Alchemy professor at Hogwarts
Chapter 184 Memory Ball
Chapter 184 Memory Ball
Sunday evening.
The afterglow of the setting sun coated Hogwarts Castle with a layer of light gold, and the water surface of the Black Lake was as smooth as a mirror, but suddenly rippled.
An abrupt roar came from the direction of the Hogwarts underground classroom.
When Professor McGonagall, Hagrid, Hardy and others arrived, the dark corridor was filled with pungent gray-black smoke.
"Clean it up!" Professor McGonagall waved his wand, and the dust on the wall was removed.
"Oh, these strange things are floating out of Snape's office."
"Like breeding roe deer." Hagrid sneezed uncontrollably.
It didn't take long for his nose to turn red and big, "God, this is so hard, oh-"
Hardy took out several bottles of antidote from the finger box and passed them to everyone to drink.
"Professor Snape! Are you in there? Can you hear me?" Hagrid waved his thick palm and slammed on Snape's oak door.
Professor McGonagall and Hardy exchanged glances, puzzled by the lack of response.
"I think it's necessary—"
Just when Professor McGonagall was halfway through speaking, Hagrid had already backed away, and then ran hard, rushing away.
With a sound of "creak", the closed oak door was opened, Hagrid exclaimed, and slammed into the room, followed by the sound of ping-pong-pong.
"Umm—I'm so sorry—"
Hagrid in the ruins stood up unsteadily, "I seem to have made a mess of your office, but I really didn't mean to."
Looking at the dark office, Hagrid thought of his hut that he hadn't cleaned for a long time, and laughed, "My God, this is the first time I see something bigger than the hut..."
Noticing Snape's sullen face, Hagrid snapped his mouth shut.
"Professor Snape!" said Professor McGonagall, "I wish to know what just happened?"
"It's all right, Professor McGonagall," Snape said, casting a sombre look at Hardy.
The latter also noticed that Snape's wizard robe was also very dirty, even the neck was black, but his face was obviously wiped hastily.
"It seems that Professor Snape is trying to prepare the wolfsbane potion?" Hardy reached out his wand of lightning strike and picked apart several broken jars.
He said in surprise, "I hope you didn't go to the Forbidden Forest to pick wormtail grass."
"I don't understand," said Hagrid, blowing his nose through a handkerchief that looked like a dirty rag. "Wormtail isn't dangerous at all."
Snape seemed to understand something, the corners of his mouth twitched slightly, "It seems that Professor Ollivander has any good suggestions?"
"Oh, just a reminder, some time ago I poured some alchemy waste into the wormtail grass, I hope it won't cause any changes."
Professor McGonagall glanced between the two, "Professor Snape, you really used it..."
"Of course not!" Snape clutched his wizard robe tightly, like a bat suppressing anger, "How could I make such a low-level mistake?"
"It was just a pure accident just now. Could it be that the Potions teacher can't tell what kind of wormtail weed can be used?"
Hardy felt that Snape must have wanted to cast the Shadowless Curse on himself at the time.
There were plenty of similar bouts between him and Snape, and Hardy couldn't remember how it all started.
Maybe it was last Christmas, Mr. Malfoy of Slytherin publicly stated that Alchemy class is more interesting than Potions class in the auditorium, and happened to be heard by Snape passing by?
In the room, after taking a bath for Agnes, Hardy put her in a nest covered with lavender.
"Xixi...Sleeping Xixi..."
The pure white elf stretched out comfortably, arched Hardy's fingers, then curled up into a ball and fell asleep.
The next day, Hardy meets a listless Braden at the Leaky Cauldron.
"you--"
Looking at the dark circles under Lupine's eyes, Hardy couldn't help asking: "What happened to you in Hawaii? My buddy."
"It hurts," Braden moaned feebly. "I'm sore, everywhere."
But on his face, he frowns for a while and laughs for a while, "Please forgive me for not telling you too much, friend."
"It's something every man has to go through when he's just getting married," he said. "Is there anything interesting about the time I've been away?"
So Hardy told him the career plans of Catwoman Keira and Hermione.
"Ah, yes, Catwoman Kayla," Braden's spirits improved a lot when he heard that he was no longer in charge of Catwoman Kayla's case, "Let me tell you, man, no one can catch that guy."
"Scrimgeour is personally leading twelve Aurors to deal with it," Hardy reminded.
Braden gloated a little, "Let them touch their noses."
"That's a very shrewd witch," Braden said. "You don't know, she just waved her wand lightly, and the whole alley was surrounded by black cats."
"And then you let her escape?"
Braden slammed down his beer glass and yelled, "The whole alley is full of goddamn cats, we can't move and we can't see anything!"
Braden was very satisfied with being able to take Hermione to investigate the fire in the Muggle library.
So on the appointed day, Braden appeared at the alley where the red telephone booth was located.
Although 5 minutes late.
Hardy and Hermione had been waiting there early.
"I really didn't expect that Professor Ollivander would be with us." Hermione seemed particularly excited about Hardy's joining.
Professor Ollivander is much more reliable than this Mr. Smith... She held the "A Little Magic" magazine in her hand and thought.
While waiting, she had already finished reading the 65-page magazine, and she was very interested in a paper about the "Memory Corridor".
"What are you holding?" Hardy said. "Memoryball?"
Braden said: "That's right, the latest memory ball. There have been too many things recently, and I am always afraid of forgetting something."
He squeezed the memory ball hard, and then the flashing red light made Brayden's expression become confused, "Oh, shit, what did I forget?"
"Is he always like this?" Hermione asked softly, as they walked towards the Ministry of Magic. "Looks a little... how to describe it... confused?"
Hardy smiled: "It's just getting married, there are too many things."
The three of them took the red telephone booth to the reception hall, and then took the old-fashioned elevator to the second basement floor.
"The Ministry recently equipped the Auror office with several flying cars," Braden put away the memory ball, "You know? This was absolutely impossible before!"
"I read the report in the Daily Prophet," Hermione raised her hand as if in class, "thanks to Mr. Weasley and his colleagues."
Braden nodded, "Yes, that's right, their arguments made the Ministry see the value of flying cars, of course—"
"We Aurors have our share of credit, people just can't stand the old cars," he said. "Should we go out in the Knight Bus?"
"No one can say no to a car that can fly in the sky, except the old Muggle-hating fellows in the Ministry."
