Eaters.A Death Eater ran away and climbed the opposite stone steps like a monkey, and Dumbledore's spell dragged him back easily, as if hooking him with an invisible thread—

"Dumbledore!" Bellatrix yelled, letting out a short scream.

The Death Eaters were fighting, bustling, and casting spells, and from time to time, a large number of wizards rushed in. They didn't wear masks. Some of them seemed to know their age, but they still kept firing spells.

Hera followed Dumbledore closely, and he knew that only around Dumbledore was he safe.

With little effort, Dumbledore trapped most of the Death Eaters in the middle of the house, seemingly tying them there with invisible ropes.Moody crossed the room, crawled up to Tonks, and tried to wake her up.The lights behind the table flickered, and there were grunts and shouts—Kingsley had already run forward to continue the fight against Bellatrix.

"Hermione, come here." Hera waved at Hermione.

There was a loud bang, followed by a scream from behind the table.Kingsley fell heavily to the ground, screaming in pain.Dumbledore shot wildly around with his wand, and Bellatrix was so frightened that she tucked her tail between her legs and ran away.Hera took the opportunity to cast a spell on her, but she dodged it. She had already run to the middle of the steps, still holding something in her hand.

Harry tried to rush up the steps, but he was a bit late, and the hem of Bellatrix's robes disappeared above it.

However, Dumbledore had the situation under control, and their gain today was quite large - so many Death Eaters were captured, although Bellatrix escaped.

Hera stood by Dumbledore's side and said softly, "Your plan succeeded, right?"

"Perhaps." Dumbledore's voice was devoid of emotion. "Wait—Where's Harry? Where's Harry?"

"He may have hidden somewhere." Hera said with relief. "After all, the situation here is so chaotic"

Dumbledore didn't make a sound, he walked quickly towards the corridor, Hera followed closely behind him, "What happened?"

"I'm afraid we all overlooked that Bellatrix got the prophecy ball, and Harry must have stopped him." Dumbledore said quickly.

"Prophecy Ball?"

"There's no time to explain. It's not something important anyway, but Voldemort wants it." In the time it took to speak, they had rushed to the golden hall of the Ministry of Magic by the elevator, the one with the fountain.

A tall, thin, hideous snake-like face with a black mask, pale and haggard, scarlet eyes with pupils like slits fixed on Voldemort appeared in the middle of the hall, pointing his wand at Harry, who stood there stiffly, motionless.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Dumbledore swung his wand so violently over his head that it hit the golden wizard statue in the fountain, and he jumped off the pedestal, landing with a thud on the floor between Harry and Voldemort, arms outstretched to protect Harry, the spell just brushing past his chest.

"What—?" cried Voldemort, looking around, and gasped, "Dumbledore!"

Dumbledore and Hera stood in front of the golden gate.Hera took a deep breath and rolled away from Dumbledore several times in a row, because he could see Voldemort raised his wand, and he didn't want to be accidentally injured by Voldemort's curse-no doubt, Voldemort would definitely use the Killing Curse.

"Bellatrix, your enemy is me!" Hera yelled, and rushed towards Bella who was hiding beside her.

A trace of doubt flashed in Bella's eyes, and she cast her gaze on Voldemort. Voldemort's scarlet eyes flashed, and he nodded slightly.

Bella understood immediately, and she screamed and yelled, "Come on, chop suey!"

Hera and Bella played a match-fixing match, and the two of them cast their magic wantonly, except for blowing up big holes in the surrounding floor, but they did nothing.

Hera's attention was always on Dumbledore and Voldemort. The duel between them was obviously much more intense.

Voldemort raised his wand, a green light approached Dumbledore, and Dumbledore turned around like a gust of wind.A second later, he reappeared behind Voldemort, waving his wand at the remaining statues in the fountain. They rushed towards Voldemort, who disappeared, and then reappeared by the pool.

"It would be foolish to come here this evening, Tom," said Dumbledore quietly, "the Aurors are on their way—"

"Whenever I am finished, you will be dead!" Voldemort spat.He fired another deadly spell at Dumbledore, but it missed and hit the security checkpoint, bursting into flames.

Dumbledore flicked the wand in his hand lightly, the power of the spell shot from the wand even Harry, who was hiding behind the golden statue, could feel the roots of his hair stand on end. This time, Voldemort had to conjure a silver shield out of thin air to ward off the spell. There was no apparent damage to the shield from any spell, though it made a low, gong-like sound as it struck the shield—a strangely creepy sound.

"You don't want to kill me, Dumbledore," cried Voldemort, his scarlet eyes squinting on the shield. "Can anything be worse?"

"We all know there are many ways to destroy a person, Tom." Dumbledore continued to walk into Voldemort, still speaking calmly, as if he didn't pay attention to what was in front of him at all.He walked down the hall as if nothing annoying had happened. "I must admit that simply taking your life would not satisfy me."

"There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!" growled Voldemort.

This made Hera and Bellatrix jump, and Bellatrix was about to touch Harry's side and secretly cast a curse on him.

"Hey, your match is me!" Hera yelled, drawing Bella's attention back.

"Hera, you shouldn't have stopped me." Bella whispered while grabbing a gap.Fortunately, Harry's attention was all on Dumbledore, and he didn't notice what happened here.

"Potter belongs to the Dark Lord, we cannot and should not touch him!"

"Oh maybe you're right"
