World Travel Simulator System In Modern Society



While Alice was fighting hordes of zombies with her classmates, she was surprised to find that all of the zombies that they were fighting had turned into ashes. They didn't even touch those zombies and even if they killed those zombies, they would at least leave a corpse.

However, those zombies died and they didn't even leave a corpse since the ashes they turned into seemed to have faded into the wind. Whether the ashes of their corpse disappeared or were carried into the wind, even Alice didn't know which had surprised her!

After all, her power level was already at S-rank Late Stage. In this world, only her brother Alister could do something without her noticing it since even Lynn's actions could be detected by her.

Although she couldn't defeat Lynn, she could at least detect her attacks beforehand so she would know if it was Lynn's doings or not. However…

'Is it my brother's doings? Did he unlock a new ability or not? How could he kill someone from afar?'

Alister commented as he had read Alice's thoughts when he was spying on her and her classmates's actions.

He didn't use his absolute mind to read her thoughts since he wouldn't do that but since he wasn't that proficient in using his Nigh Omniscience, he had unconsciously used it to know what Alice was thinking.

Rather than saying he wasn't proficient with his Nigh Omniscience, it would be more accurate to say that he had habitually used it to spy on Alice's thoughts.

After spying on Alice's thoughts, Alister felt that her thoughts weren't completely a misunderstanding. Otherwise, he would have just used his Targeted Killing ability in other places instead of her place if he wasn't concerned about her safety.

"Actually, Nigh Omnipresence alone could grant me Nigh Omniscience. With Nigh Omnipresence, I am almost everywhere. Therefore, I can also obtain information almost everywhere, making me almost omniscient."

"However, it couldn't be used to spy on the future as I am not present in the past or future. My Nigh Omnipresence only limited me to this world as well as this world's timeline. Any farther than that is not within my limits."

"Of course, I could still access the moon as well as the space around the world and the moon. As for the entire Milky Way galaxy, I don't have ownership of it so I couldn't access it entirely."

Although Alister was greedy for more access to other worlds and even possibly the galaxy, universe, and even the multiverse, he knew that he had to take things one step at a time.

He was already satisfied with having a free trial of what it was like to become a god. After all, the power he had used was his but not completely.

If it was his power, he could have still used it in the transcendent world but he couldn't. Therefore, it wasn't completely his power but the system's.

'No, this is quite incorrect. There are also domain-type of powers and their power only worked on a city or something and outside that, they couldn't use any of their powers.'

'So my World Master power might have something to do with the system, but it is also my power and not a power that I have borrowed. The only thing I have borrowed was the energy of this world.'

When Alister thought of that, he decided not to think too much. After all, what mattered to him was that he could still use this power in this world regardless if it was his or not.

There were still unexplored places that Alister was oblivious of such as the origin of the system or whether the system had ulterior motives or not. But for now, Alister didn't have the power to uncover those secrets so he didn't care much.

It was the system that had given him the opportunity to obtain this power but it was also his efforts that he had obtained it. The talents might be the property of the system, but his power level and superpowers were his.

Of course, Alister didn't doubt that if the system had ulterior motives and tried to take away all of his power, it was without a doubt capable of doing so.

After all, even gods have the ability to deprive others of their power or at least negate it. They could even seal others let alone that.

And if the gods could do it, then why the system couldn't?

While Alister was suspicious of the system, he still couldn't doubt that it had indeed been a useful tool for him.

The system might be planning to use him in the future, but wasn't he also using the system?

If so, wouldn't it be considered as a win-win situation for both of them? A symbiosis?

If the system had ulterior motives such as conquering the multiverse or even more absurd than that, Alister didn't mind helping it as long as it was within the possibility of him having the ability to fulfill it as well as the fact that it didn't touch his bottom line.

After all, he wasn't a white-eyed wolf. The system had indeed helped him achieve his goals so he didn't mind helping the system with his.

While Alister was in deep concentration as he contemplated the secret behind the system, he heard a system notification in his mind which interrupted his thoughts.
